Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because I get to see family I sometimes only see once a year!

We are having friends from Panama (the country) for a traditional American Thanksgiving this year! Will be thanking God together for all He’s done for us.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times because it brings people together to remind them to be thankful. And in my family the Verse in Philipians 4:6 don’t be anxious about any thing but pray prayer and thanksgiving make your requests known ( this is for me important for those eating my cooking

When I taught in the public school, Thanksgiving became my favorite holiday. As a speech and language pathologist, my language lessons always focused on Thankfulness! The children were encouraged to share their stories about their families, their traditions and what they were thankful for. Over the years, I have learned the grace of God’s love. I have seen the bounty of God’s blessings in my life. After a divorce and growing as a new believer, I have learned God’s words through your teachings over the past 13 years. My heart is FULL of thankfulness, Beth, for your obedience and faithfulness. As you followed your heart for God and women, you have strengthened me to SEE God in my every waking moment, and to TALK to God in every situation. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and staff! I love you and thank you for every lesson you have shared!
