Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

What a wonderful treat it is to be given a chance for your Thanksgiving treats. Beth, it is a great previliledge for me to serve ladies in our church as their leader for your “Children of the Day.” Tonight is our last evening together, and I am sad to end our weeks together. We live in Denver and tonight’s weather should be down to one degree, but there will be warmth and love in our church’s room among the group. This Thanksgiving marks 17 years since my husband proposed and is especially poignant because just a few weeks ago, I wasn’t sure if we would still be married. I’m to the point of being cautiously hopeful since he has agreed to go to marriage counselling with me. I’m doing The Children of the Day Bible study right now, and God has used it to be such an encouragement to me through this time. Thank you, Beth and LPM Team for everything you do.

I cherish holiday gatherings. I don’t get to do it often as my mom and sister are 3 hours away. It’s exciting times.

As I was looking through the pictures I was daydreaming about how I could use each item to make Thanksgiving Day more special. =) This is my first year hosting Thanksgiving in my own home. My hope is that God would use me to bless the family and friends joining us. I hope they are able to relax, rest, and celebrate all that God is doing in our lives. Thank you again!!!
Thanksgiving is such a great holiday! It’s the one time of year that all my inlaws (13 kids and 45 grandchildren) are all together….It’s one my family looks forward to each year!
So happy thanksgiving is almost here. Just finished the Patriarchs bible study and Beth told a story about how she always waits until whole family is together before she starts cooking for the holiday. That was from 10 years ago, but still great.

Our Church women ministry is lead by my wife. Even though we are going through a tough time in our life she has used Chosen, Redeemed and Anointed to bless the women of our church. This would be a great thanksgiving gift for her.
