Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

I have been diagnosed with cancer at 70 years old. I am scared but I know God is my shield through chemo. I am so thankful for my life, my boys, my BFF, and friends. I am also thankful for Beth’s ministry and what it has meant to me as a Siesta! God is good, all the time – all the time, God is good!
Dear Wilma, I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis! I pray a strong mind for you and that His peace would reign. He is good, and I am praying that the Holy Spirit would speak His divine wisdom to you in this season. The Father loves you so much.

Ok I absolutely adore the baskets you put together and some of the items I have never had and would love to taste/try. I would slap the table with joy if I won. Having said that I cannot in all honesty say that I am in a place where I cannot afford the things wanted/needed for our family Thanksgiving Dinner and so if you draw my name and are of a mind to than please bless someone who so needs this right now. I am loving the new items, and maybe I’m posting my in the right place this time! I especially love the gravy boat, and the kitchen towels. I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families. We will host our family, and we could have around 40 here! What a special treat…thank you for your thoughtfulness. We always have a big gathering at Thanksgiving not only of family, but of anyone who needs a place to go that day. We use the basement of my sister’s little church to house us all. It’s crazy, but it’s a good crazy!! Thanksgiving blessings to you all!
