Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

Happy Thanksgiving! We almost celebrated our Thanksgiving as American. I hosted my family thanksgiving with 33 people at our home this past weekend. Was such a blessing to have my parents and siblings and all their families over!!! Our own family has been going through some rather tough times and it was nice to just be together! Thought I would enter this contest even though we have already celebrated here in Canada!! Blessings!!

Today is November 11, Veterans Day, a special remembrance and gratitude for our veterans…Especially remembering the elderly ones who served during WWII. Beautiful baskets, very generous and thoughtful.

That looks amazing! I have a funny story. Went to my son and daughter in laws recently to be with the grandkids for the weekend. I was making chicken chili and grabbed her nice Williams Sonoma can opener. After banging it against the can a few times I had to look on YouTube to figure out how to use it! It was very funny. Now I want one though – it takes the whole lid off without leaving those darn sharp edges. Happy Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for you Beth & your wonderful ministry.

This would be such a wonderful gift for my mom! She needs to know how special she is! This will be the first Thanksgiving without my dad! After 51 years of marriage he chose to walk out on my mother. This was a man who raised us in church, worked in the church & then chose to walk away! But God has been so faithful to mom and our family and I am so thankful every day for the way I see my mom drawing strength, favor, courage and so much more from God!

This looks like fun! i would be delighted and down right tickled to win one of these beautiful gift baskets. It looks like they have all the things I could use to make our Thanksgiving this year special. Since I sprained my ankle last week and I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis in my other foot, I could really use a boost like this. While it would be great to have my name drawn, I am more excited right now to leave a comment on your blog, Beth. In our church’s women’s Monday night Bible Study we are just about finished with “Breaking Free”. Beth, I’d like to say this has been the most eye opening, mind blowing, heart and soul soothing experience I’ve ever had. I have been on such a blessed journey. The Holy Spirit has opened my heart to explore areas I never thought needed repair. The list of rips and tears I had at the beginning needing attention completely changed during the course and I am breaking free of old anger, anxiety, disobedience and guilt. I praise God for your lessons and words and motivating ways. Thank you and thank you God! I love your outfits too!!
