Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

The only thing I have ever won in a drawing was two free hotdogs at a local fair when I was growing up. My daughter,on the other hand, won so many cakes at a cake walk that we gave more away than we took home!
I’m getting ready to finish the Children of the Day bible study – In the study you discuss a conference held in Tulsa, OK. My mom and I attended that conference. She was in the 65 and over age group. Witnessing her standing there along with the other women in those 2 particular age groups was SO powerful – The Lords presence was truly in the BOK center at that time. My mom stood there along with so many other women allowing the rest of us to pray over them, with tears in both our eyes feeling SO lucky to have been apart of that special time! Thank-you for acting on Gods nudges; teaching & helping us to understand his word better, helping us realize we DO have a purpose at ANY age to do his work. Bless you my sister in Christ!

A group of dear friends and I just finished your study on 1 and 2 Thessalonians tonight. We loved so much that you encouraged us by having us write on the palms of our hands. We also felt honored to pray for the speed and spread of God’s word in the world today. Thanks to you, “Sister, loved by God”, I have fallen in love with reading God’s Word more and more. This is what I am thankful for this Thanksgiving!

What a wonderful gift! I’m a young, newlywed (just married this past June) and I will be hosting Thanksgiving for the first time ever this year! Any little bit would help so much!
