Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

It’s a treasure trove of goodness! This is my first Thanksgiving as a married lady and have already been dreaming of my table, smells and memories. I’m nostalgic that way, I suppose! So much to be grateful for this year.

My group just finished ‘Children of the Day’ tonight. We celebrated with a potluck meal together. One of my favorite studies-scripture changes. thank you, Beth for sharing your gift of teaching-I love your heart & God always gives you insights that change my thinking. Spending Thanksgiving with my family for the first time in many years. God is good!

What a fun idea.
I love cooking on Thanksgiving, and usually end up with a collection of people with nowhere else to go around my table. My family is far away, but the family of God is always around.
So many things to be thankful for, but at the top of the list is “Children of the Day”. It was just what I needed, right when I needed it. God Bless you!
I’m looking forward to hosting the family meal this year. It’s been 10 years since I’ve cooked the Thanksgiving meal for my family. Over time, we have changed as individuals and as a family, but our love for each other grows daily.
How fun! This would definitely go to my new daughter-in-law. She and I got to do your final Bible study at FBC Houston. So it would be fun to share this with her as a reminder gift of that wonderful time together. Happy, Blessed Thanksgiving!

How wonderful! I’m thankful that just tonight I finished the ENTIRE Children of the Day study. I think that is the first time that I did not miss a thing and the book is complete! You can tell I’m a list checker, can’t you. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I can’t wait. We have a huge service event the week before at my church, so thankful for that as well. Keep up the great studies, Beth. I love learning His word with you.

Hearts of gratitude abound and the lovely baskets look most bountiful themselves!!! Just finished Children of the Day with our small group and so enjoyed it and was blessed! Blessings to you and your staff.. And in the natural I LOVE WS and SurLaTable, The best!! And we’ will preparing our first Thanksgiving Dinner without our mother.. We lost her 4 weeks ago, but we know she is already enjoying her own!!!!

What a wonderful idea for a giveaway
God has blessed me too much this year and every year before! I am so thankful for my sister’s in Christ locally here in Chicago, but for my sisters across the country and the world. I have had the pleasure and the privilage of leading a small group this fall for Children of the Day. I have felt the strength of women of God all over that are doing the study at the same time we are. I have truly been blessed by these women and moved greatly by the Holy Spirit. Despite pains and heartbreaks the Lord is there and I see Him there in them as well.
I am thankful for so much, there is not room enough in cyperspace! Thank you to the Living Proof team and all that you do and thank you Ms. Beth for heeding your call.

well I would love to win this basket..it would be such a tremendous blessing I love to cook I have catered a couple live in one to raise money for hospice when my mother was alive she was with me and we cooked it together and then we cater the wedding together so I have fond memories because she is the one who taught me how to cook she was French so watching her as I grew up singing French music and making food from her heart was just awesome and I have a Williams Sonoma cookbook this would be a wonderful addition for me in my kitchen since I’m having to move out of my current place what a great way to celebrate my new start which will in turn allow me to bless my friends for Thanksgiving that have invited me to their home
