Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.
Oh how fun! I would slap the table for sure. What a joy it would be to get to use some of these items to prepare Thanksgiving dinner for our big gathering.

Oh, what fun goodies! I would LOVE to win and, if I do, I promise to put those items to good use! This is our first Thanksgiving with our little miracle baby (born in May), and I would love to celebrate by cooking some yummy things to share as a family.
For the first time ever we will spend Thanksgiving without our two oldest children. it’s going to be a change, but God is good and we are thankful for the blessing of another year.

Something like these items are considered a luxury and not one that I could afford myself. I love to cook and to spend time in the kitchen not only as an escape for myself but also to spend time with my family. I am teaching my daughter to cook she has been cooking small stuff since she was about 5. I believe that whoever gets these items will truly enjoy them. May God bless everyone today and always.

We are celebrating our last Thanksgiving in our current home this year, as God has blessed with our long awaited, much beloved farmhouse that we will be moving into just weeks before Christmas! We are so excited and blessed beyond words! I’ve spent the last weeks praying over our current home to be a huge blessing to the next family moving in and just praying that they already know Jesus, and if not that he would persue them with a fiery passion!

What a wonderful gift! 2 of my favorite stores for (almost always) just window-shopping. Thank you for a wonderful year of helping me and my sisters-in-Christ become more knowledgable and better followers of Jesus.
This will be our first Thanksgiving with our Mother in her Heavenly home. Jesus called her home in August. Holidays were always special because of her…decorating, cooking, and making plenty of memories. Everyone is grown now and God in His vast goodness, gave us so much more quality time than we could have imagined. Mama’s life was every bit a testimony to what the Lord can do. I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I know the Lord will bless ours as we honor the traditions Mama gave us and are forced to make new ones of our own. As we are reminded in John 16:22, “So with you: now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice and no one will take away your joy.”

What a beautiful giveaway! My baby sister is a great cook and hostess. It’s been a hard year for our family and for her specifically, so I would love to encourage her with this as she prepares to host her in-laws for the holiday.
