Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

OH my! My precious daughter is hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the first time this year. She makes the best homemade pies ever and she would be so surprised if I won one of these baskets. I will give it to her!

This is such a wonderful season! God is teaching His people to be grateful for all His blessings and to keep them in front of us. God bless you for all you give and do. We’ll be spending our Thanksgiving with 5 of our 6 children along with 21 of our 23 grandchildren (all 12 yoa and under. Do you remember praying for Noah Ridenour in 2011, diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma. Well he is the 12 yoa old and doing wonderful. Our family learned more about being grateful for each day thru that time of hospitals, tests, fear and learning to be more dependent on our God. We must always remember His blessings!
Grateful for my relationship with God, for my family, husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandbaby and new baby on the way, daughter getting married in April and another daughter who has met the love of her life. God is good, all the time! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

What nice prizes! Bless you! Williams and Sonoma have such great products! We are having a few military families over for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner — they are all away from their families. Two ladies and their kids are coming as well because their husband/father is still in in Mid East and won’t be home for the holidays. That was often done for us when we were active duty, so we want to pay it forward. These would be great for those dinners! Thanks!
