Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
God is so Good and we have so much to be thankful for.
Let me just say how much the last line in the above post was exactly what I needed to be reminded of. That truth brought tears to my eyes and filled my heart. So if I win one the beautiful gift basket or not, that reminder is a precious gift in itself. Thank you 🙂
Fun ~
Such a thoughtful gift from an amazing ministry!
Thank you for heeding God’s call !! I have been richly blessed through you and your ministry for many years 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving!!
I am praying and believing that all of my family will be able to have thanksgiving together this year as in the last few years we have not had thanksgiving as a family in about 5 years.
What a wonderful way to bless women! Thank you for your continued inspiration and encouragement.
I love Thanksgiving. It is such a special time. Thank you for all of your encouragement. I love this blog!
Our yearly Beth Moore women’s Bible study is such a blessing to so many and has been for several years. Being thankful for your persistence in studying His Word and teaching so many, doesn’t begin to tell you what an impact you have allowed God to have on so many lives. We truly are engraved on the nail scars of Jesus’ hands….my prayer is that many more will believe that before He comes again.
Happy Thanksgiving!
i thank you and I thank God for using you to show others and myself especially that we don’t have to be perfect for God to use us to share His love and His grace to a dark dark world. This world needs other brave, broken women to show we can finally be whole with God.
Thanks for this opportunity … what a blessing!! If I am not one of your lucky winners , congrats to the ones who are. Beth … your ministry has totally blessed & changed my life … Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!

I am so ready for 2014 to be over. Praying that myself and my family has the grace God has given us to remain faithful.
How fun! Blessings on your ministry!!
Working on the symphony of me life with Christ. Meanwhile, my heart is breaking over the separation of 5 foster children we cared for for 3 years. They were split into 3 homes, we have the 10 & 13 year old. The 6 & 3 year old went to a family that wants no sibling visits & the youngest we see regularly. The trauma is only bearable with Christ. Will you pray for my kids and myself? I am crying as I write this, I so want the 5 siblings to be reunited! Trusting God on this journey. In week 7 of Children of the Day, loving every minute in God’s Word.
Thank you so much for your blog. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hello Beth! I am a 48 year old pregnant working mother of two (one high schooler and one in college). Yes, I said 48 yrs old and PREGNANT! After coming to the Lord at about the age of 40, my husband of almost 19 years divorced me. I truly thought that I would simply raise me two children and that my chance at a happy marriage had passed me by . . . BUT GOD!!! After my divorce,–not looking for love at all,– the Lord showed me a man in my Church (with whom I had no relationship) and said, “This is who I have chosen for you.” This was in response to my questining the Lord as to whether my former husband and I would reunite. Well,–to make a long story short, the Lord had told my (now) husband two years prior (after my two year separation from my former husband had begun),–that He had chosen me for him (my future husband). The first real conversation we ever had was an acknowledgment by him and then me that the Lord had shown us that we would be married. Two days later we went to see our Pastor to tell him that we would be married. 4 months later we were married (and madly in love!). Prior to our marriage, during pre-marital counseling with our Pastor, I discovered that the Lord had shown my husband in a dream that he would have twins (two years prior that’s how the Lord showed him I would be his wife–in a dream,–with signs and confirmations following). My husband is 52 and I am 48; we have been married for two years now. Initially, we were not that excited about having children: we thought we were too old, and simply wanted to enjoy one another. But we are both devoted to Jesus, and when God reveals to us a plan, we simply say, “yes Lord!”. Well, just as the Lord said, I am now pregnant and expecting twins! I’m a full-time attorney, a full-time co-pastor (my husband is now the senior Pastor of a Church the Lord called us to plant), mother of two, and soon-to-be mother of two more on the way! Needless to say, I would love to feel special by the gift of one of your baskets (however,–I feel a little selfish even suggesting that because my husband makes me feel special each day and so does my Church family . . . The Lord’s still working on my soon to be adult kids though (smile!). Thanks Beth for all you do for the Kingdon of God. Much love and many blessings to you! Lynn
We are moving into our new home the day before Thanksgiving- that alone is more than e ought to make me slap the table! You are generous beyond measure. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to encourage others!
