Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

Girlfriend, I need all the help in the kitchen I can get. Cooking is not one of my strong points, but I give it all I got anyway. Thanks for being such a blessing.
We were to have Thanksgiving at my daughters this year — her 1st year to have us over. They had a house fire the night of Nov. 1st. Lives spared thanks to God & the off duty fireman down the street — THAT GOD WOKE UP! House is not as bad as it could’ve been. Smoke damage throughout the house — they’ll be in a rent house for about 2 months and they’ve been told to take nothing from the house. Cookware, cooking utensils at least? Nothing. If The Lord sees fit — I would love to bless her with a gift basket.
While I would love every item in this basket, I really want to win it for my Grandma. She lose Her mama only a few weeks before Thanksgiving last year and wasn’t up to doing her normal cooking and baking. This will be her first year back in the kitchen without her mama and I know this would just really cheer her up!

I am not sure what the Holidays will be this year , I just lost my sweet mama about 6 months ago , some days I am so overwhelmed with brokenness , but the Dear Lord has been faithful,to touch my heart on a daily basis and love on me and heal my wounds , the days I feel like giving in , is when God says no dear child I am with you in the brokenness , I am making something beautiful out of all this . Rom15:13 May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit . That scripture verse is near and dear to my heart The Lord gave me that scripture the night after she passed .
So I am praising His mighty Name , because He is with me so imam thankful for His love and Him Carrying me thru the days .
I love cooking and last Thanksgiving my sweet mama wanted to go out to eat so that’s what we did .so I need some help this year on what to do that day .

Never won anything in my life, so I will make my comment to enter the drawing. May the ones God has chosen to receive these be blessed by the nice things you are giving away. I love the Thanksgiving meal, but for some reason, at this point in time, I cannot seem to get my joy up to prepare.. I love Thanksgiving, not just because I was born on that Thursday long ago (and my birthday falls again on Thanksgiving), but because it is a time of family togetherness and a time to express and be thankful for all God has blessed us with (family and good health).
