Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

I am so thankful to our Lord for sparing the life of my husband in May, he had a heart attack at the young age of 55. Just 6 weeks prior to that event, his mother also survived a heart event!
All glory and honor and blessing to the One Who holds our hand! We are thankful for His mercy and grace!

Amazing prizes!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! Just recently had to move my mom in with us, then to the hospital and then to the nursing home. Stage 4 lung cancer. Hoping the radiation will work and give her more time with us. Somewhere during that time, I found out I have breast cancer. But God has been faithful. I just keep looking to Him. So since mom and I can’t do Thanksgiving this year, my 2 daughter’s are going to do it. They each have a new baby. We just believe that no matter how things turn out we’ll be together and have babies to hold and kids to play with. And we can bring mom. You all there, have a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving! Thanks for your ministry.

The ministry that God has given you is such a blessing to so many and here you go again, adding more to the blessing. 😉 Any lady would be blest to receive these gift baskets (even just one or two of the items in the basket would be a blessing). God knows who will receive them and no matter how it turns out, with God’s help, I hope to be like Paul and say, “whatever state I am, I’ve learned to be content”.

I love the holiday seasons and Thanksgiving gives us an especially wonderful time to thank our Father surrounded by our loved ones. I would be most honored to use the lovely basket to share with my loved ones.
