Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

After breaking my leg in a game of kickball with the middle school youth group students, while wearing my sparkly flip flops. God has allowed a season of “whoa” in my life. For those who know me I DON’T do this well. I’m a server. To be served is hard. But the amount of gratitude I have this season is through the roof! Would love to bless my step mom with this lovely basket for opening her home in Colorado for Thanksgiving.

Our group began in August with Children of the Day which brought a lot of “light” to our daily walks and are finishing now, Priscilla’s BREATHE! By the time you couple the muscular faith of the Thessalonian church with our investigation of what it means to embed the abbath rest of God in our daily walks — it seems so appropriate that Thanksgiving is right around the corner — the American cultural embodiment of celebration of the harvest of work, the centrality of worship, and the gift of rest!
Living gratefully is living greatly!

God has blessed our family this season with much ~~ not monetarily, but spiritually. Although there have been a few ‘bumps’ on our journey, we are happy to say we have emerged closer in our walk with our Creator and with other family relationships…thank you Father.

Thanksgiving time is also my birthday time, but I didn’t come here for a giveaway, but to say thank you to Beth.
I recently went through a “season”, a trial, a difficult time over several months. Through it God strengthened my faith and even blessed me with a couple gifts of insight and truth. As it ended I still didn’t understand what had happened until I read one of Beth’s books that I had downloaded a year ago. I hadn’t intended on reading it at that time last month, but God told me to stop and read, so I did. It answered my prayers, my lingering questions, my confusion – Beth helped me to understand spiritual warfare in a new way that made sense of what I had experienced. When I shared the insights with a friend, she confirmed that indeed it explained my experience. So thank you Beth for all that you share and all that you do in His service; I am grateful.
God is good! He is faithful. He will never leave you or forsake you. Pray without ceasing and without doubt. Give thanks in all things.

Am so thankful for LPM. Was completely taken with James, Mercy Reigns. I shared it with my mom and now she and her church are scheduled for the study in Jan. James is like looking at yourself in the mirror in a swimsuit. Do I really look like this? LOL I am now in Thessalonians:-) Work of faith, labor of love, and endurance of hope!

So love this. Having my 43 birthday this month and as the only parent to my sweet 9 year old son it would be a nice birthday gift as I don’t really celebrate my birthday. It’s just the 2 of us so I would be the cooker baker and cleaner so I just pass. Lol
