Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it:Β When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!

“in Christ Alone”
So many favorites, but that one just says it all.

I am not familiar with any of his songs, as this past Saturday was my first ( but certainly not last) exposure to his music during the Simulcast – I sure hope I am a winner of his new CD- thanks
I got to see Travis Cottrell live at my church many years ago. I fell in love with his passion for Christ and music. As a matter of fact, I knew right at that moment, that I needed to be up there singing with him! Lol! Trust me, I can’t sing but I do share the same passion for Christ and music.
I love “Just as I Am.” When I heard him first begin to sing, I cringed. My church always sing “Just as I Am” for homecoming. And honestly, it drags on and on. But after hearing Travis sing it, I wanted to hear it again and again. Then I wanted to give the arrangement to our music leader so we can sing that arrangement in church! Loved it!
I have been singing, March On and Refine Me all week…God is using this cd big time in my life to encourage me and to keep my eyes on him! I already have the new cd but would love to win one to give to my sister. π

We Long For You on the album Found. LOVE THE WORDS OF THIS SONG!
Saturday was my first simulcast and the first time hearing Travis. Talk about rocking down the house!! AMAZING to think of God the Father having 180,000 beautiful voices singing those praise songs to Him all at once!! I do think the song “The Word of God Has Spoken” was my favorite one.
Thanks, you guys!!

Hi Beth!
I attended Living Proof on Saturday from Thunder Bay, ON. It was my first time ever hearing you speak and Travis perform! I actually looked him up on iTunes this morning because his songs have been playing through my head all week, and I downloaded two of his songs. I’d love the whole album!

Oh, and if I had to choose a favourite, it would be that reallllly powerful one that he closed with, but I don’t know the name of it. After than one it be “Just as I am”. Very beautiful.
There are several of his songs that I could claim as favorites, but my *most* favorite is probably a toss up between “In Christ Alone” and “Jesus Saves”. Both songs are just so incredibly powerful and both have been a part of some of the most Spirit-filled worship times I’ve ever experienced!
Denise Lieberknecht, San Diego, CA
I’ve only heard Travis at one of your conferences… but loved the time of worship we were able to share there! π
LOVE Travis’ music and the way God is using him. I can’t just pick one favorite! I really enjoy all of his songs…seriously. I did fall in love with his new song he introduced at the simulcast over the weekend…”The Word of God has spoken”
I love all of Travis’ music and was privileged to be part of a Living Proof event in April 2010 at Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz, FL, which is my brother’s home church. It was such an amazing experience for me. I would have to say that Jesus Saves is my favorite Travis song, with In Christ Alone a close second. Thanks!
Karon Keeley
I have only been introduced to Travis’s music through the Living Proof snippets on the blog. I have to say I have loved everything that I have heard!
I heard Travis and his amazing music for the very first time this weekend during the simulcast of Beth Moore’s Living Proof event. Needless to say I became an instant fan! I even bought one of his CD’s on the first break–and I can tell you it wont be my last. I do not have a favorite song right now, I just love the entire CD. And, of course, would love to win his new CD!

The Word of God has Spoken.
Saturday’s meeting was personal and to the point. Thank you Beth!! and Thank you Jesus!!
My name is Sarah Maney, and I’m sorry to say that the first time I heard Travis was at this past weekend’s event. I loved seeing him and his team perform live in Lubbock. My favorite song we did on Saturday was “In Christ Alone”. Now I know that isn’t a Travis original but was still absolutely amazing!

“In the First Light” is really good! π but I like bunches of them!
My fave song he sings live is In Christ Alone. SO POWERFUL! Love it
Jill Byard
Saturday at the simulcast was the first time I had the privilege of being led in worship by Travis. Thanks for the opportunity.
I have enjoyed many of Travis’s songs, but a favorite is “God Leads Us Along”.
Wow… to pick a favorite Travis song?
Well, “Jesus the One and Only” comes to mind, as well as the “Lord, You’re Holy” one (can’t think of the exact title on that one, but I bet you know which one I’m talking about).
Thanks for doing this give-away.

“Pick me! Pick me!” I don’t have any of TC’s music but I think that he played a few of his new releases at LPL in Columbus?! Regardless, I TRULY enjoyed the time of worship at the conference and will be getting the CD regardless! Thanks Travis for using your gifts and talents to bring us before His throne!
Jesus Saves has to be one of my favorites – Been listening to Travis for years. The Lamb Has Overcome is the song I pull out when I really need a lift.
I don’t have a favorite song because I’m not real familiar with Travis’ music. I’ve heard some and what I’ve heard was good, but I don’t remember the names of the songs. I don’t listen to the radio much.

Alive Forever Amen π
I LOVE “In Christ Alone” but have not heard a bad Travis song:-)
Marianne Pitchford and I love “To The King”!!
It is so hard to pick one song from Travis since I love them all. But the one that gets you soaring to the heights of heaven is Our God Saves. Love it, love it love it. Sorry I missed the Simulcast. The first one I haven’t participated in. But what a wonderful feeling knowing you are worshiping God with people from all over the world at the same time. We are truly blessed to be here for such a time as this. Love you all. Jeanette
I went to the first Siesta Memory Verse party and heard Travis there! I love anything he sings! Unfortunately, I have strayed away and hadn’t heard anything new. I would love to have any of his CD’s!
Tammy
I have not heard him yet but am yearning for some spiritual joy.
Had the awesome privilege of being one of your Canadian participants in the simulcast last Saturday. First time I’ve attended and I was SO blessed. “The word of God has spoken” is still running through my head today! Thanks!
My name is Joy and choosing just one favourite Travis Cottrell song is sooooo hard. As I looked over the four CD’s I own, I decided to go with the song that first drew me into God’s presence…and I’ll never forget that moment…it was “My Passion”. LOVE that song.
(While I’m here…thanks for the simulcast Saturday…and thanks for wearing some teal. God had you do that just for me. It is the colour that represents ovarian cancer, and having just completed my 5th chemo treatment, it was one of God’s ways of saying He sees, He knows and He cares. Just a colour to you, but God speaking to me.)
My first experience to hear him was Saturday, in Lubbock. I enjoyed ALL of the songs that were sung. It was a very powerful time!
Kimberly Teamer
My favorite song would have to be “2000 Years.” I love the message, the questions, the challenge, the call to go forward. (Everyone needs to stop, close their eyes and listen.)
Saturday’s worship and praise were…INSPIRED. I can’t wait to get my hands on the new CD.
Christmas music is my favorite so, it would have to be “Ring the Bells”
Dawn Whiteford
After attending a conference where Travis led worship, I’ve wanted to hear more from him! Anointed is the word!
My favorite song by Travis is In Christ Alone. No one does it better than him. I enjoyed the simulcast from MO. Thanks Beth for all you do.
Lori Bassham
I was at Living Proof Live in SLC and just fell in love with “The Word of God Has Spoken.” I know it’s on the new CD but it’s my favorite. π
Michele Lenhart
I’d have to say this is the one I like the most ~ “Jesus Saves”
Becki Larson, Battle Creek, MI
Jesus Saves
Hi Beth! Thank you for the message you spoke about Luke this past weekend! I was at Ankeny First United Methodist Church in Iowa. And I’m trying to get my salt on daily! π
I learned about you and Travis for the first time last year during the live simulcast. Immediately I was drawn to the truth you speak and Travis’ music that praises God powerfully! His entire music team is amazing! I love “In Christ Alone”, but really love that entire album. Can’t wait to dig into this new album!
May God bless you and your entire crew for your ministry!
Patti Hayes
My favorite is Just As I Am!
I love the song, “To the King.” I also love “I will Sing of My Redeemer/You Set Me Free.” I first fell in love with Travis’ music when I attended a “So Long, Insecurity” simulcast. I couldn’t believe the anointing I felt just through a video screen. I wanted to come out of my skin! Incredible. Love you both! I’m so thankful that God has called people like you for such a time as this to speak the Word into our lives. You will never know this side of heaven how much you have meant to so many!
I was at the most recent simulcast with my two daughters, aged 16 and 11. The music was a huge part of our enjoyment of the event. I love the new songs we heard, as well as previous ones and plan to buy the CD if I do not win a copy.
Chelsea Graham, my favorite is 2000 years!
Attended conference in Lubbock with a group of friends and what a blessing we recieved. The worship was awesome. One of my favorites is “Jesus Saves,” but I must say “The Word of God Has Spoken” is amazing.
Shirley Kurtz
You Changed my Name (I think that’s the title π
Betsy Massoth
I love “Forevermore.” π
My favorite song that Travis sings is “In Christ Alone”. I have been blessed by his music and have a huge respect for his ministry and love for our LORD. Thank you, Beth Moore, for all you do to glorify God!
I love Travis’s music! When my small group was going through the Psalms of Ascent Bible Study we all LOVED the music Travis played! π
