Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it: When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!
I love the “This is the Day” song he sings at the piano during his worship dvd. So, so good! Thanks for the fun drawing!
I am not familiar w/his music but want to be 🙂 Hope I win!
favorite song: (feel like I am a deer caught in the headlights as I am not familiar with his songs honestly…so would an honest answer be…the first one I get to listen to??) : ) will probably be my favorite now that my anticipation to listen to them is bubbling?
-Michayila Kairos

Can’t remember the name of the song, but it starts out “In the first light of a new day, no one knew he had arrived…” That’s my favorite. I cry every time. 🙂
Hilary – It is called “In the First Light,” and you are so right – it is AWESOME. Can I say that I think they all are?
Love, G.J.
Beth – this is my favorite of Travis’s music and I have them ALL. There is a richness, a depth to this music that goes deep into my spirit!!! I was listening on my iPod this morning while getting ready to work – and when the bridge in song #7 “Power in the Blood” went into that old precious hymn…”what can wash away my sin,” this Baptist pastor’s wife had a holy spell – All GLORY to His Name!
My absolute favorites are “In Christ Alone” & “Forevermore,” but on this new release it is “THANKS BE TO OUR GOD!” I have wept tears of joy over that one!
Jan Morton
Favorite – “THANKS BE TO OUR GOD!”
Letha Mahan. In Christ Alone!!!
Donna Huneycutt
My all time favorite Travis song is In Christ Alone. I can’t stay in my seat during that one.
My favorite song by Travis is “Our God Saves”! I am so thankful that our Lord, GAVE…yes GAVE His one and only son for me! Each time I hear these beautiful words, my heart fills with joy, and my eyes with tears as the reality of God’s never ending love pours over me. Praise God that HE Saves and that we have hope in HIM.
My favorite all time song is Amazing Grace and Travis and his group were awesome. I loved every single song they performed in Lubbock Saturday! I was so blessed by Beth’s teaching.
Deanna Glass
My favorite would have to be…The Word Of God Has Spoken and Your Word Is Life To Me because You Changed My Name so I Am Persuaded that Mercy Seat will Forevermore be Found When God And Man At Table Are Sat Down… And Be Unto Your Name too
I am a huge fan of Travis! I love all his songs. I do love when he sings Shackles, and I love “Now to the King, eternal, immortal, invisible the only wise God.” I could list many more as my favorites because at times most of them have been.
tough choice…..2000 years…..have to admit, I didn’t fall in love with his music right away, took about 1-1/2 minutes 🙂 Love you all – thanks for the heads up!
His music encourages me so, I couldn’t say which is my favorite. I love them all!
Miriam Hahn
I just loved the worship from the simulcast and would love to hear more 🙂
I love, absolutely love, The Word of God Has Spoken! Its on constant replay!
Travis is such a inspiration when he sings. The music was so uplifting and such a gift from God. I can’t wait to have new CD
Favorite–Victory in Jesus!
So happy Travis has another CD!
In Christ Alone is my absolute favorite. I cannot get through that one without tears. My children all know that at my funeral they are to play Travis’ version of that song as loud as the church will allow them to play it. So powerful.
But, I also love 2000 years ago and Forevermore gives me goosebumps every time. Man, that boy can sing, can’t he?

I attended the Lubbock session on Saturday, and it was amazing! I loved ALL of the music!
Polly Stanberry
Can’t narrow down to one – like all of them
I love “The Word of God is Spoken” because His Word never returns void! I heard it the first time at The Church On Rush Creek in Arlington, Texas at Beth’s Live Simulcast this last Saturday.
Actually I LOVED all the songs he sang that day and they each ministered to me in a special way 🙂
Thank you & Many Blessings
I love Travis’ voice and would love to have a free copy of his new album! Any song he sings becomes beautifully worshipful, so it is hard to pick a favorite!
Beth, God blessed me so much through your Lubbock simulcast. Thank you so much for sharing your heart with us!
Travis and the worship team were such a blessing…Travis just gets better and better! Love what I have heard of his new album!
May God continue to bless you and “we”!
My favorite is In Christ Alone.
Brittany Lawson, I love Holy, Holy, Holy.
What is my favorite Travis song….ALL OF THEM! Seriously, I absolutely get chills whenever I have heard him lead “In Christ Alone”.
I would be so blessed to get my hands and ears 🙂 on his new cd!
Liz Brooks – In Christ Alone
I love worshipping along with Travis live or on CD. “In Christ Alone” is one of my favorite songs.
I LOVE “In Christ Alone” Brings me back to the center of my focus in Christ. He alone is ALL I need! He is the only reason I stand and have been able to for all of my days!
I love Travis’ music because He takes us back the core of worship and I LOVE that he still sings a lot of hymns! I grew up on those and they are rich in meaning!
Paula Hughes
“In the First Light”—absolutely beautiful song!
My all time favorite is “In Christ Alone” but I’m not sure if Travis wrote that one. My next favorite is “You will be our God. When I’m not having the greatest of days these songs bring me to tears, drop me to my knees and lift me up.
Thanks Travis for the music and thank you Beth for providing such an amazing Worship leader!
Sharon Colley
I love his song ” alive forever amen.” Thank you for all you do..
When I just simply want to fall face down in worship I listen to Travis sing “In the First Light”. He makes me FEEL the impact of Jesus. And when I’m having a rough day of suffering with my chronic illness I sing with Travis “The Word of God Has Spoken”. What a wonderful anthem of victory in Jesus! Thank you, Travis, for ministering Jesus to me! 🙂
Yes it was defiantely annointed! What a blessing, it made my heart want to burst! I cant remember what song exactly, as his music is new to me, they were all wonderful! Thanks once again!
Martha Kimball
I am not super familiar with his past cd’s but was at the Charlotte, NC LPL and the sept simulcast and LOVED “the Word of God has spoken” song.. that is one i cannot get out of my head, and i LOVE it. 🙂
Becky Swenson
I attended the simulcast this weekend and I loved the song “I’m changed” What a beautiful song!! I would love to win his new record!
The only time I have ever heard Travis was at an event of yours. I was taken as much with the man as the music. I don’t buy much music, so I would love the opportunity to have as CD of his.
Janet Angst
Thanks!

I have SEVERAL favorite songs of Travis’, but the one that I am singing and claiming the promises in is…”Do it Lord, Do it Lord, that YOUR Glory may be seen”!
I remember the first time I heard “I am a friend of God”. Travis sang it in Bossier City, LA at a LP Live event. I’m sure it wasn’t new and I don’t know if he wrote it but I sure remember him singing it. I had chills and couldn’t get it out of my head. When I got home, I insisted someone help me learn how to use my ipod so I could download it. Have been a Travis fan ever since. That man knows God! No doubt!!
Cristie Ferguson
Love-love “In Christ Alone”….so blessed with worship during the simulcast on Saturday! Thank you Living Proof for your ministry!! Praise God that I am an ALSO:)
Was able to attend on Saturday and it was amazing. My favorite song was I’m Changed. As soon as I got home that evening, I was looking for it online because I just had to hear it again and wanted to share it with my husband. God Blessed me so much by giving me the chance to share that day with you and your Praise Team. The next one can not come soon enough!!
I was not familiar with Travis until the Lubbock, Tx event. OMG! That was great worship 🙂
TAMMY ELROD
I love all the songs I have heard but don’t know any titles.
“In The First Light” is a favorite. I love to worship with Travis & team during the simulcasts. That boy can SING!!!
May HIS Awesomeness be spilled out on your ministry today!
~CC Coffino~
Stephanie Peabody
Jesus Saves is definitely my favorite!
I love “In Christ Alone.” I have my own personal worship session driving in my mini-van every time I listen to that song. (the drivers around me must think I’m nuts – but that’s okay!) It’s just beautiful!
In Christ Alone, love how the tension mounts in that song and then you are just driving along belting it out with tears in your eyes!
Pick 1? Impossible! I LOVE his arrangement of In Christ Alone and also Jesus Saves! But I attended the simulcast this past weekend and when we sang Just As I Am, it stirred me so much I could hardly keep from sobbing! So powerful when he sings the bridge:
“I come broken to be mended!
I come wounded to be healed!
I come desperate to be rescued!
I come empty to be filled!
I come guilty to be pardoned by the blood of Christ the Lamb! And I’m welcomed with open arms PRAISE GOD…JUST AS I AM!”
I went through Breaking Free last year and it changed my life! These words brought a rejoicing to my soul that nothing earthly could ever do! Can not wait to get this cd! (and hopefully it will be free:)!)
God Bless!!!!
