Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it: When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!

~I LOVE all Travis’ music but if I had to pick just one, it would be, “Your Word is Life to Me”…because it is!!!!!
” The Word of God has spoken….we are changed forever….The power of sin is broken…we are FREE…” Heard it on the video from one of the events. Powerful! Practically have it memorized.

In Christ Alone (with On Christ the Solid Rock)
My FAV song that Travis sings is, “In Christ Alone”! I love how he ties in “On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand”… super powerful!!!!!!! And yes, completely anointed!!!
Kathy Burrus is a big fan of the “Longing” song off the Patriarchs CD. It’s just so moving.
Congrats to Travis. I continue to be blessed by God’s use of Travis’ gifting. Thanks for putting yourself out there. I can only imagine that this comes at a cost. And I’m grateful!
Jeanie White
My favorite Travis song is “2,000 Years Ago”.

Just As I Am (I Come Broken)
love loVE LOVE it!!!
my favorite song is jesus saves!
Saturday was the first time I’ve really heard Travis sing and can’t wait to hear more!
I have heard Travis at many conferences and loved him, but do not know of any song specifically that I could list.
My favorite Travis song is “I Am Persuaded”. While I was away attending the first SSMT event in January of 2010 my best friend, Kathie, passed away from breast cancer. I listened to Travis’s Jesus Saves album continuously at this time. The Holy Spirit even encouraged me to visit with her, a two hour drive from my home, the day before I flew to Houston. I was so glad I did. It would be the last time I saw her. I was so encouraged by Travis’s song and knew and felt the truth of the scripture. Kathie and I had been friends for 40 years. We had knelt at the same altar and accepted Christ at the same time.
There was a beautiful Memorial Service held at the Christian school that Kathie worked at. The programs with her picture printed on it also had Romans 8:38-39 printed on it. What a sweet message I received that day from God. I knew where she was and that she was not separated from Him or me. I will see her again some day in heaven! I can’t help but be touched when I hear Travis sing I Am Persuaded.
Our Church Easter Concert in 2010 was our choir singing selections from Travis’s JESUS SAVES album. We had a packed Church for two evening. We were able to reach a couple of thousand with His Word through Travis’s gift of music.
Thanks for giving me a chance to share!
Lori

I don’t think I can choose just one. I was at the conference in Lubbock last weekend and I can honestly say, I loved EVERY.SINGLE.SONG he and his band performed. They were amazing, and I’ve been counting down the days until the new CD is available. It would be wonderful to win, but if I don’t – thanks for the great opportunity!

I purchased this CD at the Simulcast on Saturday. It is fantastic! My new favorite.
However, there is one song that Travis sang on Saturday and I cannot recall the name of it. I believe it was the last solo that he did. It was so powerful! If anyone has that song title, please post it. I would love to have the CD that it is on. Absolutely amazing voice. What a gift! Loved, loved, loved everything about that day. Thank you Beth for reminding me that I should seek only ‘good companions’.
I’m not that familiar with Travis’ music however I attended the Simulcast on Saturday and was blown away by Travis and the rest of the worship team.
My name is Sharon Warren and I have attended several live events and two simulcasts.
My absolute favorite of all the songs Travis does is “In Christ Alone”. That song speaks to me everytime I hear it.
Thank you so much, Beth
Excited for the new CD!!! Love “In Christ Alone” and “Mercy Seat”…..thanks for the giveaway! Leanne Cody
