Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it: When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!
Good Morning! I am Hannah Lee. I absolutely love his new song, Just As I Am. Such a beautiful hymn and with Travis Cottrell’s modern and touching spin it is a soul-searching heart-provoking wonderful hymn of our Lord Jesus! Thanks, Travis!
LaShay Blansett – I love the song “Jesus Saves.”
Sharon Meekins
My favorite by Travis is You are good.
“Forevermore” is one of my favorites!

Barbara Churchill, Do It Lord is one of my favorites. 🙂
Congratulations to Travis on the new release, can’t wait to hear it!!! ♥
Rachel Graze
I am comletely filled with all joy whenever I listen to his version of “Victory in Jesus.” I actually bought one of his CDs yesterday just so I could have it! I told my husband – THAT is the way to sing about our Victory in Jesus! I belted it out in the car all the way home from the bookstore!
The Word of God Has Spoken is my fav so far! Heard it at the simulcast and can’t get it out of my head.

I love Travis’ “In CHrist Alone”. I am doing this in honor of my daughter, Amber. She has a case going before the Grand Jury today in TX. She is the victim of date rape. Today is a very important day in her life. We are all praying that she holds on to Jesus on this day when she wants justice so badly.
Love, love, love Travis’ music!! Been a fan since my first LPL in 2002! I have collected his CD’s sinc then.
It’s hard to pick just one!
Alive Forever, You are Forever, Jesus Saves, 2000 Years ago (my young boys love this and ask to play “2 weeks ago”.) :o) And, of course, In Christ Alone.
P.S. Beth, I’ve thought of you every time I get the milk jug out of the fridge and shake it! ;o)
Ashley Gauthier
I love any of Travis’ praise and worship music. These songs tend to be on repeat in my car. Probably one of my favorite songs would be “Mercy Seat.” So good!

I’ve been listening to some of Travis’s newest songs on his website, and “Just As I Am” is on repeat in my mind. That’s my favorite right now, but a very close second is “Victory in Jesus.”

I love love love Travis Cottrel and my favorite song he sings is In Christ Alone!
If I’ve heard Travis’ music before…I didn’t realize it was him….BUT now I’ll know. SOOO much enjoyed worship on Saturday. We had our own worship at our simulcast then tapped into the feed for worship there too. In Christ Alone was awesome. It took me back to my early days in Christ and refreshed my heart.
My absolute favorite song by Travis is “In Christ Alone/Solid Rock.”
Lyn Steriti
My all time favorite that he sings is the power or your love. Just love his music…..
Vickie Carter
I do not currently own any of Travis’ music, however when my friend & I went to the Fall Forward sessions last year, we really enjoyed worshipping with Travis live. You can sense his love the for the Lord & the fact that he is filled with the Holy Spirit is so evident thru his music! Didn’t he & his wife lead worship in one of the James sessions as well? Thank you both for your servants hearts.
May our God continue to bless your ministry & Travis’ music as you seek & follow after Him.

My favorite song of Travis’ is the “MOSES” song that he did at the Women’s Leadership Forum last year. The song inspired me to write a book call the “Rod of God”.
Gena Roberts
Don’t know – have often enjoyed him leading worship and there was a song that brought me to tears at an event (was it LPL in San Antonio 3 years ago?), but I don’t remember what the song was.
Emily McKenzie
Tough to pick just one…but a couple of my favorites are Jesus Saves and Ring the Bells!
My favorite song of Travis’ is one he taught us at the event in Columbus, OH just last month. I don’t know the actual title, but it starts “The Word of God has spoken, we are changed forever, the Word of God has spoken, we are free!” Now that is something I like to have stuck in my head! I am hoping it is on his new CD as I can’t seem to find it anywhere else ☺
Paula Saxon Love everything by Travis! I really like “In the Sanctuary” and El Shaddai… Hope to win.
My favorite song is 2000 years ago. It is very thought provoking and worshiping.
Melene Sexton-So many great ones to choose from but I love the Medley of In the Cross and Worthy is the Lamb on Unashamed Love. Can’t wait to hear the new CD!
Jan Pipkin
I am not familiar with Travis’s music. Except for when he accompanies a Living Proof Live video on your blog. Everytime you post something about him, I think, “Oh, I’d like to go buy that cd.” I just haven’t done it, so I would love to win a copy!!! Y’all are a blessing!
Shelli Bourque – Oh, there are SO many that I love, but the first one that comes to mind is “In the First Light”. I cry every time, anticipating the return of Christ!
Good morning from ARKANSAS! I am Ginger Bales…the very first LPL event that I attended I heard Travis sing a song…I’m not even sure of the title, but I wrote the lyrics while he was singing and often reflect on it…”take the shackle off my feet so I can dance, I just wanna praise you, I just wanna praise you. you broke the chains now I can lift my hands and I’m gonna praise you, I’m gonna praise you!”
I’m Lisa Anderson and I’m embarrassed to say I don’t know any of Travis’ music! But I think that’s going to change fairly soon! 🙂
I am so excited and thankful for Travis and His team they have blessed me with there songs and music. Thankful for you all to that you are willing to bless so many thru this give away.
Do not enter me in the drawing as I have one on the way a CD
I have been blessed by Travis Music from the first time I heard him at conference here in Albuquerque NM in 2007 that was the first time I heard his music and now I am hooked and he always leads me into worship.

But all his music ismy favorite.
Carol
I can’t remember the title, but I will never forget how touched (to say the least) I was when I heard Travis’s music from your Holy Land study. I asked my group “WHO IS THAT SINGING?????” I believe Travis and perhaps his wife recorded the song together. It may have been Jesus the One and Only- it has been several years.
I always “pass on” my LPM materials- but I can still hear that “divine” song in my head. I could hear Christ’s presence through Travis’s and the beautiful female’s voice. Of course, I love them all. With appreciation
Good morning! My name is Kelly Westerfield, and choosing my favorite Travis song is a tough one. I love Jesus Saves, so I’ll go with that one. 🙂
Hi, Jenn Irwin here. I’ll admit I don’t have a favorite and I’m awful about putting songs to artists, so I can’t name any one in particular though I’m sure I’ve heard a lot of his music and love it!
My favorites are many…..hard to choose. I love though Forevermore and Jesus Saves.
Im not really familiar with his music BUT ive seen on twitter some people tweeting some lines of his music and it seems really really good!
Have been listening to mine. Love it. My favorite song (if I have to choose just one) is 2000 years from the Found album.
Lawan Rivera
To be quite honest, I’ve never really gotten into contemporary Christian music – just too much a love for the traditional hymns. But something’s telling me that I might need to give this a try – so here goes!
Heather Herrig
Sarah Wilkie – don’t have a favourite song in particular, but have been to 2 LPL and loved everything that he and the worship team sang!!
