Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it:Β When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!
I have 2 of Travis’ CD’s and my favorite is his rendition of “In Christ Alone.”
Thanks for the give-away opportunity!
Well now, this is very hard because Travis is my fav. of all time worship leader and I love ALL his music. When he is anywhere close by my hometown we go and are the first ones there most of the time. My favorite song……well, Shackles is just my favorite to enjoy singing with my “spirit sisters” but my favorite to just relish and listen to because it is so true and so powerful is Jesus Saves!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, In Christ Alone is a very close second!
Sharron Steele
Hartselle, Al 35640
Maybe In Christ Alone, or Jesus Saves.
My name is Tara Dew, and I love Travis’ music! I think one of my favorite songs of his is his rendition of Victory in Jesus (on his Jesus Saves CD). Powerful!
I heard Travis’ song “The Word of God Has Spoken” at the LPL event in Columbus, OH and haven’t been able to get it out of my mind π
How could I choose? Travis is amazingly gifted and I am always blessed by each of his songs:) Rock on! I can’t wait to hear the new album. I will be in Casper Wy on Nov 4-5…can’t wait!!!
I don’t have a favorite song of Travis’, but have enjoyed his music at the Living Proof Live sessions I’ve been to. His music is great!!
I was not aware of Travis until I attended the simulcast in April of 2010. Did he write “In Christ Alone”? That is a beautiful song and I was so excited when we sang it at Saturday’s simulcast.
But then, you can’t trust me Beth, I don’t have dyed hair. Just natural as God gave it to me. π
THE HYMNS – what a fresh breath of the Spirit of God he brings to hymns. Love them – love the talent God has placed in that man – and that he uses it for God! Glory!
I haven’t heard his music-YET

LOVE LOVE LOVE “In Christ Alone” brings me to tears every time!
Our family has been a fan for more than 10 yrs and w/ every CD (started out w/ cassette tapes) we each (6 of us) have our own “favorite” so it’s hard to pick just one π I’m going to go w/ Lord You’re Holy. Can’t wait to hear the new music!
Never heard of any of his stuff π But have been to LP Live before and heard him there. Would love to win the CD!
I love all his music from the Living Proof and Deeper Still events.
I heard him in SLC, Utah recently. I love “In Christ Alone”
I love so many of Travis’ songs but the one that still speaks so loudly to me is from the Bible study The Patriarchs, “You Changed My Name.” It speaks to the core of my soul.

Everyone in the car sings along when “In Christ Alone” comes on. No sound in heaven could be better…..
Darcie, Bethel, CT: Definitely “Jesus Saves” is my most treasured Travis Cottrell song! This one plays on my Ipod often! π
Oh! Sweet Momma of Siestaville, You have asked an impossible thing of us to pick a favorite Travis song!
But….because of where I am right now in my walk I will say “Your Word Is Life TO Me”.
Cheryl Vickers
Travis’ version of “Come Ye Sinners Poor and Needy” -and I love to “have it in my head.”
Favorite song by Travis? Easy question — “Forevermore.” Beautifully written and beautifully performed.
Bridget Legge in Phoenix
2000 years – that is a great one. Can’t wait to get the new one!

Oh my, am I allowed to say I don’t know! I hope so! Thanks for the opportunity!
I love his music, from the first Bible study I took, through Deeper Still in Orlando, on each of the vimeo webcasts. Bless the broken road that he played in one of the studies is my all time favorite. I downloaded his app for the iPhone as well.
I heard Travis sing at the Simulcast for the first time! I loved most his version of In Christ Alone, and was moved to tears more than once during the course of the song. I can’t describe it but it seems like I was not the only one who felt something powerful move through all 180,00 of us! <3
Have not heard Travis’ music, but would love to. Christy Evans
Ellen McNeill–My favorite song of Travis’ is by far “Just As I Am.” When I heard it at LPL Charlotte, I wept unashamedly!
I enjoy his music. My favorite song right now is “In Christ Alone”. Thanks for the great work!
Favorite song(s)–Medley-In Christ Alone/Solid Rock, Praise to the Lord Almighty
Emily Taylor
Florence, AL
I agree with everyone – it is most difficult to pick a favorite. But “In Christ Alone” followed by “My Inheritance.” But every song is always great!
In Christ Alone probably stands out… but there are so many that I love… Travis is awesome and truly anointed. The Holy Spirit just wraps around you when He sings! Thank You Jesus for Travis and the gift You have given him. He truly brings glory to Your Name!!!
Paula Dahlke – Albertville AL
I can’t wait. So glad you put the link up there because I just don’t have nearly enough Travis music. So I’ll be fixing that! I Long For You, Forevermore and My Passion are all ones that make me sob like a baby – even when I’m mowing the lawn. I’m not kidding. The neighbors hear me singing and crying! Headed out there now! And I’m with earlier siesta about the story behind the album name. VERY intriguing.

“Made Me Glad”
My favorite song of Travis’ is In Christ Alone, no matter how many times I hear him sing that it moves spirit so much and I love it. We hosted the simulcast this weekend (our first one ever) and I saw a renewed passion for Him in our churches women and he brought us all different women from across the community and United us as one voice lifting Him Up… it was AMAZING!!!!
Nancy Adkins
I really can’t remember the titles of the songs. I just know that when I have been at a LP event, I LOVE his songs.
I’d love an opportunity to win! I don’t know which of my favorites to choose, but I was at the simulcast on Saturday and was just blessed beyond belief!
I am not familiar with his music. I heard him for the first time on the simulcast Saturday. I would love to purchase a CD but I am not able to purchase anything at this time. Waiting for God to show up:) Teresa Wood
Karen Huxen, Stephenville, TX
“Victory in Jesus”….I use it on the elliptical to make me go a gazillion miles an hour (slight exaggeration there)….but it gives me happy feet….and if I’m not on a cardio machine when I hear it, I have to hop/jump/dance….for the WHOLE 5 MINUTES!!! HAVE TO. π
Sherri Dando I LOVE all of Travis”s music. His music is so comforting and speaks to me. But if I really had to pick one it would be We will Dance.
Chrissy Jones
My favorite is “Jesus Saves”. I downloaded it to my daughters’ ipods to listen to on the go! π
Carla Clark
I don’t have a favorite. I remember his singing being a part of a seminar that I attended. I enjoyed listening to him at that time. I’m sure I will develop many favorites if I were to win a CD!
My fave Travis song so far is, “I’m Changed” and I would be pumped if I won this!!!
Have a great day!
I was a part of the simulcast this past weekend, and got the chance to hear Travis for the first time! My favorite song was, by far, ‘Just As I Am.’ I was so moved and blessed when the praise team went into “I come broken to be mended, I come wounded to be healed,” etc. It hit me right where I was, and Jesus rocked my world! Thankful for LPM and Travis Cottrell!!
My name is Jessy Perzel. I think my favorit song from Travis is his rendition of “In Christ Alone” – It brings tears of joy to my eyes and my heart everythime I hear it.
Melissa Campbell
Mercy Seat (I’m runnin’)
“In Christ Alone”, would have to be my favorite. When I heard this song for the first time at the LPL in Grand Rapids MI I cried until I think my eyes dried out.
