Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it:Β When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!
I attended the Simulcast Saturday in St. Croix Falls, Wis. and was AMAZED at how annointed the worship was. The music took us right into worship of our Almighty Father! Thank you!!
Kendra Thompson
Not too familiar with his music – would love to get to know it!
Debbie Kilgallin
I’ve been singing “I’m Changed” ever since Saturday!

Charla Veurink
I would love to be chosen to win one of Travis’ new cd’s. Hard to pick one favorite, but I would have to say Jesus Saves.
Peggy Durante
Don’t have a favorite song because I’ve only heard him once – and that was when Beth came to Fresno earlier this year!
Sarah Wheat
I love the all the songs on Jesus Saves. My top three, though, would have to be Mercy Seat, In Christ Alone, and Victory in Jesus!
I love the way Travis sings “Be Thou My Vision”. What a wonderful voice that young guy has. Winning one of his CDs would be wonderful and filled with lots of blessings. Thanks for the chance.
I love everything Travis sings!!!
Beth, Thank you so much for your ministry. It has made such a difference in my life over this past year of trials. I have been reading your books and I was able to attend your Simulcast on Saturday here in Montana even though I was reluctant to go alone. I praise His Holy name that he has a plan for my life even though I can’t see it right now. I believe it in my heart. Thank you for all you do. Thanks to Travis for his amazing voice and music! What a blessing!
Robbin Peck

I love “Your Word is Life to Me” from “Found”
Beth, any chance of you publishing the picture you showed Saturday of the fire in the side mirror of the pick-up and the horses in the front? That was AMAZING!!
Love me some Travis! And all his music. But my fav is his “Jesus Saves”. I have a Travis Cottrell station on my pandora account.
My oldest son, a freshman at The College at Southestern Seminary, has been lead to persue a calling into Worship Ministry and I am always sending him links to Travis songs and youtube clips. Yes, we love us some Travis! Bless Him Lord!
I have only heard the songs you’ve played on your posts from your conferences but I could feel the anointing on the music even on-line!!
stacey redding
I heard the song at deeper still in Louisville and again this weekend…Word of God has spoken and I am changed!
Diana Azzuolo
I am one of the very few who do not have a Travis cd.
I have heard of his talent in Tacoma! Beautiful! and I believe there has been 1 song on this blog that was breath-taking!
If you would ship to Canada … put me in! π
Erin Taylor
I honestly can’t say that I know Travis’ music but I have worshiped with him at a conference last year in Denver, CO and I know that it was music that touched the deep parts of my heart. The music reverberated in my heart for weeks after. π I’d love to have his album to worship in my little rolling sanctuary (my car)!
I bought the album on iTunes this morning and have been listening to it on the beach. The whole album is great but I could listen to Just As I Am over and over and over again! My very favorite song by Travis Cottrell is In Christ Alone…oh the words!!! SO powerful!!!!
I adore all Travis’ music; but, all-time favorite is “He Changed My Name”.
….He changed my name, He calls me forgiven. He changed my name, He calls me redeemed. He took my sin and wrote a new beginning……
I think my next is off new CD, “I’m Changed”.
Thank You LORD! Thank You,Travis. Thank you, Beth.
Thank you for the opportunity to hear Travis’ new music. Sounds like I need to get listening winner or not. π
I love Travis’s music. My favourites are Mercy Seat and his version of Victory in Jesus (I love the bass line).
Leanne Eldridge…fav for sure is either “Pursuaded” or “Jesus Saves” I have actually been in the middle of a nightmare and “Jesus Saves” blared in my dream. Not to be mystical or spooky, total fact.
Am I too late??? I hope not!His Music had us out of our seats in Clinton SC during the simulcast! I loved,* In Christ alone*.It was anointed Buddy I tell you it was! π Loved the event at our church, looking forward to the future. Just send that cd on over..:) Thanks Beth , for using the gifts God has given you. Gale
I would really like this CD and I am not familar with his music. The only things I hear of his are from the videos you place on the blog site. Thank you!
My all time favorite is “In Christ Alone”!!
I adore Travis’ version of “In the First Light”. First heard him sing it in Delaware years ago and I hit repeat over and over on that one π
his version of In Christ Alone-amazing!
Hey Beth, the first time I heard Travis sing “In Christ Alone” I was hooked…line and sinker. I love that boy. We had our pictures taken with him in Boone, NC a couple of years ago and I could have squeezed him to pcs. Anything he sings is golden and I will be sure to get the new CD and what a great Christmas gift this will make, Lord willing and His timing is always perfect. Thank you Beth, for all you do for us. I love you as a dear sister, and if I never get to meet you here on earth, I’ll see you in heaven. Love, Alice
Attended the simulcast on saturday. Although not as wonderful as being there in person, it was amazing. I use the word constantly for Beth and Travis…..annointed!!!! My favorite song of Travis’s is “In Christ Alone”. Makes me choke up just thinking of the words.
I can’t get enough of Travis’ version of “Just As I Am.” That song has always touched me and makes my eyes water everytime I hear it. When I heard Travis’ version of it while watching one of your videos on the blog, I couldn’t get enough of it. I kept playing it over and over and over again. Love it, Love it, Love it! It’s an absolutely beautiful song. I would like that song played at my funeral (sorry to get morbid on you, but it’s true and is something I thought about while listening to it).
Thanks for ministering to all of us whether by word, picture, or song!
I especially love “Do It Lord”. All his songs are great though!
I can’t wait to listen to this music. It is nice to listen to something that my children can listen to with me.
Laura Karn – I don’t really know a lot of his music apart from Beth’s studies and simulcasts, but I love In Christ Alone with the hymn “The Solid Rock”.
Just this last weekend, I attended my first ever Beth Moore conference in Lubbock, Texas. I have had the privilege of studying several of her “bible studies” and absolutely love everything about Beth Moore. 2 of her devotional books lay on my bed and I read from them every night before ending my day.
Travis’ music truly inspired me so very much. He’s been tremendously blessed by God with his talent and it’s so wonderful to see and hear it being used for the Lord’s service. After hearing him live, I am a firm fan.
Best of all of the Lord’s blessings be on Living Proof Ministries and the work that you’ll are doing for God’s Kingdom.
In Christ we stand,

To date, my favorite would have to be “I Am Persuaded”.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of his music.
Thank y’all!
I only heard him for the first time this weekend in Lubbock. My favorite is Just as I am with the reprise. Soooo good!
Vicki Foust
My favorite song of Travis’ is “To The King” especially because of the joy it infuses into my 7th grade Bible class each day. I play it as they’re coming in and tell them they’re being cheered on today in the Lord! They love it. I can’t wait to get his new CD. I never tire of his God-honoring and inspiring music.
I’m not (yet) familiar with his music so I’d love to win a copy!! (:
Vicki Layne
I love everything Travis does! I would love to add this CD to my collection. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but In Christ Alone and You Changed My Name are probably my 2 favs.
Julie Lawrence. Not familiar with his music, but would love to listen based on your wonderful review!
I attended the simulcast and LOVED every song that Travis led! I don’t have a favorite of his since I haven’t purchased on of his cds – yet!
I thought you Siestas might enjoy this. It’s a youtube video “A Tribute to Travis Cottrell”…narrated by our very own Siesta Momma.

I don’t know the name of the song but the lyrics which I love go, “Falling falling, into the arms of someone so much stronger”. Love it and in my testimony at my baptism earlier this year, I used those very words.
Anna Limehouse.
Canada.
Lisa Krumm
Jesus Saves π
Jennifer Gable-Love all his songs but my favorite is probably In Christ Alone.
I became familiar with Travis’ music when I got to see you speak in Indianapolis Indiana at a two day conference a number of years ago. I love his version of “On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand”. So powerful!
I absolutely love listening to Travis. I used his song Jesus Saves in a devotion I read during an Easter service last year. He is not the one that sings it but I love Praise the King.
