Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it: When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!
Beth, How wonderful was Saturday for you and your team? B/C it was fantabulous for me and mine. As usual, I learned many things from your message, and so enjoyed learning about Luke. I went with my two bff’s, who also love you, and it was at my suggestion, so we all got a kick out of the bff stuff. Loved the worship music…all of it!! Enter me in the drawing, I would love one of Travis’ CD’s!!!! XOXO
I’m a huge fan of Travis’. In fact, he’s one of my favorite worship leaders. He frequently sang in the church I grew up in (Long Hollow Baptist Church) and so Travis’ songs have been around as long as I can remember. I remember the days when he’d bring Mandissa with him (before she was on Idol) and rock the house! I’m not sure if I can pick a favorite song…but I really love his “Jesus Saves” – so simple and yet so true.
Excited about the new CD release!
Becky in TN
Absolutely love, Love, LOVE “Jesus Saves”!!!

I still get chills when I think about “In Christ Alone” from Saturday’s simulcast. I needed that day. Beth, thank you for faithfully opening God’s Word to us and allowing Him to speak through you!
In christ alone
And
Rest. That one is so sweet and peaceful and convicting and healing all at the same time.

I love all Travis’ music, but “Jesus Saves” is my favorite. Jackie Sharp (Louisiana)
I have CD’s of Travis’ and I would love to win this one.
Thank you and God bless.
My favorite Travis song so far is “Jesus Saves.” I love to crank it up and sing along. I always get chill bumps when I hear it! And I asked our worship pastor to get it and have our choir and one of the soloists sing it. The message it timeless! (Loved the simulcast this Saturday!)
“In Christ Alone” is my favorite of Travis’s music. I was so blessed to hear him sing it in person at a conference in Birmingham! Wow is all I can say! Anointed!
Janet Cline
I love all the music by Travis but I guess my favorite would be “In the First Light.” There’s nothing like hearing him do it live. Gives me the “Holy Ghost” bumps!
I do not have his music, but I enjoyed it at the Springfield IL. conference. Have a great day
My favorite song that Travis sings is “In Christ Alone.” No one can sing that song like he can!
Meredith Barr
I really like “In Christ Alone”!
Victoria Milam
“In the First Light”!!!!!!!
AND
“In Christ Alone”!!!!!!!!!!
Amy Thomas
No contest! My favorite song by Travis is “In Christ Alone.” I can’t listen to it without crying. (my kids love it too and my daughter sings it in the shower)

Julie Ratcliff, Texarkana- In Christ Alone

“I Am Persuaded” OR “This Is Our God”
We do both of these at my church. We learned “This Is Our God” during our Christmas Cantata, but we still do it year-round (just without “What Child Is This?”).
I am just beginning to become familiar with Travis’
music. It was a blessing to hear him, at the
simulcast, on last Saturday. The Lord ministered to
my soul, through Travis’ music, on Saturday. Thanks to all of you who worked so hard to make it
possible. God really ministered to me that day.
I praise Him for all of you!
Elizabeth Shirley, my favorite song/arrangement of Travis’ is In Christ Alone.
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG,THE ONE I CAN’T Waite for while listening to Beth Moore live, is is VICTORY In JESUS. My eight year old. Yells to me all the time.”play that catchy tune, you know the one that has the high note that you can not hit!!”
Love so many but “In Christ Alone” is one of my favorites – but my runner up would be “You Changed my Name”
One of my absolute favorite songs by Travis C. is “Mercy Seat”. It is so humbling.
Beth,
I haven’t actually heard any of Travis’ music but it sounds like I should definitely be listening. Just started the revised David study yesterday and did Day 1 today and already I am hooked.

I love all the songs but my favorite is “In the First Light”. That is such an awesome and powerful song!
My name is Megan Wilds. I heard his music for the first time at LPM in OKC a year or two (?) ago. I can’t think of a favorite but excited to hear the new album! Congrats!
Music is so powerful. I feel closer to God when listening to wholesome music – It’s like praying without ceasing! My day goes better, and it helps me remember His promises rather than listening to all the voices that are not of Him. 🙂
Paula Halcom
I had not heard Travis’ music until I attended LPL in Columbus, OH…so my favorite song is off the new CD:
The Word Of God Has Spoken.
Abbie VanDerPuy – Like many who have posted here my favorite song/arrangement of Travis’s is “In Christ Alone.”
“In Christ Alone”
I would have to say “In Christ Alone” — so powerful!
Carol Anderson
I don’t have any of his CD’s. I enjoyed his worship at the Lowell Living Proof event. I looked at the titles and I saw that he has one of my favorite hymns – “Just As I Am”
I had never heard of Travis before this past Saturday when I attended the simulcast here in California. I really enjoyed Travis’ music.
I remember the first song of Travis’s that I heard and loved was Shackles. But, since then I have added plenty more to the list. I can’t pick just one. I do love Mercy Seat, but that’s not technically Travis singing.
I LOVE SO MANY of the songs on his CD’s, but without looking and stressing over it I’m going to say “I AM Persuaded” That song has really ministered to me and I get goosebumps every single time I hear you retell the story of Paul and Silas in prison!!!
Love, Kathi
Cindy Simmons- In Christ Alone
I am not familiar yet with Travis’ music, but would love a cd as I am looking for a new one for my travels to and from work – a 30 to 45 minute commute everyday one way!
Thanks for the opportunity!
Kathryn Stoker 2,000 Years!!!
I am not familiar with Travis’s music. I know about him through this Web site, but have never heard him on the radio or seen his CDs in stores. I’d love to hear more!
I’m Janel Stogdill. I’m not really familiar with Travis’ music, although I’ve heard his name a bunch of times and would love to hear him!
Loved Travis’ music last year when you came to Toronto. I so appreciate music that uses Scripture in the lyrics. Thanks to Travis and the band for singing and performing all for His glory!
I don’t really have a favorite because I haven’t listened to his CD’s very much. I do LOVE praise music and if I don’t win, I will be out this week to buy the new CD. Can’t wait to hear him in person in January at the Siesta weekend in Houston!
I love to worship with Travis’ music. Jesus Saves, In Christ Alone and so many others. Can’t wait to listen to his latest cd
Amanda Haugen
My favorite song from Travis (very hard to narrow down) is “My passion”
Not familiar with Travis’s music, but would love a CD that builds you up.
Richelle Barding
My favorite is In Christ Alone.
My favorite song by Travis to date would probably have to be “Jesus Saves”. I LOVE that song! Had the privilege of hearing him LIVE again recently when Living Proof was in Charlotte and I am always so blessed by his ministry. I can hardly wait to hear his new CD …it would be awesome to win a copy of it! ( :
Kim Heaton
“Jesus Saves”!!
Ginger Myers
Yep, I’m the one who didn’t know he had original music … When I came to the Birmingham show last December it was all praise choruses. It didn’t occur to me that he had written them!
How exciting…I love any time I find new worship music and how can you lose with Travis. I guess I would have to say In Christ Alone would be my favorite. But I must say I had a blast when he and the band did Shackles at Living Proof Live in Columbus, OH. I was one of the pastor’s wives dancing in the audience.
Cindy, Favorite song “In Christ Alone”
Alive Forever Amen!
Love them all!!
