Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it: When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!
The simulcast last Sunday was my first exposure to Travis and the worship team and it was a powerful experience! What a gift they all have! I’m also curious as to the artist played during the intro countdown and the break. It was a female artist, can anyone help out with a name or the name of the songs?
Stacie Gerathy
“Your Word is Life to Me” is my favorite song!
Windy Gamble
2,000 Years
Shannon Hicks
Can’t say which one….I’ve only heard him at a conference but hope to win so that I can be more familiar. If not, will download tomorrow! Thanks for doing this fun giveaway!
Well now. The other day I noticed that my “Mom Worship” playlist was All Travis. But if I had to choose one I go to time and time again…Be Unto Your Name. Even our Worship leader at our church knows it is my favorite and she includes it in Worship frequently.
Darlene Chiasson
I don’t have a favorite song. So far all I’ve heard are the ones from the video’s of the ministry conferences. From the other comments I definitely need to pay more attention to “In Christ Alone”. I love to worship so I would enjoy the free treat. Blessings to all of you in this ministry.
My name is Nicola Mathieson. I LOVE Travis Cottrell’s music! My favourite song is “In Christ Alone”. It gives me goose bumps every time I hear it. Loved hearing from you and Travis during the simulcast on Saturday. 🙂
Bobbie Lutz
No one can sing ‘In Christ Alone’ like Travis! I love to hear him sing anything! He has a gift that he shares beautifully,
Christy Klassen My favorite song of Travis’…oh that’s a hard one to pick! ‘In the First Light’ is my favorite, though his ‘In Christ Alone’ is amazing!! His voice soars and brings forth the majesty of both those songs which all goes back to the majesty of the King he is praising!!
Melody Talley
One of my favorites is “The Word of God Has Spoken”
Donnicia Pepper
Just one huh?
Longing (Abrahams song)
Congratulations to Brother Travis!! (I laughed out loud at the Simulcast when Beth responded to one of T’s songs by saying, “Doncha just wish that boy would learn to sing?” (or something to that effect 🙂 )
Forgive what might sound cliche, but I HAVE to say “In Christ Alone” which, every time I hear it, my whole being stands to attention in proclaiming the utter truth that the song proclaims so magnificently.
May the Lord bless MANY with this CD, including Travis and his family 🙂
In Christ Alone brings me to tears every time!! Love it!!! thanks,
Ericka Reynolds
saturday @ the simulcast was my first time to hear his amazing voice – I came home and you-tubed him… I don’t have a favorite … Yet

Thanks for doing a giveaway!
I love so many of them. In Christ Alone & Forevermore just touch my soul & bring tears every time. I was so disappointed I didn’t get to go to the simulcast. I know the message and worship songs had to have brought heaven down!

Yes, LORD. DO IT!

Alicia Lowery
I think “Forevermore” is my all time fave… although “In Christ Alone” is reallllly good. And if I’m in the praise-dancing mood… it would HAVE to be “Shackles”. If I’m in need of peace… it’s “In Rest” Oh wait, you only asked for one. Yeah… “Forevermore” For sure. Definitely. Good stuff. God stuff. 🙂

I love everything he sings because he has a voice like chocolate–rich and full. And I mean that in the most spiritual sense! I do love “In Christ Alone” though…
I’m in need of a new praise CD! And I’ve never heard Travis before!! But with such high endorsements, it may be worth checking out!
Marissa Burt
I’ve only ever heard Travis on the Bible studies, but I love the renditions he does of the classic hymns.
I just learned about Travis at the simulcast this week. I was blown away by the opening songs & stood there with tears streaming down my face as we all worshipped together. It was the power of the singing that opened me up for the teaching that day. Awesome. Powerful. I’d feel blessed to win. Thanks for the chance!
My favorite song varies with what season of life I am in. But for sure 2000 years, In Christ Alone, & Ring the Bells. But can’t wait to hear his new music & hope that one of the songs he played at the LPM event (about being changed) is on it.
I was in Lubbock and was so fortunate and blessed to see Travis and the worship team live…WOW…Amazing. that was some powerful lifting worship..one of my favorites he sang was In Christ alone. I could not wait to get home and play Travis’s music for my teenage daughters…

“Unashamed Love” I enjoyed the fellowship at simulcast in Wilmore Ky. I sat beside the stained windows and listened to Travis and the sky was so graciously baby blue. Truly felt blessed to be there and cherished God’s presence. Praying for LPM and thank you for your service
