Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it: When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!
I was at the Lubbock conference and it was my first time to hear Travis’s music but I fell in love with “In Christ Alone”. I still get goosebumps when I think back to singing that song on Saturday…God’s presence filled that arena!!!
I love Travis’s version of In Christ Alone. Makes me cry every time! By the way, anyone know where I can get a copy of that?
Sarah Mize
The Word of God Has Spoken
(it gives me chill bumps)
I am Lindy Fruge from Lubbock. Loved hanging out with Jesus and you guys on Saturday. My favorite song on Saturday was In Christ Alone. I’m surprised the roof didn’t come off! Blessings to you all!
Sue Speir
I am not that familiar with Travis’ music, but I was at the simulcast in Georgia on Saturday and I thoroughly enjoyed the worship time with Travis. And Beth, I was blessed (again!) by your teaching.
Thank you so much for all you do. I know it is God working through you, but you are the willing vessel. So grateful for all I have learned from you over the years.
Vicki Osier – In Christ Alone. Awesome song. Beautiful arrangement.
My all time favorite song by Travis is “Jesus Saves.” It’s my go-to song for when I’m happy, sad, struggling, rejoicing and it always brings me to tears as it reminds me of the core of our faith.
Anna Campbell
I was at a host church last Saturday and this was the 1st time I’ve heard Travis’ music. LOVED IT! Put me in the drawing please;)
I love all of Travis’ songs, but “In Christ Alone” is one of my very favorites!
I have listened to his music through Beth’s ministry. Everything he sings is wonderful. I did one of your studies, years ago, and he sang “God Bless The Broken Road.” It was just beautiful! I will definitely buy, if I don’t win, his new CD.
I am a huge fan of Travis! I love his song “Jesus Saves”, it is my favorite. Can’t wait to get his new CD.
Jesus Saves is my favorite.
Sister Lynn D’Souza
Forevermore!
We love Travis!
Hi! My name is Candace Hendrick:) I hadn’t heard of Travis until I jumped on the this blog about Easter time last year. I have enjoyed listening to his music on the LPL videos, and so far out of what I have heard my favorite is The Word of God Has Spoken (hope that is the right name).
Blessings,
Candace:)
Jennifer Elwell
I love “Ring the Bells” and “Jesus Saves” but I don’t really know any songs other than those!
Angela Contreras…I’m not overly familiar with his music…but loved the one on Saturday about “we are free!” I guess that’s his 🙂
I LOVE TRAVIS’ MUSIC!!!!! I especially loved the preview of “I’m Changed” on Saturday. He does an incredible job of removing all of the junk that I’m carrying around and bringing me into God’s presence! Thank you, Travis!
I am horrible with the names of songs…but my favorite is the one he sings by himself, he sang it Saturday during the simulcast.
Hello! My name is Donielle and my favorite song is Shackles!
Congratulations to Travis!
I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite album, much less a single song.
I think that my favorite Travis Cottrell song is always the one that speaks to my heart at that moment in time. YOUR WORD IS LIFE TO ME has brought me to my knees as have MERCY SEAT and HE REIGNS.
Can’t wait to be blessed by the new release!
It’s an older one…”Come Ye Sinners” I love the chorus: “I will arise and go to Jesus…” but my new favorite is “The Word of God has Spoken.”
My absolute favorite is Jesus Saves.
My name is Diane Trail. I love all of Travis’ songs but I can’t get “Just As I Am” out of my head since the Simulcast last Saturday. I notice that song is on his new CD and I would so like to have it.
The ENTIRE Jesus Saves albumn!!! WOW!!!
This is so exciting! I love to hear Travis sing “Shackles”, makes my hair stand on end. And yes, it is truly Big Hair!
Wendy McClellan ~ I love “In Christ Alone”.
Monica Jones
My favorite song is In Christ Alone.
Rachel Bryant
I’m not super familiar with his music though I love the worship at the LPM events. I love when he does “Your Name” (I’m pretty sure it’s called) and how he has names of Jesus in many different languages appearing onthe screen – SO powerful!
I’m Jill Wondel and I’m not familiar enough to have a favorite song… Yet! 🙂
My name is Rebecca Coffee.
I can only pick ONE song?
Ok, “Jesus Saves”.
(but I’d like to sneak in more)
Jesus Saves. I just started listening to Travis. I live in Memphis and have been trying to work out a visit to Jackson, to hear him for his release concert Sept. 17.
While attending the live event at United Spirit Arena in Lubbock this last weekend, you asked all of the Siestas to meet you at a certain location. My neighbor said she thought that was the ladies who participated in your blog. I am not young, and all of this blog and tweet and twitter stuff is not something I a accustomed to. However, the more I thought about what you said about needing good company, I decided to look into this today. So…I want you to know that I am here to “blog” with you? LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the event. God is AWESOME through you, Miss Beth! Thank you for loving God and loving us through Him. You are such a blessing to me.
Welcome Siesta Sheryl!
I’m not a blogger/tweeter/twitter-er (?) either. But this, THIS, is way cool.
Have a blessed day!
I was in Lubbock on Saturday and loved it!!! Thank you so much for unashamedly teaching God’s Word. I don’t know much of Travis’ music but I loved singing Victory in Jesus Saturday. Incredible!!!

My favorite by Travis is I will Sing of My Redeemer (You Set Me Free) I actually love all his songs!!!
Joyce Watson
“In Christ Alone” really speaks to my heart. Travis has such wonderful ministry in music. You can feel God’s presence when He sings and all those ladies join in praising and in worship to God. I guess “In Christ Alone” is what I sing to myself more often, because Christ is who I want to lean on whether times are good or in the times that are not good. I want my life to reflect who He is and to love Him with all my heart, mind and soul. It is also a reminder that when I get those insecure feelings, to look to Christ and know that He is the one that need for rely on at all times. It is so easy to do what is wrong, but it takes a bigger person to follow Christ and him alone.
Oh my goodness, I am beginning to sound like a Sunday School teacher here. Thanks for being a blessing, all of you. Thanks to Travis for being so special!
I’m new to Travis’ music but enjoyed it so much at the simulcast in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho! Tonight I am meeting with the leadership team that hosted Living Proof and will pass the word!
Oh…I forgot to say something about Travis’s music. I don’t know the name of the song he sang mid-afternoon right before you came back to the stage for the last session of the day, but…all I can say is WOW! HE BLEW THE ROOF OFF!!! AWESOME. AWESOME. AWESOME. (and I am talking about GOD being awesome – through Travis). What a song, and what a DELIVERY. Beautiful. I don’t have any of Travis’s music – HOPE I WIN! Have a great day and may God’s force be with you.
Bartlesville, OK
We really like the version of “In Christ Alone” that Travis has done at LPL events! We also like the one he does about lifting our hands in the sanctuary! (sorry I am not sure of the exact title!)
I have heard Travis once (and he was really good) at a conference here in Richmond but that’s all I know of his music.
I’m not familiar with his music but I really hope to win.
Cindy Wood
“In Christ Alone” is my favorite
I’m sad to say that I am not familiar with Travis’ music but I love some great worship music that praises our God! I’m planning on checking out his music today!
How did the fist service at Bayou City Fellowship go on Sunday? I’m anxious to hear about it!
