Congratulations, ladies! If you will please email [email protected] with your name and mailing address we will get these CD’s to you asap! Of course, we wish we could give away 919 copies, but since we can’t, we are hoping that the rest of you (that would be 904 of you) will go out and buy it today. The link to do that is below. I promise you will not be disappointed. We love you, Siestas!
Update: Comments are now closed so we can do our drawing. Y’all are so fun! Check back tomorrow morning to see who the lucky winners are!
Happy Tuesday, Sweet Things! Something really fun is up today and I didn’t want you to miss it. Travis’s new CD is officially out and, let me tell you, it is my favorite of all his music YET. And, I guess you know, I’ve loved all of them. The mix of music on this thing is so incredible. They’re the kinds of songs you get in your head and you can’t quit singing (and you’re glad you can’t as opposed to those times when you can’t quit singing something stupid). If you participated in the simulcast last Saturday, you heard some of it. I’m trying to resist overusing the word “anointed” but you just see if you don’t sense the Holy Spirit all over it. To commemorate the release of “When the Stars Burn Down,” we’re going to do a random drawing and give away 15 copies. Here’s how you participate in the drawing:
*Leave a comment on this post with your first and last name
*In your comment, tell us your favorite song of Travis’s to date (if you’re familiar with his music. You can be part of the drawing even if you’re not. In fact, you’re the one we’d hope to win.)
We’ll do the random drawing this afternoon and post our winners tomorrow and make arrangements to get them in the mail to you.
If by any stretch of the imagination, you are not chosen in our random drawing of 15, go here to download or purchase it: When The Stars Burn Down
If you’re like me, you love knowing about great new music out there that fills up and builds up your soul and brings you to the Throne of God. Enjoy! We love you around here, Siestas!
My favorite CD of Travis is Found. I may even have worn it out. I would love to win His new CD When Stars Burn Down.

In Christ Alone.. or Alive or…
My favorite Travis song is “My Inheritance.”. In a struggle with infertility, this song helped me realize and worship knowing that I am richly blessed with or without children. I have a two month old baby girl now…God is faithful!
Gayla McKinney, Lee’s Summit, MO
How could I choose just one…but I love his take on “Victory in Jesus”. Probably my all time favorite is his arrangement of “In Christ Alone”.
Ellen Ratcliff
Favorite Song: Just As I Am
I could be wrong, but I don’t think I know any of Travis’ songs. I look forward to hearing them though.
Definitely Jesus Saves!
One of my favorites…too many to pick! But I love the WORD song and it was the the song from the Daniel study! Love his music and brings you into such a state of worship!

Tough call on the favorite…but I guess I will say “Jesus Saves” because that is what I first thought of. (Now I will have that song in my head all day… Definitely a good thing!)

My girls (9 and 5) love us some Travis Cottrell music! Two of our favorites are Jesus Saves and In Christ Alone.

My all time fave is “In Christ Alone”–Travis style! (that is with the “solid Rock” verses in it) There are MANY others (love Psalm 145, too) but indeed he is one anointed worshiper that blesses me every time…even my boys sing along at the top of their lungs from the back seat to our travis faves!!
I love mercy seat among so many others!
Hannah Wood and my favorite is “In Christ Alone.” Probably my favorite christian song ever!
My girls (9 and 5) and I love us some Travis Cottrell music. Two of our favorites are Jesus Saves and In Christ Alone.
I adore Travis and he absolutely brings me to the Throne Room every time we listen to his music. We love “Holy”! We have slap worn it out and could still listen to it a million times a day! May God receive the Glory He is due through this incredible ministry of song!

I am so excited this cd is finally out! I fell in love with one of his new songs, “The Word of God Has Spoken” at the LPL event in Charlotte. My current favorite song is “In Christ Alone,” but it changes from week to week!
Saturday when I was listening to the music I thought I had seen somewhere he had a CD coming out. I was so excited when I got on amazon yesterday and saw it comes out today! I have already ordered my copy so please don’t enter me in the drawing so some other dear siesta can win, but I did want to just say how excited I am to listen to the music from Saturday over and over again. It was FABULOUS!!!
The only music of Travis’s I have is a well-played cassette (yes, a cassette) of Unashamed Love. I would love to have his new CD. (Colleen Hale)
Lindsey Thomas
I like Travis’s music (duh) but really appreciate the songs he sings during the Psalms of Ascent video sessions. They resonate with the material…and the participant (me!) 🙂
I joined the Simulcast on Saturday and have been singing The Word of God Has Spoken ever since. I had it on my To Do List to go to Itunes today and get the song. I’m glad to have checked the blog first! I don’t own any of his CD’s so my finger’s are crossed!
My Passion!!! – Tara Drake
Karen Ledbetter. The only time I have heard his songs is here on the blog so I can’t say I have a favorite.

My other “most favorite” Travis song is “Victory In Jesus!”
So thankful for his ministry and that God has blessed so many through your partnership. 🙂
I do not have just one favorite song. But Saturday at the simulcast, the worship was so moving. I love hearing him sing and leading us to lift our voices.
Good morning,
I’m not familiar with his music but I would like to be! Have a super great Tuesday!

I was at the simulcast.
My favorite is the song Travis sang solo….but I don’t know the name of it!!!! You (Beth) came out when he was done and said, “I wish that boy could sing!”
Good Morning Beth,
I had a hard time choosing a favorite song of Travis’s because there are so many great songs. But, I have to say that IN THE FIRST LIGHT is my favorite. Every time I hear it I get goose bumps.
You all have a great day. I hope I win! I
“Just as I Am” I have already ordered mine(yesterday) but the songs have blessed me so much I would love to share with someone else.
My absolute favorite song is not one that is not popular. It “We Long for You”. In fact the found CD is my favorite. I love not just the words but the music itself. You can feel God in it. Brings me so much joy and comfort at times.

Oh I would love to win! It is hard for me to pick a favorite of his! I’m glad to hear they are on a new album!!
