Congratulations!! You did it!!
As we wrap a bow on our SSMT year and prepare for the upcoming Celebration, we want to send along our encouragement to you to continue in this great work. Some of you have already told us you are continuing to memorize on your own, or have even formed your own local teams. We couldn’t be happier to hear it!
Beth and LPM will plan to see you right back here next Jan 2017 to link arms together to hide God’s Word in our hearts. He is worthy!

This is the first year I’ve done this, and God has blessed me immensely for hiding His Word in my heart. He has brought things to my mind just when I’ve needed it, I’ve meditated on the Word more often this year while trying to learn the verses, and I know His Word will continue to bless & help me. Thank you for the fun & accountability! Your ministry has blessed my life and the lives of so many of my friends, and I am grateful.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Eph. 2:10, NKJV
My 3 yr old daughter has invented some fun “versions” of my memory verses…my favorite was Ps. 65:11, which says, “You crown the year with a bountiful harvest, even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.”
Her version: …even the hard pathways (emphasis on hard) overflow with PAPER TOWELS!!!!
In this house, with a 2yr old as well, she speaks truth! Fun year ladies! Thanks LPM and Beth and all guest bloggers!

Galatians 5:22-23 NIV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of this. My sister-in-law and I are doing it together and it is such a blessing to see her text every 1st and 15th with her verse. We share our verses and encourage each other twice a month. Since we don’t live close, sometimes it is the only communication that month, but it is enough. That keeps us accountable and close. But the greatest blessing are the Words that are living and breathing inside my heart each day.
Thank you, Father, for the blessing that is Your Word. It is life-sustaining and hope-filled. Thank You for knowing my so well that everything you put into Scripture is for me and applicable to me. I am truly never alone. Amen

This year was a struggle to finish in this memorizing commitment. But I finished and even though not coming to the celebration, I will be quoting all of them to a trusted friend.

I started this year needing some real soul healing. Gods word in my mind and heart have proved to be the balm I needed. I end the year rejoicing over what He has done and recognizing that my need for His word, is not finished, but deepened. Thank you Beth and Living Proof ministries so much for doing this verse memorization – God’s word is alive and living! This year more than any other it has been living in me and changing me from the inside out. This has been a huge answer to many years of prayer asking God to change my immediate reaction to the little things that come my way in life. Thank you God for answering prayers in ways I don’t anticipate!

Entering the house, they saw the child with Mary His mother, and falling to their knees, they worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
God has used many of the verses to comfort and guide me when I needed Him most (son’s surgery, ministry decisions, etc.). At other times He has allowed the verses to come to mind to help others at a crucial point in their lives. And of course, this is just the beginning of how He will sew those words to my life. My relationship with Him is richer because of the memory work. So thankful!
