Congratulations!! You did it!!
As we wrap a bow on our SSMT year and prepare for the upcoming Celebration, we want to send along our encouragement to you to continue in this great work. Some of you have already told us you are continuing to memorize on your own, or have even formed your own local teams. We couldn’t be happier to hear it!
Beth and LPM will plan to see you right back here next Jan 2017 to link arms together to hide God’s Word in our hearts. He is worthy!

“There is one body and one Spirit – just as you were called to one hope when you were called…”

Finishing this year’s Scripture memory challenge represents one of several ways in which God nudged and nudged and nudged me to grow up. Loving others in His strength, finishing what I start (with much encouragement and hand-holding from people I adore…hashtag CommunityRocks), just doing the work and leaving the results to Him. In what seems like irony, discipline = freedom. And I love He designed it like that.

She makes linen garments and sell them, And supplies belts to the tradesmen.
Jesus thank you for sowing your word into my heart. This year I clung to Jesus word as I went through legal custody and divorce. I was so weary this year after 3 years and God moved on my behalf and so thankful for his Grace. Still mourning my marriage but hopeful because his word has sustained me and give me hope that he knows what he is doing in my life and trusting him for all things. Thank you ladies for this wonderful fellowship in Jesus name.

I have loved the continuity throughout the year and the discipline it has brought. I have been reminded that unless it (the Word) is in me, it won’t come out. Encouraged 🙂 Thank you!!

I have been so blessed by this year of Scripture memory. Not only did the Lord lead me to verses that helped me in specific situations at the time, but the Holy Spirit continues to bring them to mind in order to convict, encourage, and guide. Thank you for organizing SSMT and encouraging us!

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12
This has been such a blessing to my heart. The lord laid it on my heart several years ago to start memorizing scripture via one of Beth’s studies. Scripture memorization has ministered to me tremendously. Not only has it ministered to me but it has given me a tool with which to minister to others. So many times I have been able to help a friend through a trying time because the Holy Spirit would bring a scripture to my mind that I had memorized that I could share with them. His word is truly a life changing balm for our souls, an encouragement for our hearts and a transformer for our minds. So thankful for this community that has persevered and encouraged through this year of memorization. “As iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another.” Proverbs 27:17

In reviewing my verses from the year (WOW)it was very cool to see that God is at work – its really not about me “doing” all the time but seeing Him…sometimes joining Him and sometimes just being with Him is more than enough. Thanks so much for the challenge – it has been amazing.
