Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

Wow! What a special way to show someone that God cares. God is so thoughtful, and I am thankful that you are obedient in sharing His love! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!! We have so much to be thankful for living in America. As for the the world we all have been given the greatest most extravagant gift. This year I’m most thankful for love and the opportunity to serve and show love to others.

Thanksgiving is given everyday at our house, not through a big meal or anything, but through Praise to our LORD and Savior JESUS CHRIST. As we have been through valleys, and had to climb mountains this year-HE has always been with us-and yes, there have been Green Pastures-even when they seemed to be impossible. All praise to HIM!

I love the beauty and extravagance of these baskets. I’ve been in pain constantly since 2010, and had to stop teaching. My husband is semi-retired as a Biblical counselor, so along with supporting our daughter and grandson during an awful divorce, and our son and family who are missionaries in Kenya, stretch us financially and emotionally. This would be such a treat at a time that we are already thinking about the many things we have to be grateful for. Thanks, Beth, for your amazing ministry.

I’ve participted in your studies for 15-16 years. I led a group of moms and high school daughters for 4 1/2 years. (This was my all time favorite group because we saw our daughters grow in the Lord and we saw their hearts.) I’ve recently taken my two 10 & 11 year old sons through Daniel and Jesus the One and Only. You have impacted my life and my family’s life in eternal ways. We are grateful! Love ya, sister! This is a wonderful treat that would certainly bless our gathering on Thanksgiving Day. It’s a real struggle to gather our family with all the differences, so I just ask for prayers of good fellowship over this year’s meal and what an easy conversation starter that this basket would give!
