Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

How fun! I love reading your blog and scripture thoughts on Facebook. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite Holiday. I think because it was always a time when the women from all generations in our family came together and spent hours in the kitchen planning and preparing for the feast. What fun times. Memories made for lifetime after lifetime. Praying each of you have a blessed and love filled Thanksgiving.

having been married 42 years, i no longer have alot of what’s in that basket…OR what I do have is stained, torn, worn. Ha! November brings thoughts of gratitude to the forefront of my daily thoughts. Beth, I am thankful to God for you and His ministry through you. I pray for you daily…you have your own column in my prayer journal!

What a blessing you are to so many people! I have enjoyed being in some of the Living Proof events in person and facilitating several of your Bible studies. My favorite study time is most definitely the one I am blessed to lead with women at our local jail. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! One of these baskets would be such a blessing to me at this time but I know that whomever it goes to will be blessed by it!

just wanted to say WOW! Just finished Children of the Day study at Hope Church in Memphis,Tn, and it is without doubt the best I’ve participated in! All of us were so sad when it ended! Not one of our little group (of many) dropped out during the 8 weeks. That’s never happened in any groups I’ve been in before! Swam this morning and noticed the chlorine made my palms CLEAN!! Lol! Ps. I love to cook!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the whole year!!!! A time with so many family members giving thanks for the wonderful, blessed lives we live.
These baskets are a lovely idea.For us, serving in southern Africa, it would be a fun treat from home and add to the holiday moment.The coming holiday season will be different in our house this year – our oldest has started university back in the States and it’s just not possible for her to join us over her holiday break. I guess that’s when one is reminded what God’s called them to do,and knowing that gets you through the tough moments.
Anyway, I am grateful for the ministry you and your staff have. It allows God to touch so many hearts to stretch, grow, and draw nearer to Him. Thank you.

LPM you have outdone yourselves once again.Such an amazing gift for the lucky winners. Like many others, this year doesn’t top the list of great years but we survived. My husband had to work across the country from our home for 6 months but by God’s grace he has found a job close to home – just in time for the holidays. I feel lucky you have him here this year. Keep up the great work…you give hope to so many!
Williams Sonoma and Sur?! Ahhhh, the memories of a time when I was young and single, employed, and living in civilization and could splurge on something fancy from those stores now and then! Now, I’m a SAHM in cold, wild, and windy Wyoming (-18 is the temp this morning) with a walmart. sigh. While I don’t often have trips to fancy stores anymore (and just window shopping is in the budget these days), I do have wonderful friends, and an amazing husband and daughter – all of which is worth much more than any beautiful or tasty thing. But, I wouldn’t mind a basket full of fancy at my door. 🙂 Thank you for your studies (Believing God is my fave)…and for the idea to give away stuff from WS and Sur!!!!

Our she group is loving your Children of the Day study. We finished video 2 last night. What an encouragement and challenge this study is to us. Thank you for the love, tears and prayers that went in to making this series for us.

What a wonderful basket!!I would love to share this with my family this holiday season!! My husband would enjoy the cranberry relish so much. I could certainly use that gravy boat – mine broke in a move several years ago and I always mean to replace it but some how I always end up forgetting it. It never fails we end up using a Pyrex bowl, a coffee mug, or the like! Thank you for your generosity, good luck to all, and have a very blessed holiday!
