    James 1:17 (NIV)

I’m just so grateful for Scripture memory and all that it brings to my life. God is so faithful to bring verses to my mind that I’ve written in my spiral and typed into my phone app at the exact times that I need them, whether it’s just to bolster my spirit or encourage someone else. Committing to memorize these verses has also enriched my life by placing me in a community of women who uplift and support one another. It’s priceless and really defies description.

    Psalm 29:11 NLT

One of the greatest blessings that I have experienced this year is to be able to share this experience with a wonderful group of women who I have attended Bible studies with over the years. Back in January I asked them if they would be willing to hide God’s word in their hearts and help support each other in the process. It has been great sharing all our verses twice a month. Their love and support is what has helped me to memorize each verse.

I got challenged last year to start memorizing more Scripture, and I found this so I did it. It was hard at times, but once I started getting a groove in it, I realized that it was something that was becoming a great habit for me. Constantly looking out for Scriptures to memorize, writing them down constantly, taping them everywhere in my house; it started to resonate within me. I absolutely loved this year, and will do it again.
    Cheers! 🙂
