I just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to do this with us. I enjoyed learning my verses this year. I think it is the only time I really got to study his word. This is the first year in I don’t know how long I haven’t done a Tuesday night Bible study. So this was perfect for me this year.

This year has been one of the most difficult in my life. Were it not for SSMT 2016 I don’t know what condition I would be in. I would have to say my absolute favorite verse of the year would have to be Deuteronomy 32:3-4 — “I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh praise the greatness of our God. He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.”

Beth, thank you so much for providing this opportunity to memorize scripture along with my fellow Siestas across the world! I asked the Lord for “one word” this year, and He gave me the word ‘dwell’ on 1/1/15, which I have dwelt and meditated upon all year. All 24 of my verses have pertained to this word. I have learned that the Lord came to dwell among us and now his Spirit dwells in me, and I wish nothing more than to dwell in peaceful habitation with Him for eternity. At the beginning of this year when I started this journey, God laid on my heart to memorize scripture about faithfulness. Well I was not prepared for the trial that we went through as a family when my daughter’s marriage of 2 years unraveled. I just want to say I have been so blessed by this experience. This is my first time to participate in the SSMT and I have enjoyed it immensely. I keep my spiral near at all times I don’t have a specific verse or experience that just stuck out. It was all great and just to be in God’s Word and writing out my scriptures, as well as reading the blog posts of the guest bloggers and of course Beth’s videos are my favorite. The whole experience has been a blessing to me. I am the wife of a pastor, a mom and a mimi. I can’t thank you enough for the opportunity to be a part of the SSMT. I unfortunately won’t be able to travel to Houston for the big party, but I will be thinking of all of you and wishing I was there!! ☺️
