Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

One of the best Holidays of the year for i can reflect back on ALL He has done for me, praise to the Most High God for all my family and get to be together among the best cooking, biggest meal of the year here at this house!!!

Believing God for continued healing, thanking God for our last single son marrying a Godly woman, praising God for our first grandchildren, (two girls…after having 4 sons!) due to be born 3 weeks apart!

What a fun blessing this would be!! We are hosting our first Thanksgiving because my mom is having surgery, so this would be an awesome beginning to the fun!

Happy Thanksgiving! Can’t wait to be with family! Something crazy usually happens, like the horses getting loose or the year my husband was going to show his niece how to make a chicken go to sleep by moving it in a circular motion…yes, you guessed it…he came to the house with a bloody nose. We don’t live on a farm. Sister-in-law lives on a large piece of land outside a large city. Never a dull moment.
How thoughtful you all are. The giveaways are always so full of thought and love! A winning basket would just be an added blessing to this Thanksgiving season!

I love to cook.
I do now understand your love for the women you teach your studies to, which includes anyone who does your studies. This is my first year leading the entire group of our study at my church. Of course, I trembled when I committed to lead the Beth Moore study at the campus that I attend of my church. I knew I wasn’t euqipped to do this, but I do know the One who equips those whom He calls. And God has been so faithful this fall as I have led this “sisters loved by God.” These precious women have been so dear to me as they have encouraged me. Most of them didn’t even know that this was the first year I was leading this study. It is always so true that as we seek to bless others, the blessing always comes back to us.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude at God’s Goodness.
