Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

Wow ladies what a wonderful way to bless others at this time with awesome kitchen supplies! I’d do more than slap the table……I’d jump up and down and praise God for the once in a lifetime chance of being blessed by the LPM team! We don’t have those stores in the area I live in.
What a great prize! Thanksgiving is my husband’s favorite holiday. I have worked every Thanksgiving for the past 20 years and he has done all the cooking that day. Boy, he wouldn’t know what to do if “he” won this!

Sister Loved by God, Beth I cannot tell you how much you inspire me. How the Lord moves thru you and His healing over me. Our morning Womens Bilble study just finished Children of the Day and we made Thanksgiving basketa and morning coffee and yummies for the ladies and some gentlemen as well, at the apartment complex next to our church. It was truely a blessing to blesa others.
On July 1st, my husband and I packed our belongings and family (now 2 year old son & 6 month old girl) and headed to a new city for him to begin his new position as a Student Pastor. With no friends or family in our new town, we didn’t have a place to stay, so a generous couple from our church opened their home to us and allowed our family to stay in their guest room until we could find a place to live. After much searching and prayer, we found the home we wanted to purchase, and the waiting period began. We waited and waited. And waited some more. It has been a roller coaster of emotions for both families (all together with 4 kids under 4 in the same house) having to live together, and us not having a place to call our own. Talk about humbling. I attended your simulcast at a local church and broke down during one of the songs – I don’t remember which one it was, but it was stating all the things that God is… one including PROVIDER. I knew that word was for me. I knew I needed to keep waiting on His timing. He would provide. I’m so incredibly thankful to say that we are FINALLY closing on our house in 2 days!!!! The past 4 1/2 months have been quite the trial, but God has been so faithful to grow us and teach us so much during this time. That being said, we will be in our own house in just enough time for me to be able to host some family for a Thanksgiving get together, and I’d be ecstatic to win these items. Thank you for reading!

So my amazing mother, who is also an outgoing pastors wife, was diagnosed 3 years ago with Guillain Barre Syndrome. I, as a nursing student, dropped out of school to care for my darling mom. In this care, I took over her tradition of hosting our big family Thanksgiving tradition and hosted over 25 people for my first Thanksgiving ever! I have done it for the last 3 years during her long, hard recovery. But I am so happy and blessed to say that this year, my momma will be hosting Thanksgiving again for everyone! Praise the Lord!

Hi! Just want to say thank you for being such a blessing! The Lord has surely anointed you and your teachings! I have seen you twice at conferences and completed bible studies of yours. All of these helped prepare and are helping me get thru the hardest thing –the sudden unexpected death of my 25 yo beloved son. Every holiday is hard but trying to do something different as things will never be the same without my son at the table. Thank you again for being a blessing from God.
