Thanksgiving is just days away, Sisters! Since this particular holiday, like no other on our annual calendar, centers almost entirely around a meal, it brings a whole passel of us to the kitchen. So, your friends here at Living Proof thought we would have some fun with you by wrapping up a few fabulous items for the family feast.
We have prepared two identical baskets, enabling us to do a random drawing of TWO WINNERS among the commenters to this post. That’s all you have to do to enter. Just leave one comment and on Thursday morning, we’ll close the comments and draw our two winners and announce their names at the top of this post.
The goodies from these baskets contain items from the two largest kitchen stores in Houston: Williams-Sonoma and Sur la Table. When it comes to cooking, it doesn’t get better than that. [You will see each item in a separate picture so you can get a good look at them.] I so hope the baskets end up in the hands of a couple of women who could really stand to feel a little extra-special right now or perhaps are on such a tight budget that these items would feel like a fantastic splurge. I’m looking today for entries of some women who’d slap the table with joy over ending up with these. You are all so loved and esteemed here at Living Proof and you are valuable beyond price or description to the Kingdom of Christ.

Finishing up Children of the Day at our ladies Thursday morning Bible study. Loved it so very much. I fact, we are purchasing Session 7 download to watch at our couples home group next Sunday evening. We are doing an end times study and the ladies thought it would be a wonderful session to show. My husband and I are going to Chicago for Thanksgiving to see our son (single). Would love to have a basket full of goodies to bring. God Bless all of you at LPM and have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Oh man that would be wonderful if I could win one of those baskets. I am a AOG missionary living in Madagascar but retirement coming up here in a few years and my daughter lives in Dallas, Texas and would be willing to put these things in storage until I come home.

So I only just discovered you have a blog and what would I find on my first visit to it? A post with a giveaway. I can tell Im gonna like this blog, lol! But in all seriousness, this is going to be a very special Thanksgiving for our family. For one thing, unlike last year, my hubby will be home for the holidays as he was deployed last year for 5.5 months. But what makes it the most special, is that my husband is getting out of the Air Force after 10+ years of service and countless deployments and holidays apart and there will never be question as to whether or not we will be together for the holidays again. And this is where you and Living Proof Ministires come in. Your Bible studies have encouraged me and been food for my soul through so many of these difdicult deployments and for that I am forever grateful!!

Thank you for all you do to encourage women. The Living Proof webcast really struck home with me this year. Especially the What Does a Woman of God Look Like. I had a double mastectomy in Feb of this year at 45 years old. While I know my identity as a woman of God has not been changed by this, it was so encouraging to hear the words…God bless you all at Living Proof.
