    This is my 2nd time participating in the SSMT blog with you Beth. Your challenging me to memorize scripture has been so powerful. You have been more that a double blessing to me, especially since 2006 when we moved to a new city. God has provided opportunities for me to study at least 6 of your Bible studies and to attend 2 of your Living Proof Live Conferences. God has revealed himself to me in many ways. God has always been faithful. Both 2011 and 2013 SSMT’s have significantly increased my spiritual growth in reading scriptures, in writing scriptures and in memorizing scripture.

I have been amazed how often the scriptures that I memorized have appeared in other things I have read, or lessons I have studied, or mail I have received! God’s word is active and alive!     The scriptures were a challenge this year as I had decided I would try to get them from the New Testament, in order (one from Matthew, next from Mark, then Luke, etc.). I ended up reading ane re-reading each book several times as each book came up, so it resulted in a lot of Bible study!! Some books just didn’t seem to have a good “memory” verse and I had to skip them, and as you see, I’m back to Matt. but it has been a very rewarding year and I am ready to do it again. Thanks, Beth!

      I love how The Lord used this process to give me a strong message in season . Many times the scripture sustained me in a difficult year . I have seen mountains falls, lava come to me feet annd he saved me .. Not deserved .. But protected loved and a safe . And this process kept me focused on him. And reliance on his word . And then to have bible study too was awesome . Last I got my best friend to do this with me. So it was a joy .
