Update: The comments are now closed! I’ll see you tomorrow morning as we reveal our TEN winners. Have a great day, ladies!
Siestas!
Happy middle-of-the-week to each of you!
It is a beautiful day here in Houston! It’s almost perfect spring weather, which is a compete treat especially compared to the weather we’ve endured recently. It’s either been really hot and humid (shocker!), or really nasty thunderstorms. In fact, yesterday was 100% chance of rain all day and it did just that. The best part about the rainy days at LPM are our shoes; three of us chose to trade in our typical work shoes for rain boots yesterday and it was a cute sight, if I do say so myself. We were giddy. Y’all, it really is the small things. I hope wherever you are, despite your weather or circumstances, you’re able to find delight in something as small as rain boots, silly or small as they may seem.
Anyway, can you believe it’s already been a week since our last giveaway? All of the sudden I realized today was the day to reveal our next fun giveaway so my fingers went to typing. It snuck up on me!
Do y’all remember (and I bet you do because it happened to be a pretty popular post and you also happen to have a sharp memory), when our Siesta Mama asked you to share with each other something really random that you love? That particular day she was gushing over her Bible atlas and felt the urgent need to share with you the joy it brings her. I distinctly remember her telling me she was posting a fun, random blog that day so that I could be watching for comments, and watch for comments I did! Y’all didn’t just come through; y’all went above and beyond with over one thousand comments or something fun like that. We were really tickled! Needless to say, people are passionate about things they love.
To refresh your memory, here is a picture of the Bible atlas.
To make a really long story short (I know, I love words), B&H Publishing Group was really generous and sent us ten Holman Bible Atlases to give away on our blog, just like the one she gushed over! Y’all, how kind was that? So, today not just one, but ten of you will be receiving this amazing Bible atlas.
This is the box of atlases sitting in my office.
For a chance to win here is what you need to do:
1) Make sure your comment has your first and last name.
2) Please comment only one time to give everyone a fair chance.
3) For fun, and you don’t have to do this to win, but it would be really fun to hear, if you could give away one book to anybody, what would it be?
4) Lastly, your comment on this post automatically enters you into this contest. So if you are not interested in winning a Bible atlas, please hold your comments until after the winner is selected. This will help us as we randomly select our winners. Thank you so much!
That’s all ladies! We’ll keep comments open for 24 hours and close the giveaway at 4:00 EST Thursday afternoon.
Also, like I’ve stated before, Australia is 16 hours ahead of Houston time, so when Beth and Amanda wake up it’ll be time to start the second conference. I know for a fact Beth and the team would covet each of your prayers as they labor with joy to teach God’s Word and share His gospel with this next group of ladies. If you’ve been following them on twitter, it’s been obvious that God has blessed their time there. In fact, I saw that they got to feed kangaroos. How fun is that? I’m with you, though, I can’t wait to hear and read all about it upon their return. Let’s pray they end strong in Jesus name!
Alright, ladies, time to hear from you! Be sure to check back Friday morning as I reveal our winners!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I would give away a good study bible, and One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. This book is absolutely beautiful. Her writing explains things that have been on my heart, but have never been able to articulate.
Annie Edmonds
Looks like a fabulous book! I would give away “A Thousand Gifts” by Ann Voskamp.
Margo Laug
Hi Lindsee,
I have recently been reading The Circle Maker. It is a wonderful book on prayer, and I’d love to gift that book to someone. Love it!!!
Thank you for the chance to win!! Have a Blessed day ~~ Dawn Winslow
I would give away “The Shack”. I know that it is a fiction story, but man it really made me think. Sometimes fiction can be easier for an unbeliever to read.
Lindsay Prather
Maria Mukrdechian
The book I would give away is “The Purple Pig and other miracles” by Dick Eastman. Great book on Prayer and what God can do when you say YES to him.
Blessings,
Maria

Sue Brogden – It’s always a blessing to give a Bible to someone.
Linda Horn
GOD CALLING which has been in print for years and has been so instrumental in my devotional life. It is much like JESUS CALLING which is also a book I would give to someone else
If I could give a book away……I am pretty sure it would be Breaking Free by Beth. God also used Neil Anderson’s Bondage Breaker in my life, so either one!! Praying for this ministry!!
I have been eagerly sharing Lisa Terkuerst’s “Made To Crave”. It is amazing!
I love to give Francine Rivers’ book “Redeeming Love”. I love love love it!
Christy Shackelford
It would be so hard to pick just one book, but if I had to choose, I would give every mother I know a copy of Angela Thomas’s book Tender Mercy for a Mother’s Soul. I have read it so many times, and it always speaks a fresh word into my life. I think I would also give everyone a copy of Daily Light, a collection of related Bible verses for every morning and evening. It is my one “go to” devotionals every day, and I love that it is 100% the Word of God – no commentary – just straight out scripture that always seems to relate to what is happening in my life! I love books!!
Ann Voskamp’s 1000 Gifts!!! I want all of my family and friends to read this book:)

Something random I love is Green Smoothies! And the book that I would give away is called Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko. A sweet lady in my bible study gave this book to me a few years ago. In fact, she gave one to everyone in our study! It’s changed my life!
I would give it to my husband
I love to give away Jesus Calling.
Believing God by Beth Moore…absolutely life changing for me!
I would give away the extra one to very dear friend who is starting her first mission project with our team that will be going into prisons through the Kairos Program and Torch. This is her first time reaching outside the body of Christ and ministering to those in the valley. We give HIM the glory!!!
I just finished reading “The Sunflower” by Simon Weisenthal and think every person should read this book to help us not forget what happened to the Jewish people & to hopefully keep us from allowing this to ever happen again to any race. The book poses a very thought provoking question “what would you have done?” in light of an incident that happened to Mr. Weisenthal while imprisoned by the Nazi’s and it gives replies from many people from all faiths, walks of life & perspectives.
So fun! The book I would choose to give away would be “It all goes back in the box ” by John Ortberg. Puts everything into perspective.
Jamy Whitaker
If I could only pick one book to give away, it would have to be the Bible. It contains everything needed. It is hard for many to believe that there are several people, even in American, that do not have a Bible.
Thanks for having another giveaway! It’s fun just to enter and would love to browse through the atlas.
I would give away the book, “Heaven is for Real.” In fact, I have a dear friend’s widow that might need this book! 🙂

Or my mom’s favorite “Stand Back Said the Elephant, I’m Going to Sneeze”
I’m Jody Senna and I always want to give away the book that I’ve been reading most recently! Today I’d give away “Necessary Endings” by Dr. Henry Cloud; but last week I would have given away “The Five Levels of Leadership” by John Maxwell! I also LOVE any Jan Karon books!
What I Know About My God by Mardi Collier. Tremendously helpful during a very rough season in the life of our family!

I would a book to my daughter-in-law, Terri. She was not a christian when she first came into our lives but by the mercy of God she is now. She is growing in her faith and it is such a blessing to watch.
Zara Perciful
Hi Lindsee! That atlas is so awesome! I moved over here to South Korea (which means I’m closer to Beth and Amanda’s time right now!), so shipping would be a mess, but my parents live in Texas and could hold the atlas for me until I get home next year. :):)
And, hands down, the book I’ve given away the most is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. I give away a few every year to believers and non-believers alike!
Thank you for the opportunity to enter!

Thanks for the another giveaway opportunity. I have passed on my Beth Moore Get Out of That Pit and So Long Insecurity. I love books and can’t stand that someone might not have the opportunity to read what they want.
Heidi McClain
To select ONE book that I would give away is really hard to choose. But I suppose it would have to be “The Divine Romance” by Gene Edwards. It just says it all and in such a beautiful way.
It would have to be Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers.
Sharon Brumfield
I would like to give the book The Kneeling Christian by An Unknown Christian. It is an old book that had a big impact on me and worth reading over and over.

Megan Petronella – I think I would share it with my husband. He is a Biblical Studies major and this could really help him finish up his degree. 🙂
I would probably give away Beth’s “So Long, Insecurity” book!
Lindsey Fescoe
I would give away the book “Fasting” by Jentezen Franklin.
This book shows us the necessity and command from our Lord and Saviour about fasting and how we tend to overlook this.Totally scriptural and Jentezen is my second favorite right under Beth !!!
Hmmm…I know who I would want to give a book to, but narrowing it down to just one is hard. 🙂 I have a friend who is just now starting the road to recovery after acknowledging some tough trauma. I would love to get her a book to help her remember that she is a precious child of the King. Maybe You’re Already Amazing or So Long Insecurity.
One book to give away to a friend…? So Long Insecurity, You’ve been a BAD friend!
