Update: The comments are now closed! I’ll see you tomorrow morning as we reveal our TEN winners. Have a great day, ladies!
Siestas!
Happy middle-of-the-week to each of you!
It is a beautiful day here in Houston! It’s almost perfect spring weather, which is a compete treat especially compared to the weather we’ve endured recently. It’s either been really hot and humid (shocker!), or really nasty thunderstorms. In fact, yesterday was 100% chance of rain all day and it did just that. The best part about the rainy days at LPM are our shoes; three of us chose to trade in our typical work shoes for rain boots yesterday and it was a cute sight, if I do say so myself. We were giddy. Y’all, it really is the small things. I hope wherever you are, despite your weather or circumstances, you’re able to find delight in something as small as rain boots, silly or small as they may seem.
Anyway, can you believe it’s already been a week since our last giveaway? All of the sudden I realized today was the day to reveal our next fun giveaway so my fingers went to typing. It snuck up on me!
Do y’all remember (and I bet you do because it happened to be a pretty popular post and you also happen to have a sharp memory), when our Siesta Mama asked you to share with each other something really random that you love? That particular day she was gushing over her Bible atlas and felt the urgent need to share with you the joy it brings her. I distinctly remember her telling me she was posting a fun, random blog that day so that I could be watching for comments, and watch for comments I did! Y’all didn’t just come through; y’all went above and beyond with over one thousand comments or something fun like that. We were really tickled! Needless to say, people are passionate about things they love.
To refresh your memory, here is a picture of the Bible atlas.
To make a really long story short (I know, I love words), B&H Publishing Group was really generous and sent us ten Holman Bible Atlases to give away on our blog, just like the one she gushed over! Y’all, how kind was that? So, today not just one, but ten of you will be receiving this amazing Bible atlas.
This is the box of atlases sitting in my office.
For a chance to win here is what you need to do:
1) Make sure your comment has your first and last name.
2) Please comment only one time to give everyone a fair chance.
3) For fun, and you don’t have to do this to win, but it would be really fun to hear, if you could give away one book to anybody, what would it be?
4) Lastly, your comment on this post automatically enters you into this contest. So if you are not interested in winning a Bible atlas, please hold your comments until after the winner is selected. This will help us as we randomly select our winners. Thank you so much!
That’s all ladies! We’ll keep comments open for 24 hours and close the giveaway at 4:00 EST Thursday afternoon.
Also, like I’ve stated before, Australia is 16 hours ahead of Houston time, so when Beth and Amanda wake up it’ll be time to start the second conference. I know for a fact Beth and the team would covet each of your prayers as they labor with joy to teach God’s Word and share His gospel with this next group of ladies. If you’ve been following them on twitter, it’s been obvious that God has blessed their time there. In fact, I saw that they got to feed kangaroos. How fun is that? I’m with you, though, I can’t wait to hear and read all about it upon their return. Let’s pray they end strong in Jesus name!
Alright, ladies, time to hear from you! Be sure to check back Friday morning as I reveal our winners!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Too hard to pick one! But I’ve given away a lot of “Same Kind of Different As Me,” and lately I’ve loved giving Ann Voskamp’s “One Thousand Gifts” – such beautiful writing & walk in the true meaning of service & humility as God sees it.

My Utmost for His Highest
Of course the Bible would be the first book I’d give away. But if not that, Jesus Calling is my new favorite book.
Diane Rullestad
Susan Gray, Saranac Lake, NY. I don’t know which book I would give away. I have many I love, so I will say Lord of the Rings, but I would have to replace them.
I would give the book “Destined to Reign” by Joseph Prince to any and everyone. This book is like hearing the gospel of grace all over again. A must read for anyone who needs a refreshment of true grace.
I would give away Safely Home by Randy Alcorn. That book opened my eyes to the lost world around me. God forgive me for wasting so much time.
Gayle Dowell
One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp.

Right now, I would give away One Thousand Gifts by Anne Voskamp…great read on gratitude. She writes like my heart knows…I can’t put it down!
I actually have a New Testament along with a copy of More Than a Carpenter, that I am giving to a dear friends husband who is ill.
I’m such a reader that one book is REALLY hard! I have a tie! i have given both of these as gifts because they have meant so much to me.
1. A Gift From The Sea- Anne Morrow Lindbergh
2. A Thousand Gifts – Ann Voskamp
Enjoy!
Would love a Bible atlas. The book I would give away would be “When God writes your love story”.
Wow, this is my first time commenting here! I’ve been silently part of the group for several months now, after my sister told me about all the fun ya’ll are having on here! But this time I couldn’t give up the chance to throw my name in the hat for a Bible Atlas – that would be so great! There are way too many books to choose from, but I’ve been telling my girlfriends that “So Long, Insecurity” is a MUST READ so I’m gonna go with that one! (I’m not trying to be a goody-two shoes by saying that – I honestly tell my friends to read it!)
The “BIBLE ATLAS” would help in Sunday School and VBS. The book I would give away would be “WHISPERING IN GOD’S EAR”.
1,000 Gifts by Ann Voskamp
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
Traveling Mercies by Anne Lamontt
Crazy Love by Francis Chan
So many to choose from but those are a few favorites for sure!
I would love to win this atlas, I don’t have anything like this!
It is so hard to pick just one book but I think it would be the devotional “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young..
God Bless
Oh goodness I forgot to leave my full name in the body of the comment,
Kellie Lindstrom
Just one book???!!! Of course the Bible is absolutely first — no other book will ever come close! But Jan Karon’s Mitford and Father Tim series is a great place to go before bed. It immerses you in the life of a godly small town priest and all the people in his world. Delightful and inspiring!! Blessings on your trip and ministering, Beth and team!!!
Hugs, Susie Miller
Jesus Calling
The Bible Atlas would enhance our home education experience with my daughter and grandchildren!
I would give away a copy of “To Kill A Mockingbird” to someone. It says so much about American/justice and the good in all of us! Sheila
There are too many great books I want to share to pick only one.
Love this! So hard to choose a favorite book but I would give away Lit: living christs character from the inside out. By: David Edwards. I really love it and especially enjoyed it in college!
~Rachel Williams
Lana Bartos
Crazy Love by Francis Chan
I love love love the book One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. Highly recommend it!!
If I were asked to give away a book that helped me more than any other, it would be “Growing Deep” by Chuck Swindoll; and I have given several copies to seeking friends and family.
Wow! I would love to win a copy of the Holman Atlas Bible.
Talk about bringing Scripture to life. I’m imagining…holding it in my hands….seeing the maps….of where it all happened….right before my eyes. Oh my heart!! 🙂
I can’t help but imagine inviting my teen son and daughter…to sit together and turn the pages with me…
It could only deepen their faith as it stirred their minds and hearts.
If I could give away one book…I’d have to say
it would be the Bible.
Love you ….SO much! 🙂
I would totally give away Ann Voskamp’s One Thousand Gifts.
Julie Torbert – next to the Bible I would give the book Boundaries. Great book to find personal freedom and set healthy boundaries in every relationship. God bless you Beth as you set out to win hearts for Jesus across the world.
Jesus Calling
7 by Jen Hatmaker.
Just read it. Messed with my brain/heart/soul/being. Everybody needs it!!!
I was just talking about this book tonight: “Redeeming Love”. Melts my heart every time!
Lauren Schulze
im so excited for an opportunity to receive one of these! i would love to share it with my 4 little boys ,who are just bursting with Bible curiosity! Thanks!
Brandy Hunt
I would give a copy of both the Bible and Reedeming Love, by Francine Rivers, to my cousin who feels like redemption isnt attainable.
Heaven is For Real! It’s a great book.
My name is Lora Mullen. The book I would give away would be a Bible to someone in a country where it is illegal to own one. It is those Christian’s who truly appreciate the Bible and don’t leave it in the car or on the hallway table for week gathering dust like so many in America do. We have no idea how blessed we are to openly worship Jesus Christ.
Redeeming love is just a classic read, I would give that away in a heartbeat!
I would give away Scared by Tom Davis. I would love to give all his books away. They are all such good reads and through fiction shine the light on Africa and Russia.
I would love to win a Bible atlas. The Francine Rivers trilogy Voice in the Wind,
Echo in the Darkness, and Sure as the Dawn is an excellent set of novels. The Lord revealed some very important truths to me through these books.
Hmmm… Any book besides the bible? I don’t know the recipient but might say The Hiding Place.
Lisa Bowden.
One book I would give away to anyone, anyone at all:
The Velveteen Rabbit
(because Love makes us real)
the book i most love to give away is The Red Sea Rules. it rocks. uh..er… i mean, it rules.
Jackie Harris
I would give away “Jesus Calling” – it was given to me and I have given at least 4 away since then!
Besides the Bible, I love to give away Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. It is one of the best books to help “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” 2 Cor. 10:5 Dana Ray
