It is encouraging to memorize Scripture and see that others are doing it with you. I was blessed to be able to do this in 2017 and I look forward to continue studying the Word of God.

O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Psalm 34:8 NASV
I’ve tried memorizing scripture before but have never stuck with it. This year I have been more determined to stay true to it and I am so blessed to realize it can be done! And I did it! This has been a difficult year for me as I have been caring for my elderly father and on Dec, 1 he passed away into glory. So I have found myself leaning into the Lord and His word more and more and He has been my anchor through it all. Thank you Jesus that when we seek you we are comforted, strengthened, lifted up and we are able to obtain that peace that surpasses all understanding! Thank you for giving me this last year with my father and the chance to really get to know him better. It’s all for You Lord. In Jesus name Amen

I had my verse written in my book; I forgot to post it:

Jeremiah 23:29 NIV
This was an amazing challenge. Thank you everyone for encouraging all of us to this.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wondeful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgement and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV Thank you Beth, and your team, for continuing the Siesta Scripture Memory every other year. It has been a blessing, absolutely loved being a part of this. The first year of memorization is still just as fresh in my mind and heart as the current year. The first few years of Scriptures were chosen by me, this year, The Lord has given me every Scripture and has put me in AWE every time at how the exact Scripture was for such a time as this in my life. His Word never comes back void and is always perfect for where He has me while in this tent of a body! Looking forward to memorizing with you all in 2019!

Wives be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. (NASB)
It has been a comfort to watch Beth’s videos and to read other ladies’ notes. My husband has received news that they are outsourcing his department to another company to handle the work. The ending date for his job is in 2018 or 2019. The waiting tests us. What to do – he studies for a different job within the company and see if there will be a job or just get a job now when we pick the time! Thank you everyone!

I forgot to mention why this time it meant so much for me to accomplish this. I started this in 2015 and dropped out mid way through when my sweet daddy went to be with the Lord. I always regretted not sticking with it through that season. Thank you so much for all you. You are and have been always a blessing to me.
