Bible Study, Anyone?

Good Thursday morning, ladies!

We pray all is well with you and yours this day.

Originally, we had the thought to post this on Monday, but then the big Winter Storm of 2014 blew in and kind of threw our system off kilter. We ended up posting information about Bible study instead, and the next day we hunkered down at our respective homes while the ice and snow barely reached the ground on Tuesday. Needless to say, things unexpected and unplanned for ended up swirling and here we are and it’s Thursday and I was not going to let this post go to waste.

If she comes to mind, you wouldn’t waste a prayer on Beth, or any of her family or LPM as she is preparing simultaneously for multiple teaching opportunities. Ones that have been on the calendar for well over a year, but the time is now so she’s neck deep in preparartion. I know I don’t have to tell you that she is one of the hardest workers I know which in return blesses us. We’re so grateful for your prayers and support. We love y’all so much.

So, onto Bible study! We usually don’t wait until nearly the end of January to hear from you about Bible study, but it’s better late than never, right?

Inquiring minds want to know, what Bible study are you digging into this semester? As we’ve mentioned here a few times, we just launched our Tuesday night Bible study titled: Breath: The Life of God in Us, but we want to know what you are up to?

How about we do this, tell us your name, your city and your Bible study of choice and if you’re going at it solo or with a group or leading or attending. There are countless studies out there today, so do not feel one ounce of pressure (and please do not hear us saying) that we only want to know if you’re doing a “Beth Moore” Bible study. It is our joy to hear all the different authors you are studying under!

We even want to hear from you if what you’re committed to this semester, or this year, is reading through the Bible in one year. That’s big, B I G, and we want to cheer you on and walk alongside you. Sometimes we’re not committed to something until we speak it out loud or write it down for someone else to see. A little accountability never hurt anyone!

To make it fun, I’ll go ahead and post my answer in the comments! I miss doing that!

This is short and sweet but we’ll look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for sharing this! Wow is this needed for the 54 million or so women like us! GOD FORGIVES and we can live with a clear conscious not bc we were not guilty but bc He took our punishment and cancelled our debt and has forgiven us! Moses, David and Paul were forgiven too. MERCY TRIUMPHS! CHRIST’s BLOOD is on the mercy seat in Heaven and HIS resurrection power rescued us from the death we deserve as sinners…all of us not just post abortion women! JESUS HEALS with MERCY!

    Heather Flowers says:

Good morning! I am currently studying “Jesus the One and Only” by Beth Moore and teaching the lessons to the Ladies Sunday School class at my church. I have returned to college to obtain a degree in Education so that I can teach school. I struggle terribly with Algebra, Geometry, Trig and Calculus…(I cannot simply say I’m bad at math–because any math that involves the alphabet is definitely not math.) Anyway; I’m taking a math course called “Math for Teachers II”. It is impossibly hard! I was literally in tears on Tuesday over my lack of understanding. I was ready to give up–not just on the math course but on going back to college all together. I talked myself in to dropping my classes, going back to my previous job and taking the easy road. I cried out to the Lord to show me His will.
Today the lesson in JESUS was from the latter part of Luke 4. Jesus could have easily stayed right where He was and healed the people and ministered to a small group, but He kept his mind on the goal–the Good News was/is for ALL, not just the easy-to-reach few.
I rejoiced reading those words! It would be easy for me to continue my photography business, comfortable even…but there will be an infinite about of ministry opportunities
when I begin teaching at a school! Jesus’ example showed me what He wants from me. He did not quit, nor can I. CAN YOU HEAR MY JOY?!
The Study of God’s Word is where I find my lifeline, my encouragement, my hope. This is my 6th Beth Moore study, and I pray she is inspired by the Holy Spirit to produce enough studies for me to do until I see Jesus! xoxoxo

I am facilitating the morning session of our Women’s Bible Study at St. Luke in Gahanna, Ohio. We are getting deep into Believing God and what a blessing! I had done it 8 years ago and it is THE study of my life. The one that really GOT me. I am so happy to be doing it again. I need to be believing God right now for a miracle. So cool to be doing it with first timers including my daughter. It is awesome to see God work in them as they BELIEVE God for the miracle in their own lives.

Well, I have two separate things going on at the moment; both through my church. Via our TRBC App, we have a MyTime devotional link which provides a scripture reading for the day accompanied by one brief application/question page. If completed daily, we’ll have read through the entire Old Testament by year’s end. The second thing is our Women’s Ministry Tuesday Bible study; we complete a different study each semester, and the author varies from semester to semester. It just so happens that we started Beth’s Sacred Secrets Bible study this very week. So excited to embark on a new study!! ๐Ÿ™‚
