Good Thursday morning, ladies!
We pray all is well with you and yours this day.
Originally, we had the thought to post this on Monday, but then the big Winter Storm of 2014 blew in and kind of threw our system off kilter. We ended up posting information about Bible study instead, and the next day we hunkered down at our respective homes while the ice and snow barely reached the ground on Tuesday. Needless to say, things unexpected and unplanned for ended up swirling and here we are and it’s Thursday and I was not going to let this post go to waste.
If she comes to mind, you wouldn’t waste a prayer on Beth, or any of her family or LPM as she is preparing simultaneously for multiple teaching opportunities. Ones that have been on the calendar for well over a year, but the time is now so she’s neck deep in preparartion. I know I don’t have to tell you that she is one of the hardest workers I know which in return blesses us. We’re so grateful for your prayers and support. We love y’all so much.
So, onto Bible study! We usually don’t wait until nearly the end of January to hear from you about Bible study, but it’s better late than never, right?
Inquiring minds want to know, what Bible study are you digging into this semester? As we’ve mentioned here a few times, we just launched our Tuesday night Bible study titled: Breath: The Life of God in Us, but we want to know what you are up to?
How about we do this, tell us your name, your city and your Bible study of choice and if you’re going at it solo or with a group or leading or attending. There are countless studies out there today, so do not feel one ounce of pressure (and please do not hear us saying) that we only want to know if you’re doing a “Beth Moore” Bible study. It is our joy to hear all the different authors you are studying under!
We even want to hear from you if what you’re committed to this semester, or this year, is reading through the Bible in one year. That’s big, B I G, and we want to cheer you on and walk alongside you. Sometimes we’re not committed to something until we speak it out loud or write it down for someone else to see. A little accountability never hurt anyone!
To make it fun, I’ll go ahead and post my answer in the comments! I miss doing that!
This is short and sweet but we’ll look forward to hearing from you!
A small group of wonderful ladies are reading and using the DVD’s as we work through the book, “The Circle Maker” by Mark Batterson.
We are already full of anticipation of what God is going to do.
My study group just started today 2/4 beloved disciple. This is my fourth study by Beth and I already am excited for next Tuesday to come.
Carol, Farmers Branch, TX
In a women’s Bible Study group on Tuesday nights in Plano, TX, we are just beginning a study of “Stronger” by Angela Thomas. Looking forward to this.
Loving Well by Beth Moore solo. I have downloaded the video messages.
I tried to read through the Chronological Bible last year, but got behind. I am still working on it this year.
I am leading a Precept Upon Precept study on Genesis this year. Wow! The twelve ladies are mostly mature Christian women who have read and studied the Bible for years but this inductive study method makes God’s Word come alive and leap into our hearts. In my private study I am reading the Chronological Bible through in a year and Jesus Calling.
Thanks for the great SSMT event. I felt so loved up!! Making memories has always been important to me so it was great to dig deep into memory meanings. Thanks to all the LPM team!!

Christ: The Life of Christ- The Basis of Faith by Johnny Derouen. Doing it with my whole youth group. It’s about the prophesies about Christ and when they were fulfilled. So amazing!! Already in our fifth week and it’s 48 weeks long!
I am doing Beth’s “James, Mercy Triumphs” study with a small group in someone’s home. I wasn’t too excited about doing the Book of James, but Beth, again, has made studying even this book exciting…and convicting. =)

Have just completed James: Mercy Triumphs over Judgment
I am going to be starting the Nehemiah (a heart that can break) study by Kelly Minter about the last week of February, and I’ll probably be doing it in a solo experience.
I also have challenged myself to read through the Bible 4 times this year. I did it last year, but felt really rushed so I wrote up a different Bible plan and am planning on following that. ๐

I’m studying Gideon by Priscilla Shirer this semester in our Women’s Bible Study. I did the study this past summer and it was wonderful, so I’m looking forward to what new things God has for me this time around.
I’m continuing to commit the book of James to memory.
Bethany, Detroit. Hinds’ Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard (co-leading at church. 15 beautiful women in this group.)
We are leading a wonderful Bible Study written by Atlanta Women’s Community Bible Study (WCBS) founder Nancy McGuirk called “To Live is Christ – a Study of Philippians”. We have covered sessions on evangelism, entrance into fellowship, encouragement through trials, humility, and eternal perspective. Today’s lessons was about endurance – we are loving it!
One of our offerings this winter is Lord, Change My Attitude by James MacDonald. We have about 70 women taking this study. We offer a day class and an evening class. This is defiantly a life changing study that I would highly recommend! You really dig into the scriptures and are challenged to change bad attitudes for God pleasing ones. This group loves a Beth Moore study so it’s difficult to find something that is as meaty and appealing and this one is more than fitting the bill. I love Beth too but there is “life after Beth” when it comes to Bible studies… At least that is what I am trying to convince these gals. Blessings!

Praying for a diverse, ecumenical, intergenerational group of women.
Our small group is finishing up a wonderful new Bible study on the book of Philippians by Nancy McGuirk called To Live is Christ. Nancy McGuirk founded Women’s Community Bible Study (WCBS) in Atlanta over two decades ago. Today more than 500 women meet weekly to study, pray and grow in Christ at WCBS. Nancy has also authored a number of other study materials.
This 8 week study includes a workbook with 5 days of homework per week, with the 5th day being a summary of the week’s lesson. There is a twenty-minute teaching video for each of the 8 sessions. This could easily adapt to a 16-week study which is what we did at WCBS.
The reason I liked this study so much is that it is so scripturally based and provides excellent learning points and life application questions. I am a facilitator for our group and it has been a very in depth and rewarding study for all of us as we grow in our relationship to and love for Christ! You can check out the study at http://www.wcbsonline.org! It is an awesome study!
I have choir rehearsal on Wednesday nights when our ladies’ Bible studies are taught, so I usually go solo on my Bible studies. I did “Breaking Free” when it first came out, and now finishing the updated version. Really loving it – again. Next is “Stronger” by Angela Thomas.Looking forward to it!
First, our bible study ladies LOVE Beth Moore bible studies! She has been such an inspiration. The Lord has called several of our leaders to step-out to teach original bible study lessons. He is moving in such mighty ways, calling us out to be the women he created us to be. It is so exciting to see His Spirit move among all of the women around Foursquare Church. To God be the Glory! 1Peter 2:9

Monday night home study David video by Beth Moore. Saturday at Panera David 90 days yep the big thick boon book.
Facilitating Beth’s Patriarchs….and to think 4 1/2 years ago I didn’t know whether the Israelites were the good guys or the bad guys! And now, I’m facilitating!!! Our God is AMAZING! Did Breaking Free and God released me from a stronghold that I’d had for YEARS. Satan still tries to worm his way back in, so I keep that study guide close at hand. Have had the opportunity to see Beth at 2 LPL events. Life changing.
We have been studying the Fresh Life Series in our group. The study we are currently doing is called Live Faithfully. A study in the book of James. There are many different topics in these series and they are written by Lenya Heitzig and Penny Rose. It is a 20 minute a day study. God has really been growing our group through our time together.
Redfield, AR
I started Beth’s book “Whispers of Hope — 10 week Devotional Prayer on January 1st. I am doing it by myself. I enjoy it very much!
On day 22 (Jan 22), Beth talked about ‘waiting on the Lord’s timing’ –John 7:6, which the Holy Spirit used for specific direction for me that day.
I look forward to each day’s reading.
At Grace United Methodist Church in Albion PA we are finishing the study on One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp.
Our Pastor Han will be concluding his study on Galatians. No study book just bring your Bible. We are asked to read the chapter ahead of time, review any commentary/reference and come to class with a question or what spoke to you from that chapter.
Scheduled for February 16 is To Live Is Christ- The Life and Ministry of Paul. We have between 15 to 20 people participate depending on the time of year.
I’m finishing Stronger by Angela Thomas and I’m going to start Lisa Harper’s Hebrews today while the snow and sleet rains down and my office is closed.
We have a small group of ladies in Plano, Tx doing Beth’s “Here and Now…There and Then.” We are doing it in our dear friends’ homes and we are loving it. I am also going to try to complete reading the Bible this year. (Again!) I always fall behind when trying to do a study at the same time or if I pick up a book. Just not enough hours in a day with a job and a second-grader!

Hello there,
God laid it on my heart a few weeks back to start a young adult ladies bible study in my home. I’ve done ‘experienced’ ladies ( ha ha) bible studies, but this new venture into 20 somethings is a new path for me.
We will be starting the Believing God series on 2/10. Every Monday evening for 10 weeks. I’m very excited! Can’t wait to see what God has in store.
We have about 10 young ladies coming so far. And I have a dear friend that’s going to help me mentor/Titus 2 these young gals.
Would soo appreciate the prayers!
Blessings!!

Just finished “Esther” Beth Moore with a group of ladies from our church and a group that meet at the YMCA, I help team lead and have been so blessed by the women we serve(both 2 times monthly on Thursday and Saturday.) Our next study will be “Gideon” Priscilla Shirer, which I did last summer with you all and know what a wonderful study this is. On Sunday evenings I join a small group of ladies at one of my dear friends church, it has been a wonderful way to keep in touch and be challenged by the Lord at the same time. We started “Living Beyond Yourself” Beth Moore 3 weeks ago. It also is a wonderful study and I am being blessed in more ways than I can say ๐
I’m doing The Patriarchs with our women’s Bible study at church in Hilliard, Ohio. ๐ loving it!!
Beverly, Michigan, I’m part of a group that just started Priscilla Shirer’s Gideon study. Excited to get into it!!
Beverly, Michigan, I’m part of a group that just started Priscilla Shirer’s Gideon study. So far so awesome!!
Here in Minerva, NY (way upstate) we are in our third week of the updated A Woman’s Heart. We are so blessed to have this updated study for the current generation of young women in our home Bible Study. We are in our fourth year of hosting a Beth Moore study in our home way up here in the Adirondack Mountains. I can’t tell you how excited we all are for these video lessons and the incredible homework available to us. Many times we feel isolated, with few of the magnificent resources the rest of the US enjoys–but not when we have Beth Moore. We praise God for Living Proof Ministries.
Our Tuesday morning Ladies small group of 18 are into Breaking Free by Beth Moore. We listened to lesson 4 this morning and now on to the homework.
James, Mercy Triumphs, by Beth Moore ๐ I am doing it solo. I had been invited by a sweet lady to participate with her group, but I just couldn’t attend on a regular basis. However, I felt a tug on my heart to learn James from Beth, because she can drive it home to my heart like none other. So I am going solo, and am enjoying my time with just my Lord and me! <3
I’m studying Beloved Disciple (Beth Moore) with 10 ladies. My husband and I just finished reading through the Bible for the second time and we started on our third. It takes us about 3 years each time. My husband and I attend a Bible Study that is designed by the leader. He’s discovering how the Leviticus 23 Feasts provide a framework for the gospels, specifically in John’s writings. He spends a lot of time in Genesis, presenting the framework for Messiah and the gospels. We are in Kenosha/Racine, Wisconsin
Barb-Prescott Valley-studying with a group of ladies at church (Grace Baptist, Chino Valley, AZ). Studying “Come & Behold Him-Fresh Glimpses into the Life of Christ: A study of the names of Jesus” by Jill Rhodes.
Last night was incredible! I felt as if God gave this message to Beth just for me! At one point she stood directly in front of me where I sat on the second row and pointed her finger. I have been toying with a writing project for a year. Some days I’ve done well and other days I just didn’t get it together to accomplish much. I have needed discipline and focus. I needed to just obey what God was telling me to do. I begin anew today. I will invite the Holy Spirit to hover over the chaos and turn it into the work God wants from me, to bring things to my mind I would not think of on my own. I will entrust myself to God to fulfill the plans He has made for me. And I will purposefully deny the voice of the enemy when he tells me, “You will never be good enough.” “You are too old.” Thank you sister for speaking life and truth to me.
I am going through “Beloved Disciple” on my own. I am just on the week of the Holy Spirit, and it is such a great lesson! Thanks again, Beth, for your obedience to Christ in your life and ministry! Love ya’ll!
