LOVE THE APP!!! Just got an Ipad for work/travel and was a little disappointed because it doesn’t have an app (that I can find) for some things I was hoping it would do like letting me watch this video on it. Well, you just made up for that and then some! Thanks Sabrina for working so hard to make this happen. I loved seeing/meeting you in this video. Jesus in you shines through with the wisdom and love of a servant leader. And thanks Beth for all you do. Bless you both!! Clap, clap, clap.
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:12
Beth,
Just a quick note to let you know that you inspired me with the video! I DO have several bibles sitting on my shelf that someone else could use…one is BRAND NEW and one has been loved…but is still in good enough condition to be a blessing to someone! I bought myself a new bible a couple of years ago and have been somewhat skittish about actually delving into it…the old familiar one is always better! I’m challenging myself not only with the memory verses but to dive into my new bible and bless others with the old ones!
THANKS for making me think about that!!!
Hugs!
Donna
Well I don’t have an iphone or an ipad. But the app. gave me the idea to keep in in my phone by way of the notepad function I have and use often. Thanks for the idea.
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” Psalm 100:4 (NIV)

Beth & Sabrina,
Is there any way that there could be an app for the Android system type phones or tablets? That’s my type of electronic device and I’m sure that there are others out there, as well. Thanks for all you do for us!
Mame, I’m with you. I’d love an Android app version. But like others on here, I will just use the notepad function on my phone to keep them handy for now. Thanks for that idea.
my second verse is Romans 15:13A “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,”
I’m SO loving the Siesta App!!! I was a Siesta a couple of years ago (or last year, I can’t remember when:) but things got too busy and I stopped sometime in the year. This year a friend from church challenged her blog readers to join in the 2011 Siesta memory verse with her and I’m diving in. I am so excited about the app as I’ve been setting reminders on my phone for each morning at 8am (might be a good addition to your app:) and adding my verse into my iphone notes so this app will at least cover that part. I’m SO excited…Love you Siesta’s!!!
Oh ps. I’m in St. Louis, MO and My last verse was {NIV} Ex 14:13 and this verse is Heb 4:12…woo hoo – God Rocks!!!
We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield.
Psalm 33:20 (NLT)
My second verse is:
” Knowing (this), that the trying of your faith
worketh patience.”

Will an Android app be forthcoming?
My mom got the app. She says thank you.
“Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders You have done. The things You planned for us no one can recount to You; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.” Psalm 40:5 NIV
I downloaded the app as I finished watching the video! I’ve entered my first and second verses already. I love it! Thank you all at Living Proof for your unending love and devotion.
My second verse is:
Humble yourselves (and myself) under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you (and me) up in due time. Cast all your (and my)anxiety on Him because He cares for you (and me).
1 Peter 5: 6-7 NIV

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. No man can serve both God and money.

Beth Collins, Lake Jackson, (2 Cor. 10:3-5)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warefare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (NKJV)

Luke 11:28 “Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (NIV)
this is a note to Beth,
Beth I want to thank you for your faithful ministry and diligent bible study. You have walked with me, on video and in my texts through some very difficult times. I want to thank you how these bible studies had been a support and encouragment.
I have lost two husbands to death by the time I was 43. It has been devastating. but my faithful sisters and study or the word with you and on my own have been my strong tower to which I have run and still run many times. I remember once you said Keith prays for the single women, That was such an encouragment to me to be cared about in prayer from someone who does not know me. The body of Christ is so amamzing.
thank you thank you for walking with me through the valley of the shadow of death until I could see the light again. God is good, Jesus is so near and dear.

Ok…This is so cool!! I carry my spiral with me everywhere. But…I also carry my iPhone everywhere. Wonderful tool to have.
” Teach me your way oh Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart that I may fear your name” Psalm 86:11
Hello Miss Beth and Siestaville,
I’ve been a “siesta” for years, but I’ve been more of a “silent” siesta for the past year and a half becuase of a hard pregnancy and then the steep learning curve of learning to be a new mamma! I usually read your posts but havent commented in the longest time.
I did want to just say that I am excited to join up for the SMT,eventhough I am a couple of weeks late (hope that is ok!) As it happened I was memorizing scripture this month anyway, so I had onedone for begninning of January that I will go back and add to that post.
Got the App, thanks ladies its great! God bless you all!
Beth and Sabrina,

God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:6-7 (NIV)
How exciting! I found this app before you actually started posting anything on it so I thought there was something wrong and deleted it. My shameful lack of faith I have to admit. I just got my computer back from months of trouble with it and the first thing I did was look up Living Proof. I have missed ya’ll so much. I am late starting but I am catching up on the Scripture memory asap and just re-installed the app. Looking forward to growing in the Word this year.
Memory Verse #1 – Be still and know that I am God…Psalm 46:10…..In the hustel and bustle of the holidays, this verse spoke to me….be still….know that i am God….he is the same yesterday, today and always!
I plan to memorize the first chapter of James
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV
Love it!
