Hey, Darling Things!
With great joy the Living Proof Live team and I hit the road again for our 2011 dates starting next weekend and we are revved up and ready to jump on anything with wings. Over the last eighteen months I’ve tried so hard to make some wise changes to my (almost literally) back-breaking schedule. One of the biggest alterations is that we decided not to launch the LPL travel schedule until the end of our Tuesday night series so that I wouldn’t be trying to juggle sixteen gillion things at once. It was a really great decision and I have never enjoyed my Tuesday night group more. They’ve gotten to be the chief focus at LPM for weeks and I will be so sad to see the series end. The only downside to the decision is that I have been off the road for longer than usual and away from my beloved praise team and LifeWay event team. We are all really good buddies so we are itching to be together again and do what God has called us to do. I got to have Travis and Angela and part of the team for a great Tuesday night here in Houston or I wouldn’t have made it but I haven’t laid eyes on the rest of group since the first week of December. I’ve missed them so much.
We are BESIDE OURSELVES to start our 2011 schedule in the Great Northwest. We will hit Tacoma next Friday, March 11th, as one very happy group of Jesus freaks. (My printed calendar actually said Seattle but God knew!) God began speaking to me just three days ago about the subject matter. In fact, I have a white envelope that I keep in my car console for blotting my lipstick (it wasn’t premeditated) and God startedĀ pressing on my heart so strongly about that event that I pulled it out at the stop light and started jotting down themes right there between four shades of pink. Michelle saw it when she was helping me get all manner of stuff out of the car and made a funny face. I said kind of sheepishly, “Notes for Washington.” She grinned and said, “I get it, Ma’am.” I love it when God starts shedding light on the messages because that’s when I know for certain – for absolute certain – that He scheduled the event and it wasn’t we. Lord, have mercy. That’s our worst nightmare. Nothing like showing up and He doesn’t. That’s when you know you missed something.
So, Tacoma first.
Then we break April open with a trip to Fresno, California on the 1st and 2nd. We love us some California! We are looking forward to a whole lot of Jesus, some gorgeous weather, great worship, lots of Bible study (please, Lord), and at least two rounds (and probably two pounds) of In-N-Out Burger. Seattle-country makes me think coffee. California makes me think Animal Style Fries. I have some great friends coming to that one that I’ll get to see afterward. (I am no fun in advance. Too intense. You never have to worry whether or not we take our jobs seriously. There is considerable angst involved. But afterward, if we’ve had time to catch our breath and get something in our stomachs, we are free to laugh our heads off and rejoice in God’s grace.)
THEN, we head to Little Rock. Back home to Arkansas. Both of my sisters will be at this one. So will some of our childhood friends. More than anything, I want to meet Jesus there. Just where I first met Him many years ago. My heart is especially tender toward this one as those rolling hills draw my soul. I think about it almost every day.
So, it’s almost time to pull out the LPL suitcase again and I’m just weird enough to be glad. It’s been so good to have a nice long season at home and I will definitely do it again next year. But somewhere in the distance I hear a voice saying, “Please make sure that all carry-on items are stowed either in an overhead compartment or completely beneath the seat in front of you. If you are seated in an emergency exit row, please read the information on the passenger safety card which is located in the seat back pocket in front of you. If you do not meet the criteria for seating in this row, or if you do not wish toĀ assist in an emergency (you lame gnat), let a crew member know and we will be happy to re-seat you. Prior to departure from the gate all cell-phones must be turned off and stowed. Once again, we welcome you on board.”
Ah, yes. And that’s when I shoot out my last text to AJ and Lis and try to power down before I get in trouble.
I’m so hoping to see some of you Siestas in one of those three great cities. Anybody planning to head either direction? Even if these events are way off your radar,Ā I’d give just about anything if you’d take a moment and pray for our 2011 Living Proof Live events. It would make a world of difference. Oh, man, we so want to honor God and give Him great glory and spread the fame of Jesus Christ. We want to keep learning and keep growing and keep seeking and keep finding, alongside every woman He sends our way. We have nothing without Him. Not one thing. If we quench Him, we’re croutons. Please pray for our hearts to be pure and our egos to be small and for our God to be huge and make His praise glorious.
I love you guys.
I would love to come…but it’s too far away for me š I live in New England, would you come this way Beth??!! Prayers for you and your Living Proof team! Studying The Patriarchs right now….AMAZING! Our God is ans AWESOME God!!! Thank you for your faithfulness to the body of Christ.

Beth,
On the DFW news last night it was announced that In and Out Burgers are coming to Texas. The new restaurant will be in Garland, but apparently they are having to build a new meat processing facility so that the chain can stay true to form. So if that is true there could be more more locations open in TX in the future. Thought you might find it interesting.

Means jobs…Praise God!!
We are so very excited for your arrival for the Conference in Tacoma (20 miles south of Seattle) I am very glad to hear that God is with you on this tour and looking forward to hearing what you have to say to us in Washington!
Praying that we will receive all that Jesus has for us and Expect Big Things!

Beth, I just prayed for your 2011 events. We’re using your Loving Well material at a conference we’ve planned here in South Korea. Thank you for creating the kit, it’s powerful material that I’m so excited to share with the 60 plus ladies that are attending today. God is an awesome God and I know He’s going to show up today.
… wish you were tapping your way to Portland Oregon. š
Beth you cracked me up, glad you support the home town carrier (CO) that I have worked for 33 years! I am thrilled GOD speaks through you, always knew he had a good sense of humor. I will miss Tuesday nights badly until you return in the fall, but I know the rest of the 50 states, loves you and needs to hear God precious words as much as your Houston Girls! We all will be knealing beside you and the LPM staff on your trek across the US. Your Ladies are such a blessing to us all! Sabrina said that to me last week, but it is so tremendious what you mighty little women can pull together. Giving all the Glory to heavenly Father. Bless his holy name. With Love, Linda
Beth,
Wish I could be in Tacoma with you all, but will be praying for you, your team and all the women God brings there.
At certain times of the year, there is a stench that rises from the Tacoma Port, affectionately, called ‘The Tacoma aroma’.
My prayer is that you will bring the AROMA OF CHRIST to the Tacoma Dome, on March 11, that will spread from there to Fresno, Little Rock and the rest of the tour.
Thank you for your faithfulness,
Nitsa
AMEN!!
Know what I’m looking forward to the most? The recap videos. It’s just a little taste of Heaven on this side of eternity, so to all who are involved in the process of making and posting those videos, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Blessings to all of you,
Patti
Yay Beth! I have to tell you that about this time EVERY year I get SO excited… My little church always does one of your studies each summer and we begin to chat about which one in the early spring. I have some WONDERFUL friends of all walks and ages who I get to connect with to carpool and study His Word with and I JUST CAN’T WAIT! We also have a yearly outing to one of the LPM events and ours is just around the corner. The “Babes and the Broads” (don’t ask) will be joining you in Lincoln in June and in the study of David all summer long. (Can I stand on my chair and shout “YEEHAW!”?) And on another note-I used to live in CA…my mouth is watering just thinking about a double double animal style. Whenever we get back to the state In-and-Out is on the TOP of our list! Yumm-o! Enjoy one for me Beth! Or how about overnight FedEX delivery?
I pray the crushing weigh of His love come down upon you and lives and families be transformed. Love, love, love that Father has divine appointments that will change one woman’s life forever (if not thousands). From Texas, we will be praying for you, Beth, your team and all the blessed people to be there.
ps. Have an In and Out Burger for me, my favorite too…heard they are getting one near Dallas!
Beth – reading your blog today and then getting an email to pray for your upcoming May event here in Mpls has fired me up! I am on my knees for you today! I plan to pray for all those involved – worship team, planning committee, volunteers, attendees, etc. – but today it was just for you.
May God bless you, Beth. May His hand of protection hover over you as you move about the country. May your ears tune in to His voice alone and block out all other distractions. May the Holy Spirit flow in you and through you, so that you are overflowing with His love, His peace, His joy.
Expect nothing less than amazing things from our amazing God!
Dearest Beth,
My dear friend and bible study partner,(we are curently doing “Living Beyong Yourself”) Madeline and I are heading down to LR (just 2 hours away for us)on the 25th. Can’t wait! Looking forward to wonderful girl time with my BFF, some great Bible teaching from our favorite Bible Study leader Beth Moore, and some even better Jesus time. We are praying for the Lord’s special annointing. See you there.
Your sister in Christ and Siesta…
We cannot WAIT till you are in Fresno CA…! I have my bags packed, room reserved, and my “worshipping” shoes on (There’s no SITTING for this gal while Travis and team are leading us into the throne room of the most High GOD!!), my Bibles (Thank you Jesus for large print Bible and IPhone Bible App, amen?) and my pencil/pen/and highlighter ready to start jotting all that God is laying heavy on my heart thru His passionate servant Beth…a.k.a. Siesta Momma! Is it April yet, no seriously is it??? BTW…I’m an IN N OUT fan(atic)…animal style cheeseburger, Tea-Aid (1/2 lemonade & 1/2 Ice Tea – don’t call it an Arnold Palmer or you’ll have to owe him..lol), and fries – well done and smothered in cheese…. uh oh…craving setting in…my In N Out less than a mile from my home….um…see ya. (ok, we cannot wait to SEE YA In Fresno in less than a month – praying for you and LPL team as God uses you in a mighty way in Tacoma…sip some coffee for us Californians!)
See you in Seattle,
Brandi from Roseburg, OR
Janice – Topeka, KS NKJV Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
I have heard about In-n-Out burgers from several people. My family is planning a trip to Arizona, so I looked it up and there is an In-n-Out on our way. My husband looked at me kind of wierd when he saw that I had included it on our itinerary. I just told him, “See Beth even says they’re good.” Looking forward to it! Happy travels, Sweet Siesta Mama and company!
I will be joining you in Fresno!! I can’t wait! I am bringing 13 of my ladies with me! I saw on the In-N-Out website that they are building 3 new stores in the Dallas area!! So ready for the Word that God lays on your heart and ready to lift up his name in Worship with Travis!! I’m sure we will be stopping for some Peet’s coffee!!!
P.S. I did stop by In-N-Out last Thursday….couldn’t help myself!!

Hi Siestas,
I have been reading for sometime and just wanted to reach out. God lead me here, I understand why…I need beautiful women like you in my life. I pray for you all. Love much!

Psalm 91:4
Love to you, Beth. Praying for all your events this year. In God’s time, I’ll be at one. I just appreciate you and your sincerity so much. Feel like you are a part of the family. I’m glad to be a Siesta.
My sister and niece will be there to hear Beth speak! I pray that hearts will be receptive to what God has put on her heart and lives will be changed for eternity! I ask for healing between my sister and her daughter, that it will done and not return! Jesus is always the answer and the light upon this dark world! Go rock Tacoma!!!
Beth your comment about the carry on luggage reminded me of the old Carmen CD which I recently dug out and put on my ipod! R.O.I.T. (Righteous Invasion of Truth) He does a song where he starts out as the captain of a plane and well it’s hilarious! My prayers are with you and your team as you head out for ministry. I travel with New Life Ministries (Steve Arterburn and co.) and know too well the feeling of doing a jillion and one things at once but knowing how many people need to hear the Word of God and the testimony of the believers!
May God be glorified in Living Proof Ministries!
actually R.I.O.T. LOL!
Praying for you!! <3
Beth, enjoyed seeing you in Memphis and thrilled to see you in LR along side my Mom in law, dearest friends and a huge group of amazing women there to worship and hear the Lord! He is working all around us and excited to see what God has planned. Thank you Beth for being obedient to Him and His plan for you! HUGS!!!
My mom, sister and I are coming to Tacoma next week! SO EXCITED!!!!!! Beth Moore AND a sleepover!
Beth, I can’t wait for LPL in Arkansas. A small group from Pottsville First Baptist traveled to Memphis for our very first LPL and we were blown away. I still have the vision in my head of you on stage…without your shoes…you said your feet were hurting!…and you got on your knees, practically face down on that platform everytime you prayed. It humbled me. With love and prayers, Dawn Edgell (1 hour away from Little Rock!!!)
dawn, you commented on another post of mine & i just realized i didn’t reply. woops, sorry! to answer your question, no i won’t be at the conference you asked about but i WILL be at LPL in little rock! i’m excited!!!
Beth, I am getting so excited! I can’t wait until April 1st!! See you in Fresno š I’ve never seen you live.
Hey Siestas going to LPL in Arkansas, I am going to see if I can get a t-shirt made to match the cover of my SSMT spiral…that way you will know I am a fellow siesta…anyone interested in doing the same?
i am!
Wahoooooo!! COunting the days until the whole team is in Fresno, Beth! I’ve never been to a live event with you, so I’m quite stoked to get to go. Believin big time that our Lord has something powerful to say to us gals in California. :>
Can’t say as I join you all in the In – N- Out passion! The best burgers I’ve had were found right in your home state…South Lake, Texas. But the place shut down a few years ago! Biggest and juiciest burgers, shakes and rings I ever tasted!
Happy to be praying for the upcoming events, not just Fresno!
May your socks be blown off as well, Beth.
Little Monkey’s Mama
Also, just a shout out to your series Beth on J. Robison’s show…Faith, Focus, Fire, and Finish. I got on the internet and looked up sticks of dynamite. I then drew copies of it and labeled each one as you discussed!
Quite a powerful visual aid for busting apart those strongholds!!
Lil’ Monky’s Mama
Being a Nashville area girl means that every visit to my sister’s in Phoenix must absolutely, positively include a stop at In ‘n Out. I usually buy a T-shirt for whatever offspring of mine may not have accompanied me. They’ve turned out to be quite a novelty here. The T-shirts, not my offspring.
Honored to lift you all up in prayer. May the Lord speak, comfort, encourage, challenge and grow each of you as He has me so many times before.
Croutons? I’m confused. Perhaps the wording got smeared with the lipstick on the envelope. No worries. Lettuce try to avoid becoming those though.
Looking forward to seeing you in Tacoma, Beth! In fact, all of us in the great PNW are looking forward to seeing you!
However, my usual LPL friends are all busy for the weekend with other events or traveling so I am going solo.
Anticipating what the Lord has to teach me.
Thank you for your ministry!
Corinne in Chehalis, Washington
Hi Corinne,
That’s awesome that you’re willing to come solo! You are more than welcome to join our group. I think I’m the only Siesta in the group, so we can be instant sisters!

Dear Beth, I love you, you’re the best, I love your enthusiasm for God and it is such a great inspiration to me. I love God, I would not want to navigate life without him! He is SO good! Praise HIM!

of our loving, merciful, and gracious Heavenly Father.
“If we quench Him we are croutons” Love that! What a classic! Can’t wait till you head south.
I would LOVE to attend one of your LPM event but I have never seen one scheduled here in Texas. Do you ever have them here? Praying for you during this season of traveling.
Will be praying for you all….Safe Travels! Come to BOISE, Idaho sometime! PLEASE!
I am so excited you are coming to Fresno! Our hearts have been eager since we bought the tickets in October! We will be praying for your tour and will see you at the conference ( or In and Out !)
Your thoughts should be wholly directed to all that is true, all that deserves respect, all that is honest, pure, admirable, decent, virtuous, or worth of praise.
Phil.4:8 NAB
We can’t wait to see you in Little Rock. There are 12 of us coming together – from late 20’s to early 80’s!!!
Oh Beth~
My heart is beating out of my chest. I live in Tacoma, WA! I moved back home after my 17 year old daughter (my only child) was killed in a tragic car accident in Corpus Christi, TX. in November 2009. The Lord scooped my up and has cradled me in His arms since that day…it is ONLY through His grace and mercy that I live on without my angel, Brittney. Much of his comfort for me has been delivered directly through your messages. And now…he is bringing you to my own back yard!!! God is good; I am buying a ticket today!! See you at the Tacoma Dome!
My neighbor and I will see you in FRESNO! We are driving up from San Diego, just like we did a few years ago when you visited Fresno. I think I remember you saying it was the first time you’d been able to sleep during a LPL event–sweet sleep in Fresno! Can’t WAIT to sit at God’s feet and hear what He has to say…will be praying for you and all the team!
Just wanted to say THANKS for hitting the road. We look forward each year to drive and find you and your p/w band. Not because of you – of course – but b/c of what God does through you all. We are so thankful that you hit the road for us not livin’ in the south.
SAFE travels and many blessings for your team and those you are called to teach. You are amazing and we love you.
Prayin’ in the Park
The little girl sat crying
In the park one sunny day
Her fragile voice had asked meā¦
Sir;ā¦..do you have time to play?ā
I asked: ā¦āwhat is it your needing?ā
and;ā¦ are you here all alone?
She said āmay parents are not with meā
And; āitās to sad when Iām at homeā
I told her not to worry
And things would be just fineā¦..
Through her tears saidā I donāt think soā
Iāve been here; a real long time
My parents are divorcing
And all they ever say
Thereās so many problems
And they donāt have time to play
Well surely they donāt mean it
Itās all the sadness that life brings
And adults, we just donāt realize
What really are, important things
The little girl was startled
And said mister donāt you see?
No one cares Iām cryingā¦ā¦
And no one plays with me
The other kids donāt like me
They say Iām stupid and Iām dumb
And they donāt want me playing
Orā¦.. to join in on their fun
I understood her problem
For I had been there too
I smiled and said donāt worry
And ‘I will pray for you’
Her saddened eyes looked up at me
So confused by what Iād said
I could see that she was wondering
If I meant āplayā with her instead
No, Iām just gong to talk to God
And tell him what you say
And that āI for one agree with youā:
You need a friend to play
Thank you sir; thatās very nice
And can we ask him tooā¦.
If my parents even miss me?
And if theyāll play with me? Like you!
You can ask God anything!
andā¦..HE is your friend too:
Itās just like playing make believeā¦.
and, Heāll play along with you
All the time? She was surprised
Even when Iām at my home?
Especially there He loves to play
ā¦with kids that are alone
I canāt wait to tell my mommy
About a new friend that is mine
And my daddy needs a buddy
Because they’re sad…all the time
I know that they will listen
And believeā¦if they play too:
they wonāt be so angry
when they know: I prayed with youā
About that time a man showed up
and said; āthatās all the fun todayā
say goodbye to your new friends….
thereās no more time for play
she hugged me and said mister
ā¦if itās okay with you
Iāll just keep on praying
Until others can play too
With perspective of a child
That Iād never saw before
Just what is it weāre playing?
If there isnāt prayer no more?
As I sat there thinking
In the world, now all I see
If this is what itās come toā¦..
Will someone pray with me?
-Kaptain Obvious
I am asking that you take a look at the link on facebook for an event called: How Many Good Samaritans Can I Find in 1 Month?
It is an amazing quest of a young youth pastor and his youth group reaching out in every way they know how to raise $425,000 for a missionary pilot in need of a liver transplant.
Would you consider looking at this page and pray about what God would have you and your organization do?
Thanks so much for your time and effort for the Lord.
