Hey, Darling Things!
With great joy the Living Proof Live team and I hit the road again for our 2011 dates starting next weekend and we are revved up and ready to jump on anything with wings. Over the last eighteen months I’ve tried so hard to make some wise changes to my (almost literally) back-breaking schedule. One of the biggest alterations is that we decided not to launch the LPL travel schedule until the end of our Tuesday night series so that I wouldn’t be trying to juggle sixteen gillion things at once. It was a really great decision and I have never enjoyed my Tuesday night group more. They’ve gotten to be the chief focus at LPM for weeks and I will be so sad to see the series end. The only downside to the decision is that I have been off the road for longer than usual and away from my beloved praise team and LifeWay event team. We are all really good buddies so we are itching to be together again and do what God has called us to do. I got to have Travis and Angela and part of the team for a great Tuesday night here in Houston or I wouldn’t have made it but I haven’t laid eyes on the rest of group since the first week of December. I’ve missed them so much.
We are BESIDE OURSELVES to start our 2011 schedule in the Great Northwest. We will hit Tacoma next Friday, March 11th, as one very happy group of Jesus freaks. (My printed calendar actually said Seattle but God knew!) God began speaking to me just three days ago about the subject matter. In fact, I have a white envelope that I keep in my car console for blotting my lipstick (it wasn’t premeditated) and God startedΒ pressing on my heart so strongly about that event that I pulled it out at the stop light and started jotting down themes right there between four shades of pink. Michelle saw it when she was helping me get all manner of stuff out of the car and made a funny face. I said kind of sheepishly, “Notes for Washington.” She grinned and said, “I get it, Ma’am.” I love it when God starts shedding light on the messages because that’s when I know for certain – for absolute certain – that He scheduled the event and it wasn’t we. Lord, have mercy. That’s our worst nightmare. Nothing like showing up and He doesn’t. That’s when you know you missed something.
So, Tacoma first.
Then we break April open with a trip to Fresno, California on the 1st and 2nd. We love us some California! We are looking forward to a whole lot of Jesus, some gorgeous weather, great worship, lots of Bible study (please, Lord), and at least two rounds (and probably two pounds) of In-N-Out Burger. Seattle-country makes me think coffee. California makes me think Animal Style Fries. I have some great friends coming to that one that I’ll get to see afterward. (I am no fun in advance. Too intense. You never have to worry whether or not we take our jobs seriously. There is considerable angst involved. But afterward, if we’ve had time to catch our breath and get something in our stomachs, we are free to laugh our heads off and rejoice in God’s grace.)
THEN, we head to Little Rock. Back home to Arkansas. Both of my sisters will be at this one. So will some of our childhood friends. More than anything, I want to meet Jesus there. Just where I first met Him many years ago. My heart is especially tender toward this one as those rolling hills draw my soul. I think about it almost every day.
So, it’s almost time to pull out the LPL suitcase again and I’m just weird enough to be glad. It’s been so good to have a nice long season at home and I will definitely do it again next year. But somewhere in the distance I hear a voice saying, “Please make sure that all carry-on items are stowed either in an overhead compartment or completely beneath the seat in front of you. If you are seated in an emergency exit row, please read the information on the passenger safety card which is located in the seat back pocket in front of you. If you do not meet the criteria for seating in this row, or if you do not wish toΒ assist in an emergency (you lame gnat), let a crew member know and we will be happy to re-seat you. Prior to departure from the gate all cell-phones must be turned off and stowed. Once again, we welcome you on board.”
Ah, yes. And that’s when I shoot out my last text to AJ and Lis and try to power down before I get in trouble.
I’m so hoping to see some of you Siestas in one of those three great cities. Anybody planning to head either direction? Even if these events are way off your radar,Β I’d give just about anything if you’d take a moment and pray for our 2011 Living Proof Live events. It would make a world of difference. Oh, man, we so want to honor God and give Him great glory and spread the fame of Jesus Christ. We want to keep learning and keep growing and keep seeking and keep finding, alongside every woman He sends our way. We have nothing without Him. Not one thing. If we quench Him, we’re croutons. Please pray for our hearts to be pure and our egos to be small and for our God to be huge and make His praise glorious.
I love you guys.
This Siesta will be in Seattle! Can’t wait to see you!!! About this time last year I was asking on this blog if you would ever be coming to the Seattle area and now you are! The best thing is, now two of my girlfriends and co-missionaries in Papua New Guinea are here on furloug right now too so we are all going to go together! Seems like it was just the other day we were all “Believing God” together with you in PNG. Can’t wait to see you at the Tacoma Dome Mama Beth! I’ll be praying for you and waiting to hear what God has laid on your heart to share with us all. Thank you for coming to share with us! We can’t wait to see you!
Safe travels wild woman! Remember to take a brush in your carry on just in case…….
Ohh my heart just melts when I hear the words spoken about my beloved “Pacific Northwest!”
Have a great tour, wish I was “back home,” but praying that you guys are blessed, and that others are strengthened because of this conference!

A mentor and big sister I never had. LOVE her!!! Anyway, we are currently going through Breaking Free together and are growing everyday through it. We will finish our bible study right about the time we come to Little Rock. I can’t wait!!! I am so excited!!!

I would love to see you this November in Casper, Wy.
November 5th will be our 17 year anniversary.
I think I will ask my man if he would be up for that.
Love to you,
Celeste
Praying for fabulous hair ;)) & double portion fresh anointing for each event. I have pondered Fresno but as of yet can not see a way financially. Praying for a miracle. I was blessed to see you in Irvine and even got a picture made with you. My unimaginable dream of a lifetime come true.
We are in the middle of David. Siesta Mama you knocked this one into the stratosphere. I have done every one of your studies still David holds a special place in my heart.
Blessings~
Beth, This has been an incredible series here in Houston. I have been at each and every one this session which has meant the world to me. I’ve been able to bring two beautiful women from my work to several and one of those, I’ve was privileged to purchase her first bible when she attended the last session with me. It’s been a beautiful, difficult, convicting study. A study that has really changed my heart. I FINALLY, finally, FINALLY understand why the heart must change. Oh, how I have had a true revelation from God. I feel HE touched me personally on this one. He told me (not out loud, like you like to say), but while I was riding in the elevator…just as clear as it was out loud. I heard “David, a man after God’s own heart”. It HIT me. Always, I have wondered, why was David so egocentric that he wanted to have God’s heart? I thought the verse meant that he wanted God’s love, He wanted God to himself..I just never understood it. NOW God revealed to me that David was after God’s own heart so that he could love LIKE God, to be God’s image. Oh, Beth, Imago Dei ~
What a ride, what a life ~ God bless you and your team on your trip and KNOW your siestas will be praying you through and keeping you uplifted.
Love,
Cathy or @team_stewart6
Beth! Welcome to Little Rock!!!
WE ARE BESIDE OURSELVES that God would do a great stirring of his spirit here and we’re privledged to be his servants. We are praying for God to not fill seats- but fill HEARTS!
We’re prayer walking the arena on Sunday, March 13th! Lifting you, Travis & the team up–to the glory of his great name!!!

Hi Beth,
My mom and I will be at the Tacoma event. I’m so happy she is going. The first time she was “introduced” to you was at a simulcast, When it was over she said you talked to fast and she couldn’t keep up, she blamed it on her age π Well since then she has been in involved in one of your bible studies and has become a big fan. She is so excited. I’ve been to several of your events and have told her all about it. We will see you in Tacoma!!
I’m going to Tacoma!!! Yipee!! Unless God decides that I need to be there on Friday I am planning on going only on Saturday. It’s only a couple of hours away but I have a sweet little 5 month old boy who refuses to take a bottle. Only mama will do. Hard to argue with that :). I am excited to hear what God has for all of us!!
Oh, in case that sounds like my little guy will go without food while I am gone on Saturday – worry not! He will be very happy to have his beloved rice cereal (he really likes to eat!). Didn’t want you to think that I would starve him. I do love you, but, no.
Oh, my goodness! One of my best friends and I have had our tickets for Little Rock conference since the minute I found out. Those little bracelets have been in the family Bible (yeah, we still have one of those huge white with gold embossing copies)literally for MONTHS! I think we got the last not-break-our-budget-and-go-hungry hotel room in downtown LR! Not the Peabody, but the shuttle runs from Quality Inn just as well! Can’t wait to SEE you in person and hear the teaching that God has given you for us! Love you so much and am keeping you prayed up! Oh, and I am being so blessed by memorizing scriptures with many other “Siestas.” God bless you and keep you “real good.”
Diana
I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited about you coming to LITTLE ROCK!! We’ve got a huge family and lots of us girls are coming!!! My daughter goes to Ouachita in Arkadelphia and whenever I’m visiting, we always look for the movie theater that your dad owned. We don’t even know if it’s still standing, but we look for fun. SO glad you’re coming to your home state!! YAY!!!! π
Heather, it’s there on Main Street – between Eddie Clark’s and Dino’s Main Street Cafe. π

Oh, I got so excited when I saw Little Rock in your blog title that I forgot to say that we are PRAYING!! Our church had a prayer dessert last month and there’s another prayer event coming up!! There are MANY people praying here in Little Rock!!!
Dude. I’ve been counting down to Fresno for like a Y-E-A-R!!! When I pressed “purchase” to buy the ticket, my eyes welled up with tears. I can barely write about it without squeeling out loud. I know it’s gonna be almost more bomb than we can handle. God’s so gonna bring it! (say “SO gonna bring it” with a twitch of the head and attitude in your voice & you’ll fit right in to the Ca valley. In fact, u should practice. We wanna see u do that in Fresno, k?)ξ
Wish I could have a chance to hug your neck in Fresno. Love You!
We’ll see you in Fresno! My girlfriends and I saw you in Denver, last year, at Deeper Still and we are SO excited to attend our first Living Proof Live event! We love you Beth!
I’m so excited for the Little Rock stop π I will be there, soaking it all in, with one of my very best friends who has never been to one of the Lifeway events. SO excited to share this with her and even more excited to see what fresh word Jesus has for me there.
1.) If anyone wants to go to Fresno but doesn’t have a friend going with them, I would LOOOOOOVE to meet & sit with you! I really wanna meet other Siestas!
2.) If anyone wants to bust out & Zumba together at any point during the weeked, I would LOVE to bring the music & teach a class. No, really. How fun would that be!?!? Siesta Zumba!!! Dancing in praise of what God’s teaching us! Just pack some sweats & tennis!
Either interest you? Tell me!
[email protected]
I could go for some Siesta Zumba… sadly, I’m too far away. But I think it would be a blessed blast! =)
Awww. I wish u weren’t too far away! How fun it would be to get a big ol’ dance party going!!!! Are u sure u don’t wanna fly out for the weekend?:)
A group of us will be in Little Rock from Jonesboro.
I’m praying that you and all in ministry with you will be mightily clothed in strength and dignity!
I am flying into Tacoma from Portland (maybe I’ll bump into you at the airport;-) for the LPL event next weekend! My dearest friend lives in Seattle, and we have been planning this girl’s weekend ever since the LPL schedule was announced! It has been like waiting for Christmas. We call ourselves the Hula Maidens, as we traveled to Hawaii together over 10 years ago when we were both going through some seriously hard times, and needed a break. On behalf of the hula maiden’s, thank you for coming to the northwest, and blessing us with a word from God, and an awesome time of praise.
Beth,
You have been such an incredible inspiration and a blessing on my journey with Christ, almost two years now. I have completed Breaking Free, Esther, and To Live is Christ and look forward to many more. The Lord has transformed me and shown me so much with the help of what you do in His name. I will be in Fresno with some girlfriends of mine and we are so jazzed about it. Can’t wait!!!
Thank you the work you do in Christ and for being so real!
My prayers are with you and your team as you all prepare, travel, and work these upcoming LPL events.

My heart is just filled with excitement! This is my first time attending a Living Proof Live event and cannot wait to see you in Tacoma with my bible study gals. Thank you Beth for allowing our glorious Lord to work through you! I have now done your Esther, Daniel and David studies and my relationship with the Lord has never been better. Many thanks!! I just can’t wait to hear you speak next weekend and find out what the Lord has put upon your heart. I am praying for you and your team!! May our Lord pour his spirit upon us all!
I. AM. NOT. A. CROUTON!!!
Fully drenched in HIM!
Melana π
Laughing! I had a similar impression.
Can’t make west of the Mississippi, but hope to see you in Charlotte in July!! I’ll be praying for you all!
Christina and I were so blessed (literally) in Spokane and can’t wait to see you in Seattle! Thank you for putting your heart into your ministry. Praying for you!
I’ll be at the one in Fresno and I can’t wait! I’m blessed because the weekend before, I’m going on my church women’s retreat. I’m going to get two big doses of girl time and Jesus back to back! π
And I’m with you on the In-N-Out! I have one 10-15 minutes away and sometimes that seems too far! ha ha! π
I’m so thrilled and thankful that I will be coming to the Tacoma event (from Seattle) along with a few of the women in my small group (at Emerald City Bible Fellowship). Can’t wait. Deep, deep thanks to you for serving God by serving us. I am praying for you and your beloved team, and we can’t wait to welcome you all to the northwest (rainy this time of year, but beautiful nonetheless).
Will be attending my first-ever LPL in Tacoma this year with my BFF and some other Bible study ladies and am SO EXCITED! Just found out that my military husband is leaving for possibly a YEAR in the middle east the following day, but he’s still given me his blessing to go. There’s not much other than my very first Beth Moore event that would persuade me to leave him for 24 of our final 48 hours together, but I feel like I NEED to be there to get through the next year. Can’t wait to hear all about what’s on that lipstick-covered napkin Miss Beth! And if I see you, can I hug you? π
jen, praying God will so bless you & fill your heart with strength & hope during your time at LPL!!!
Thank you Tracey! I’ll take all the prayers I can get! Hugs to you!
I’m going to LPL Fresno, my first LPL event. I live in Los Angeles, but I have a lot of family in Fresno. I have officially invited all the women in my family that live in Fresno, but so far just a friend is joining me. I am very excited!
Cannot wait to see you in Tacoma next weekend with my sweetest siesta ~ theharbormom! A few of us are hitting the Leadership event Thurs/Friday and will see you at the Dome! We also have a room reserved at The Spaghetti Factory for lunch afterward on Saturday to “laugh our heads off and rejoice in God’s grace.” You are welcome to join us!!
Praying for the Holy Spirit to infuse you with just the right message … and to bring those women who need to hear it ~ He will be faithful to fill your mouth. Can’t wait to hear what He has to say. Safe travels!
Hi Beth,
Looking forward to seeing you “live” in Fresno. Last year it was by satelite but as always God had Fresno moving and shaking! Safe travels.
Six of us will be driving down to Little Rock from First Baptist, Forsyth, MO. We’ve been looking forward to this trip for a while now.
Praying for you, the team, and the ears that hear the Word a fresh and new as only you can deliver it Beth. It is such a privilege to be a part of the Siesta-hood and connect to your ministry with hearts of prayer and praise..I hope you especially enjoy the sunshine in California..it has been a cold winter, but spring is coming to remind us of resurrection.
Be blessed….I know everyone who hears his word through your lips will be:)
Beth, I love you because not only are you so spiritual and wise, but also a girly girl and you share that. Makes me identify with you more!
Praying that you and the LPL team will be a blessing to everyone you come in contact with, and for safety as you travel. God will definitely be in the house!! Since I am in Indiana I won’t be making these events however I am so excited to be attending the Deeper Still event in Louisville, KY with some of my favorite sisters in Christ in June..woohoo!! May God not only bless those you bless but your team as well! Fly High with Christ!!!!
oh beth, our wednes. nite study group, we call ourselves the Bible beauties, have had our tickets now since mid-january for fresno and, since then, have been praying that God prepares you in a mighty way to speak through you. wow, what a great run-on sentence. anyway we are sooooo excited to see you in a month we can hardly stand it. we will just be finishing up “a woman’s heart, God’s home”. every study we do of yours we keep saying is the best. your studies always challenge and entice us to stay in The Word. we love it. thank you and God bless you.
I am so excited to see you in September. I have told my whole study group (We are in “David” the new revised “A heart like His”
I know it’s not until Sept 30th but I already purchased my ticket and will be booking my room soon!
You are an inspiration, your way of speaking to us is truthful yet with love and such conviction!
I look forward to our Tues Bible Study groups just to get with my dear sisters in Christ and talk about the weeks homework and watch the video. I’ll be even more excited to see you in person! Enjoy and have wonderful safe travels!
I’m going to TRY to make it to Little Rock. Distance isn’t the issue with me. Russellville’s only 1.5 hours away on I-40 West–such an easy trip! But, girl, I’m a CPA, and you’re coming on APRIL 15-16!!! What was God thinking???? I’m hoping to maybe work half a day on Friday and head that way. (On the other hand, maybe He’s got it all under control. Doesn’t He always??) April 15 & 16 MIGHT be do-able. Every weekend before that would absolutely be out of the question. Hope to be there!
Will be seeing you in Little Rock. You met my friend Beverley. She be there too.
Can’t wait!
I am prayng for you all.
Sending up prayers from ATL. I got tears in my eyes thinking of the precious women whose lives will be transformed by Christ through your ministry! I wonder how excited Heaven gets before these events? π
No LPL events close to me this year, but I have tickets for Deeper Still in Louisville in June. So, looking forward to that event.. I believe it is the last one. Will be praying for you and your team in the coming weeks and months.
I’m feeling just a bit jealous, knowing your travels will not bring you anywhere near Michigan. I had the joy of being in attendance at your visit to Grand Rapids: wonderful worship; memorable message; glorious music (I’m especially touched by the acappella moments… all those beautiful women’s voices led by Travis!).
In the meantime, I’m in a women’s Bible study that is plowing through your studies and loving it – AND working on my scripture memorization!
Prayers will continue for you and your team, and all the lives you will touch! Keep up the awesome work you do!
Then Moses said to him, βIf your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.” (Exodus 33:15) …. Praying for you and the LPL team, Beth. Praying His presence goes before you to prepare the way and with you the entire time. May He be glorified.
Planning to see you in Charlotte! Can’t wait.
Oh, God bless you. How exciting to me, to have the privilege of seeing behind the scenes in your ministry as you bring us along for the ride on this blog. You make us all feel as though we were part of the team–cheerleaders!
I remember when you came to Canada last year, how blessed I felt when the bus pulled into the Ricoh Coliseum. I thought of all the work that had gone into getting you guys there, and the prayers and all the sacrifices we would never know about, and knew that God had ordained it all just for us… just for me. π
‘Thank you’ can seem like such a surface thing to say over cyber space, so I pray this comes across with a Divine kiss of gratitude and a tangible touch of the Father’s warm embrace.
Praying….!
This is one time I wish I lived on the West Coast!! π I will be praying for these events and I believe the impact will be HUGE! This blog has already blessed me so much, as I can get a “behind the scenes” look at the ministry of LPM. Your ministry has had such an amazing impact on my life in the past 10 years and so many others around me. My husband and 3 sons have been blessed as well, as I continue to grow in Christ’s love and grace. I just started the David study – 2nd time around (1st time was in early 2000’s and Beth had much bigger hair!!) π π π Gorgeous woman inside & out, as always. I met a girl on Saturday that told me I remind her of Beth Moore – this compliment humbled me (I think she was referring more to my hair style), but I want to be a woman who is defined by her love for Jesus Christ. May God continue to RICHLY BLESS your ministry!
In Christ’s love,
Michelle from Indiana
I, too, am coming back home to Arkansas to get a word from God through you all..or since it is Arkansas let’s say YA’LL! I’m bringing my BFF to see where I grew up and first served Jesus. I even get to stay at my in-laws, Praise Jesus, in NLR! Thank you for scheduling the this event…I need to go home and hear from Him in that place and to see Him completely redeem some stuff in my past that was not His plan but He now can use!
