Hey, Darling Things!
With great joy the Living Proof Live team and I hit the road again for our 2011 dates starting next weekend and we are revved up and ready to jump on anything with wings. Over the last eighteen months I’ve tried so hard to make some wise changes to my (almost literally) back-breaking schedule. One of the biggest alterations is that we decided not to launch the LPL travel schedule until the end of our Tuesday night series so that I wouldn’t be trying to juggle sixteen gillion things at once. It was a really great decision and I have never enjoyed my Tuesday night group more. They’ve gotten to be the chief focus at LPM for weeks and I will be so sad to see the series end. The only downside to the decision is that I have been off the road for longer than usual and away from my beloved praise team and LifeWay event team. We are all really good buddies so we are itching to be together again and do what God has called us to do. I got to have Travis and Angela and part of the team for a great Tuesday night here in Houston or I wouldn’t have made it but I haven’t laid eyes on the rest of group since the first week of December. I’ve missed them so much.
We are BESIDE OURSELVES to start our 2011 schedule in the Great Northwest. We will hit Tacoma next Friday, March 11th, as one very happy group of Jesus freaks. (My printed calendar actually said Seattle but God knew!) God began speaking to me just three days ago about the subject matter. In fact, I have a white envelope that I keep in my car console for blotting my lipstick (it wasn’t premeditated) and God started pressing on my heart so strongly about that event that I pulled it out at the stop light and started jotting down themes right there between four shades of pink. Michelle saw it when she was helping me get all manner of stuff out of the car and made a funny face. I said kind of sheepishly, “Notes for Washington.” She grinned and said, “I get it, Ma’am.” I love it when God starts shedding light on the messages because that’s when I know for certain – for absolute certain – that He scheduled the event and it wasn’t we. Lord, have mercy. That’s our worst nightmare. Nothing like showing up and He doesn’t. That’s when you know you missed something.
So, Tacoma first.
Then we break April open with a trip to Fresno, California on the 1st and 2nd. We love us some California! We are looking forward to a whole lot of Jesus, some gorgeous weather, great worship, lots of Bible study (please, Lord), and at least two rounds (and probably two pounds) of In-N-Out Burger. Seattle-country makes me think coffee. California makes me think Animal Style Fries. I have some great friends coming to that one that I’ll get to see afterward. (I am no fun in advance. Too intense. You never have to worry whether or not we take our jobs seriously. There is considerable angst involved. But afterward, if we’ve had time to catch our breath and get something in our stomachs, we are free to laugh our heads off and rejoice in God’s grace.)
THEN, we head to Little Rock. Back home to Arkansas. Both of my sisters will be at this one. So will some of our childhood friends. More than anything, I want to meet Jesus there. Just where I first met Him many years ago. My heart is especially tender toward this one as those rolling hills draw my soul. I think about it almost every day.
So, it’s almost time to pull out the LPL suitcase again and I’m just weird enough to be glad. It’s been so good to have a nice long season at home and I will definitely do it again next year. But somewhere in the distance I hear a voice saying, “Please make sure that all carry-on items are stowed either in an overhead compartment or completely beneath the seat in front of you. If you are seated in an emergency exit row, please read the information on the passenger safety card which is located in the seat back pocket in front of you. If you do not meet the criteria for seating in this row, or if you do not wish to assist in an emergency (you lame gnat), let a crew member know and we will be happy to re-seat you. Prior to departure from the gate all cell-phones must be turned off and stowed. Once again, we welcome you on board.”
Ah, yes. And that’s when I shoot out my last text to AJ and Lis and try to power down before I get in trouble.
I’m so hoping to see some of you Siestas in one of those three great cities. Anybody planning to head either direction? Even if these events are way off your radar, I’d give just about anything if you’d take a moment and pray for our 2011 Living Proof Live events. It would make a world of difference. Oh, man, we so want to honor God and give Him great glory and spread the fame of Jesus Christ. We want to keep learning and keep growing and keep seeking and keep finding, alongside every woman He sends our way. We have nothing without Him. Not one thing. If we quench Him, we’re croutons. Please pray for our hearts to be pure and our egos to be small and for our God to be huge and make His praise glorious.
I love you guys.

Colossians 1:10 NASB
Walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Beth ~ I’m praying God will do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ask or think – in you, through you and for His glory – that women will long to know Him more and find that He truly is their all in all – that they will become who they were created to be – women of the Most High God!
“Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.” Isaiah 26:8
To know Him and to make Him known – that’s what it’s all about!
As soon as tickets were available for Fresno, I purchased 15 of them putting my faith in Christ that He would provide the ladies to take this trip with me. At the end of January all tickets were claimed and paid for. We are chomping at the bit to get this road trip going. Can’t wait to see you again Beth and to hear what God is going to tell us this time. See you April 1st and that is no fooling.
Love in Christ

Ma’am it is a joy to pray for your ministry and this year’s speaking schedule! My husband and I started planning a trip to the USA to see family and friends last year and as we settled on June 2011 for the date, I was suddenly struck – I could go to Living Proof Live!!! Ahhh!!!! Turns out, we are not going to be close enough for me to go to Living Proof Live…but we will be close enough for me to to travel to Deeper Still in Kentucky!! I have three of my buddies coming – one from Kentucky, and two from Tennessee and I am beside myself with excitement!!! What a joy!!! My sister is at College in Little Rock and another friend is in Charlotte, NC so I have encouraged them to go to LPL when you’re in town! I so pray they will!!
Many blessings to you and your whole team!!!
I’ll see you in Little Rock. First trip to see you in 2 years! Can hardly wait. It was hmmm….let’s see about 10 years ago that I was first introduced to you at a LPL event in Hot Springs, AR. My life has not been the same since! Happy you will be with your sisters.
Teresa
My sister & I will be in Tacoma…we have been looking forward to this event for a long time! Praying we have a great time & hear the Lord. And my aunt & cousin will be in Fresno for the April LPL.

Loved the saying at the end about croutons I appreciate that because without Jesus I defintley would be toast little toast and probably burnt so thank you.
Have fun a great a safe trip
Carol
I just put on make up for the first time all week, mostly because I’ve been at home doing home stuff. All that to say, this almost made me cry, but I held those tears back. I don’t know exactly what it is, maybe the burning passion that comes through this blog, the references to home, the yearning to make Christ known. I loved it. It touched my heart for some reason. I am so excited about what God does through your ministry and I just wanted you to know that you have inspired me. You inspired me to believe, pray and trust God’s word. That has changed my life. Lord- empower this ministry to touch and change the lives of women. Please give Beth peace and wisdom. In Jesus name.
I will be at the Tacoma weekend. So excited to have you and the team so close to home!! Not even 30 min. travel. And there will be a whole bunch of gals from our church and a whole bunch of friends there. Praying for you all!
* Praying for God’s Word to fall on “good soil” in Tacoma.
* I so covet your prayers for Lydia’s MRI next Friday (Mar. 11th). For siestas who do not know ~ Lydia is my 7 yr. old daughter who was diagnosed with an inoperable brainstem tumor 18 months ago. She gets MRIs every 3-4 months to monitor the tumor. Please pray for calm nerves and good results.
praying for your precious daughter – do you have a blog??
I have tossed around the idea of starting a blog….just haven’t done that yet. There is an “I am praying for Lydia Byrd” facebook group if you happen to be on fb. Your concern and prayers are deeply appreciated. ♡
Been thinking a long time about entering the blogging world….you’re question motivated me to take the plunge!
http://byrdhouse-byrdsnest.blogspot.com
Stacey, I am praying for God’s hand to be on both you and Lydia. May He give you His peace, strength and comfort.I have added you both to my prayer journal.
Thank you so, so much. No doubt His presence has been heavy on us throughout this journey. He is our peace. Knowing fellow children of the King are praying us through brings such comfort to our souls. Thank you.
Lifting Lydia and you before the throne of our tenderhearted heavenly Father and asking Him for fresh mercies as March 11th approaches. His grace will be sufficient for you. He will fill you with all joy & peace as you trust in Him so that your hope will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit (Rom 15:13)
Amen! Thank you for reminding me of that verse.
Unexplainable… the peace and joy and hope He has blessed us with thus far!
Focusing on Him and not the “what ifs” sustains me daily.
Stacy, just said a little prayer for Lydia and you. I pray that God will not only surround you, but lift you up and carry you in His arms as you and your family walk through this trial, and I pray that you will know it to be so. May you walk in comfort, peace, and strength. God bless you!
Oh Janel, I do know He is doing just that!
When my husband and I were first told of the tumor my heart cried out “Abba, Father” and my mouth echoed “God I need your strength and grace to get me through this.” He has not ceased to provide peace in this midst of this storm.
Praying for you and your baby girl.
Truly grateful for your prayers.
Absolutely and amen, dear Sister in Christ
Nothing better than being in the family of God and knowing my sisters are holding me up to our Father. Thank you.
The wait is always the hardest part and I pray desperately for joy in your home leading up to next week. My family still prays for your precious Lydia, and we will be lifting you up extra over the days to come.
Thank you so much for continuing to pray for her. The waiting is definitely refining my patience. To be honest, I feel like this trial has been a make-over for my heart! I can say there is definitely some joy right now with my 3 little ones giggling and running all over our home!
Stacey, your Siesta from Arkansas will be praying for you and your precious Lydia. Dawn
Lydia smiled when I told her a sweet lady in Arkansas was praying for her. ♡
Thank you.
Yahooo ….for Living Proof in Tacoma. I am so excited to attend with “my ladies” from church…and I admit that i have a little paperchain count-down in my kitchen 🙂 We are are practicing our big hair in seattle in honor of your visit. We are looking forward to worship with your team and to hear the Word..and for adding scriptures to my spiral. So between now and then, prayers are lifted up for you and your team. Thank you for all that you do for to get women in the Free and Empowered by time in the Word. See you soon.
Get those teasing combs going, Sisters! May Jesus meet you there.
Won’t be there but please have some Animal style fries for this northeast gal!
A group of girls in my Bible study and I will be seeing you in May in Minnesota! Can’t wait to be praising God with you! It’s been a while since you’ve been here! 🙂
Beth, yes we are praying for you & the events!!!
i ordered my tickets for little rock with my Christmas money. i was putting it on my calendar & realized i had a huge conflict at work. i work in the Christian Studies dean’s office at Ouachita (wash-i-taw) Baptist University & that saturday is our first BIG weekend to welcome next year’s freshman class & to pre-register them for the fall. Dean secretaries HAVE to be there.
so i was explaining to my Dean (a Godly Biblical scholar/author/professor) that i would just have to miss LPL & he said “Tracey. We’ll work it out. You HAVE to go. It’s Beth.”
YESSSSSS!!!!! so yay, i will be in little rock!!! as will a fun group of ladies from FBC-Arkadelphia. speaking of FBCA, i need to go bake a pie for the fish fry there tonight. wish you were here! 🙂
Oh, Tracey, I’m so excited! FBC Arkadelphia was where I gave my heart to Jesus as a child. I’ll be so glad to have you guys!
oh, we know, Beth! we are so proud of you – even those of us who didn’t grow up here claim you!!!
i was told last night that several of our group will be moms with their teen/college-aged daughters! that just made my day. 🙂
p.s. mary king (your GA leader) was in HIGH form last night. she had baked a cake for the dessert auction & they let her display it (think an 88-year-old vanna white). wow it was a hoot!!!
see you in lr!
Such a small world…My daughter, Mauri Grace, is a sophomore at OBU and is a Mass Media/Christian Studies major. Thanks for all you do and I’m grateful your Dean is working it out for you to attend. I remember so well last April when we took our first born to pre-register her for the fall semester. Such a BIG weekend in the lives of freshmen and their families.
Our church is bringing 40 ladies to Little Rock as well. I’m looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us as He uses His most precious servant, Beth.
i love mauri grace! such a sweet young lady!!
Hoping to be in Little Rock with some women from our church in Fayetteville. My daughter and I saw you in Virgingia last year. She is now 14 and just recently asked if you were coming anywhere near us this year? I took that as a sign to get tickets. PTL! We will be praying for you and the team.
Thanks for all your service and sacrifice and ministry. You are such a blessing to so many!
From Canada – Ontario – too far to go to these spring events- but will sure be praying. Many I am sure would love for you to come again to Detroit Michigan, 1 hour from here , or to Toronto – for a living proof live event or a deeper still event. That would be awesome.
He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are just, a God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He. Deut. 32:4
Beth, I am so excited to say that my two dear friends and I will be joining you at the Tacoma Dome next weekend!! We are from Everett so we will be staying at one of the Hotels so we don’t come dragging in exhausted! We can’t wait to hear from God and to be blessed by You and the Worship Team. You are in my prayers and we are delighted to welcome you to the Pacific Northwest!
I’ll be in LR. Actually, flying from ATL to Kansas City (because it is cheaper to fly ATL to KC than it is to fly ATL to LR) to meet my best friend then we’re driving down to LR for the weekend. I can’t wait!
I’m getting the biggest kick out of the Attendant’s speech you have memorized!!!!
May God be glorified and His name Exalted. We love you and how He uses you to do His work!!
cheering and praying you on, Siesta Mama!
love,
rachel
I can’t wait to see you in Fresno, for the 2nd time!!!! I’m struggling to find a friend to commit to going…may just go by myself if I have to….though that wouold be a bummer!!! SOOOOOOO excited!!! You and Avalon always make a In n Out stop! Love it!
Heather, sometimes God speaks loudest when we go to something like that all by ourselves. He will seek you out. He will be your date. I promise it would NOT turn out to be a bummer.
Heather, come! I went to last year’s by myself & it was earth-shattering. I’m going to Fresno, and I’d love to meet u and sit together. Hey, we’re just siestas who haven’t met yet. Seriously…..come! He’s so gonna bring it! E-mail me if ya wanna meet!
[email protected]
Siesta Love!
I’m with Beth on this one. I went to Spokane in October by myself and it was the best time I’ve ever had at an event. I usual get treated terribly by other ladies when I go with others, though, so that’s probably why I enjoyed that one the most.
It concerns me that you get treated badly by other ladies. Surround yourself with women who will lift you up not bring you down. Wish I could have gone with you to Spokane. I’m from Arkansas and my heart goes out to you dear Siesta!
Thanks for that! But, you know, through those experiences God has given me deep compassion for women who are “different” and I go to great lengths to make sure that no one is left out when I’m at any event or activity of any kind. And I am now in a church where the women in leadership are very humble and loving people who obviously do not see themselves as being better than me. I just went to a ladies retreat with them in January and for the first time felt that I was valued and respected. It’s so nice to finally belong somewhere.
Beth,
You will never know how much Tuesday nights have meant to me,especially this winter. I can’t thank you enough for such a sacrifice! BTW, I just got back from San Diego where my 15 month old granddaughter and I shared some yummy “in-and-out”. The scripture on the wrapper was Rev. 3:20!
Waiting expectantly for the next rain!
You got it, Beth! Prayers are ascending to the heavenly throne right now:)) May you and your team and, of course, all the incredible sisters on your roadtrip be simply overwhelmed by Him!
I’m so excited to be coming to see you in Fresno! Finally!! You were at my home church in Seattle about 4 years ago, but I waited too long to get my tickets and they were all sold out…booo!! This time I made sure I booked early! There is a small group of ladies coming from my church and we are looking forward to seeing you live and in person as opposed to the videos we are watching 🙂 We are going through the Esther study together right now (LOVE IT!) I’m looking forward to a fresh Word from God and anticipate great blessings for you and everyone else involved!
Oh yeah, and I love me some In N Out!! It’s a dangerous thing to have one within walking distance of my house. Can we say self-control?!?!
Praying.
Dear Precious Beth,
You are a true blessing to so many women and it is amazing how God uses to you touch the hearts of others.
Your ministry really is reaching out to those who need
Christ.
Praising God for you and those who work with you.
:)Will keep all of you in Prayer!
If God allows, I would love to go see and hear you.
God has allowed me to get some video tapes (free) from your previous Bible studies in the past, plus I have the hardback books on David and Paul. I also, downloaded the insecurity dvds on your site. I am trying to catch up, Beth__so I can join in with the next Bible study you have coming out on James. So excited about what the Lord is doing!
Looking so forward to seeing you all in Fresno! It’s my tradition to take both daughters (25 & 28) to events that are within driving distance. We’ve been with you all over California in years past! I’m praying for all of us!
Can’t wait to see you in Little Rock!!!
Oh Beth it’s so hard to believe you are finally coming. Several women from our Bible study in Gig Harbor WA will be joining you and some gals from my city of origin,Walla Walla are coming over! May God pour His Spirit out on us all! My heart exulted with joy when you spoke of Him beginning to deliver to you what He has for us!
I have to tell you a quick funny story. I thought when I woke up on Feb. 28th that it was the 1st of March. I went on to post my verse and became slightly concerned that you hadn’t blogged us yet. I continued to check in throughout the morning and by noon was fully worried over you as you are like clockwork with these things. I dropped to my knees and began praying for you and your family. (One wonders at this time, I know, why a sane woman would not have checked the date??) I don’t know I’m not the sane woman you are looking for 🙂 By the last half of the day when I became alerted to the real date you had netted much in the way of prayer! Maybe it’s the way He could get my attention to just pray earnestly for you.So thankful you are coming and to Keith for sharing you so much with the body of Christ!
Much Love
Beth
My heart is so full!! to see Tacoma is all caps on LP blog we lived there for 14 years and would still be there if not for my dear husband needing us to move to the midwest. Both of our sweet boys were born at St Joes overlooking the Tacoma Dome and our oldest had cancer 3x and going home Nov 03 so my heart is in Tacoma/Lakewood I dream of going my there if it is in God’s will. I love the Great PNW!! for so many reasons all the dear friends of carried us thru M’s illness some will be in the Tacoma Dome March 11/12 I LOVE THEM ALL Jesus loving praising women friends forever… breath in the wonderful PNW Beth and all of LPM praying for a God to be glorified …. see you all in Lincoln,NE in Jun!!
I’m originally from Tacoma, raised there until I was 23 when I moved to Atlanta (now in NC). Miss my home so much, but am THRILLED you have a special word from God for them! I am partnering in prayer with you for that event. They need it desperately!
I will be praying here in So.Calif. Wish you were coming here. It would be great to see you, but I will continue to look forward to Thurs. nights when I see you on the big screen at our churches women study in Esther.
Much love back to you,
Siesta Dayna : )
A friend and i will be going to see you in Fresno, CA! I had such a good time last year when you came to my town, Stockton, CA, that I had to tell a friend about how fabulous, powerful, and challenging your events are. See ya next month. 🙂
Praying for your spring season. I was so blessed to take part in the New England weekend in the fall. BTW have you heard Laura Story’s new song entitled “Blessings” it is amazingly powerful. It’ll be released in April, but you can hear it now on laurastorymusic.com
On behalf of your Houston Based Flight Attendants ~ you nailed that pre-departure announcement. I wish I could stay in Seattle an extra day!! I am SO excited because I will be in Seattle next week to see my daughter’s ultra sound (her first baby). Maybe, I will have to stay an extra day and take her and baby to the event!!
Come!
Beth, I am praying for you and the team for the entire year that God keeps you all safe and healthy to do his work. I am also praying for on-time arriving planes and sisters as they travel to see you.
I will be at your September 10th Simulcast from Texas Tech. My whole family is going since my husband went there and while Melissa and I see you, my husband and son will tour around the campus and visit relatives. Two weeks later, I will be flying to Virginia to see my best friend and she, her mom and I will be seeing you in Baltimore September 30th and October 1st. Until then, I will be there next Tuesday night and then have to wait until Fall.
God bless you and your team for 2011. I know God has great plans and messages for all of the sisters.
I’m going to LPL Tacoma and couldn’t be more excited! I’m bringing my sister, sis-in-law, my mom, and a friend with her 3 friends! We’re so glad that you’ll be teaching in WA we can hardly wait!
I’ll be in Tacoma with my 2 BFF’s – sisters really – who have been having jubilee weekends together for 30+ years now. This will be our first one at an LPL event and we cannot wait! Praying for you and the team in these days leading up to the weekend. THANK YOU all for your love for Jesus that is so evident in all you do. I love you!
I prayed just as you requested. So glad all of you are energized and ready to “hit the road” for Jesus and all who have the opportunity to be blessed by LPM.
Beth, I have a request. Several of us have been called to listen to God’s promptings. We would greatly appreciate any guidance you are willing to share on how to be available and recognize God’s voice in our lives. God Bless you with a wonderful tour and lots of fun.
Well, Houston’s loss is LPM’s gain. Makes me so SAD that the James study is almost finished – it flew by. 🙁 I sit in the back by myself and that is my favorite 2 hours of the
week! Night before last was special- I hold a Baylor parent prayer meeting at
our house and three of us applied what God taught us at that lesson to pray for our kids! Thanks, Beth -we love you – fly away for awhile but come back home soon!
Dear Beth, I am coming to Tacoma next weekend! For some reason I thought it was for a simulcast, I had NO IDEA you would be there personally!!!! So excited! I am camping out at a hotel with my two best prayer warriors, mentors, and buddies, I CANNOT WAIT!
Robin
Snohomish, WA
Hi Beth!! I am in the middle of my very first Beth Moore Bible Study & am studying “David, Seeking a Heart Like His” LOVE it! It never seizes to amaze me how God can take something that pertains to David in that moment & make it pertain to me today! My Bible study leader, 2 others from the class & myself will be heading up to Fresno from SoCal to see you!! Can you see the rays from my smiling face?? Sooo excited!!
I’ll be praying for you!!! These events are always a highlight of my year, and God has been so gracious the last couple of years to allow me to attend more than one 🙂
Bought my tickets for DS Louisville this week.(That will be a doozy because its our VBS week)
Lord willing, I’ll be in Charlotte too 🙂
Love you!
A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks to much Proverbs 20:19 NIV
“If we quench Him, we’re croutons.” I love that…and I believe that because you know that, then He will “be huge and make His praise glorious.” Walk in the grace and empowerment He is sure to drench you all with…that which He speaks, you speak. Yes…so be it.
I will be praying for you, Beth!! I know that God will use you in a mighty way!!
Hi Beth,
I am so encouraged reading your blog tonight. I love that last bit about “croutons” and reminding us that we serve a big God and our time on earth is not about us!
I also was pleasantly surprised when I turned on my tv this morning and saw you and Keith on Life Today. You two are so cute!
May God continue to bless your ministry and family. I will be praying for you as your continually look at your schedule and work towards balancing everything.
May the Lord be with you!
Oh how I wish I was in Tacoma instead of here in Idaho. I could sure use a refreshing dose of God’s Word spoken with compassion, instead of what I’m getting from my pastor in counseling. I’m not going anymore. He doesn’t even care what I have to say. He’s got his formula for counseling down and boy, if you don’t fit in his box, you just can’t be helped, I guess. So, I’m done, and that’s the last time I trust a pastor. Or should I say any man for that matter!
Several friends and I get to be in Little Rock.
We are so excited and praying for your ministry
Especially for these spring meetings. Wishing
I could run into you there to ask you what scripture
You are memorizing. I am memorizing successfully
For the first time in my 60 years!
I’ll be in Fresno with my beautiful, precious, 18 year old daughter and some of the ladies from our Bible Study. I can’t wait to introduce my Bekah Girl to Miss Beth and God’s word taught strong through Miss Beth’s heart and mouth. SUPER DUPER excited!
May the Lord prepare the hearts of every woman in that arena next month.
