Lindsee, I am really excited about this for the Living Proof ministry and for you! I am on staff with Young Life in West Virginia and a huge part of my job is to disciple high school and middle school girls. I am looking forward to using this new resource to learn more ways to creatively and effectively share the Gospel with girls!

Beth, your studies have been a huge part of my growth as I went through high school and college. So I look forward to seeing the new ways that Living Proof will be reaching out to young girls. Thanks for all that you are doing for the Kingdom! It’s a blessing!

Just got home from walking, hopped on the blog site immediately. Welcome Lindsee!! I am sure God will use you in a mighty way to advance and strength His Kingdom. I have 2 daughters, ages 22 and 19. My eldest just graduated from Trinity International University. TODAY she starts teaching 3rd grade at a Christian school. Can I say YEAH GOD!! Youngest is sophmore at Trinity. Is there any chance that you will be focusing on that age group?? I would love for them to be a part of Siestaville, they know how crazy I am about it ๐Ÿ™‚

Welcome Lindsee!! I’m just certain you’ll be a vital part of the work God has commissioned the ladies at LPM to accomplish. Praise to Him for placing you in this place at this exact time in history.

You know, I attended Living Proof Live in Salt Lake City a couple weeks ago with my 14-year-old sister. It was her first time hearing Beth speak and she most certainly heard a Word there that weekend.. However, there were moments when I could tell that the teaching was somewhat over her cute little head. I’m so encouraged to learn of your position, Lindsee, so that sweet young girls like my sister might be ministered to even just a little bit more at their level. We SO want these young ladies to mature into full-blown Siestas who are crazy about Jesus and follow Him to the ends of the earth! Bless you, Lindsee, for hearing the call and going forth! Godspeed!

    Welcome Lindsee!!

I am excited to see new ministry come forth! I have been working with two specific groups of girls and would love, love, love to have a Living Proof Bible study that is more adapted to them. I have worked with incarcerated teenage girls and I also lead Bible studies at a crisis pregnancy center. (Think ‘be the Abraham’, and change generations to come!) I have pulled pieces from Bible studies and videos as Beth can talk to these situations so well, but most of them as a whole study are not a good fit for these two groups. Just a thought on your first day! Again Welcome!!

Beth, KMac, Sabrina, & Sweet LPM Staff:

Thank you so much for bringing Ms. Lindsee Lou to us – for us. I do know her and love her and she is so precious. When I came to the first SSMT in January of 2010, she took care of me and the “Georgia Girls” that traveled with me. I mean she really did!!! She took us to Pappasitos,(I’ve never gotten over that green sauce), she took us shopping, she took us to get cupcakes…she was the FACE OF HOUSTON and she is dee-lightful.

I can’t think of a more wonderful perfect choice for your ministry – ya done good, Mrs. Beth! She is a servant of the Most High God.

    Much Love to you all!!!
    G.J.

P.S. Will you be sure and tell Lindsee Lou that sometimes I think I am the Mayor of Siestaville? In an unofficial capacity…of course. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

There could not be a more perfect position for you than this one! When I think of you, I picture you with teenage girls. This is perfect, you are awesome, and the Lord is smiling over all of this! And since I will have a middle school GIRL next year, and 2 more in a few years, I’m THRILLED about this new position at LPM! Can’t wait to see where this will lead. Knowing you, and knowing how God loves this, I know it will be HUGE!

    Pam Shuler says:

Beth, this news is so exciting! My daughter and I were called by the Lord, several years ago, to start a Bible Study for women in our church. Our ministry title is WOW (Women of the Word). Within the last year and a half He called two other women to join with us to start a girls ministry, GEMz (GIRLS ENRICHMENT MINISTRY’S). Our hearts are truly full of praise for Him. Both Bible studies meet on the Monday evenings. The girls (middle/high age) join us for Fellowship and Worship and we then separate to our own groups for the remainder of the evening. It has not been smooth sailing, but of course, we knew it wouldn’t be because of oposition from the enemy, but the Lord is with us all the way! To see that your Ministry is going in this direction, to me, seems to be a confirmation to what He is doing in our church. Beth, our women have done a number of your studies and will be doing the “James” study in January 2012. Some of us are going to Baltimore, MD. September 30th, 2011 to hear you speak. We are from the Williamsport, PA. area and are getting very excited about the adventure. We are praying for the Lord to fill you with His inspiration for us! Again, I am so excited that Lindsee is part of LPM.
    In His Name,
    Pam

Pam, that sounds so neat and exciting. I know it is a blessing to those girls! And probably to you too! I’ve learned more from teenage girls that I have from anyone. They keep me on my toes! Praying right now for your ministries.

      • Lynn says:

Pam, I love that you all meet together! We so need the cross generational connections in the church. We have so much to teach/learn from each other. Makes my heart happy that you have seen that need and are doing something to address it. God’s blessing on you as you serve!!

Welcome Lindsee, What a blessing you are!
So glad to hear about the ministry for young girls. Lauren Nelson from Lawton, Oklahoma who was Miss America a few years ago, also has a ministry for young girls. I mention her, because she has a wonderful testimony and has helped others in so many ways. I know you will too.
“Big Hair for Jesus”, I could use a t-shirt like that; maybe I should get one made with my picture on it, how funny. Will be praying for your ministry!
