I am in shock. The timeliness of randomly finding this video has left me speechless.
2 days ago, I found my cross necklace on a shelf and decided to put it on again. then I went to a dinner where I knew that most of the ladies that were attending are not believers and some even acclaim to be Atheist. I put the necklace on confidently. The evening was as usual, but I felt the necklace around my neck all evening
Today, a group of us in the community had to meet and put a project on hold We had all been working on this with passion for a long time. The reason for the postponement was because in our hearts we knew it wasn’t where it needed to be and we couldn’t commit to it because one individual that was trying to drive us somewhere that we could not go. I am so thankful now that we stood strong.
I was feeling disappointed, angry and frustrated this evening. For some random reason, I looked up Beth’s blog and this video was there among many. I clicked on it and now as I said before, I am in shock at how pointed and personal the message became as I listened.
I have been a long time away from following the word of God and reading my Bible. After this experience, I cannot wait to pull it off the shelf and read all of the passages that I highlighted to see if they speak to me as this video spoke. I have a week of travel and time to myself. Please God, be with me and talk to me like you did tonight.
Thanks be to God.
For my yoke is easy and my burden in light.
