Simulcast, Anyone?? Your Mama Needs to Know

Hey, Siestas! Just a quick update to let you know that each of the ten scholarship tickets are now gone for the Lubbock location where it will be live. We would encourage you to click on the link below to see if you’re still able to join another simulcast location near you. Thank you so much!

Hey, you darling things! I’m just dying to know if any of you are participating in the Living Proof Live simulcast this coming Saturday. (Sept. 10th) God has made you such a huge part of this ministry and given me so much love for you that I wonder if you’re out there every time I serve on the road. Somehow (God alone knows how) you lend a very personal touch, giving me the sense of a close sisterhood even among many unfamiliar faces in that group of participants. It’s that feeling only God can bring where you feel loved and accepted even in all your quirks and mistakes.

SO, are any of you going? (If you don’t know anything about it, see the link at the bottom of this post to check on whether or not a host site is in your area. If so, please contact that location directly about available seating. We’d love to have as many Siestas as possible!) If you’re going, you’ll see three questions in the next paragraph that I’d love for you to answer. First, let me give you a few stats so that you’ll know what’s up. To God’s glory and purpose, there are 731 host locations in all this year. They are sprinkled throughout 48 of our 50 States and – are you ready for this??? – a whopping 31 of those 731 host locations are in CANADA! We were flabbergasted! So grateful to God. We also have host sites in 10 other countries. I’ll share those on Saturday. In addition, our gracious God is granting us the privilege of serving 3 military bases (so dear to this Army brat) and one women’s prison. I am without words to convey what the latter means to me. Many of us women know what it’s like to be imprisoned to something we feel we cannot escape. We are overwhelmed and anxiety-ridden (and grateful, prayerful, mindful) at the prospect of serving this large and very diversified group on Saturday. Our only hope is to be crucified to our own flesh and alive in Christ. Our competency is in Him. We gladly esteem every participant in the presence of Christ as better than ourselves. God alone can accomplish the task we have before us but He did not stir the whole concept up just to pull a no-show. He promises that He will be found by every person who sincerely seeks Him. Siestas, if you have ever prayed for us, pray for us now! We are trusting Jesus with everything in us to minister personally to each of those lives. We are pleading with Him for a demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s power.

Now, for those three questions! The insight you bring me is always gold. If you are participating in the simulcast, would you tell me …
*Your 1st Name?
*The location where you’ll be attending?
*ONE of the biggest things in your life right now? (Please just ONE and please make your description very succinct or I’ll never be able to read all of them. I want so much to look through them to gain insight toward our group on Saturday.)

Siestas, may I ask your sweet understanding and cooperation in limiting our comments to this post just to the ones attending the simulcast this weekend? You know I hate to do that but it will help immensely as I look through the comments to begin formulating a composite of the group on Saturday. Thank you so much!

P.S.  Be sure to hop on the blog tomorrow because I have someone really wonderful I want to introduce to you. You will know her WELL by this time next year!

I’m nuts about you.

Now, here’s that link in case you want to check on the nearest host site. Click Here: Simulcast Host Locations

P.P.S.  For any Siestas near Lubbock, where the live Simulcast site will be this Saturday, we are humbled to be able to offer ten scholarship tickets to those that would love to join us but just cannot afford a ticket at this time.  Call and ask for Kimberly or Susan at 1-888-700-1999.

Debbie Laureen, I will be attending the simulcast at Hope Methodist in Trinity , Florida. One of the biggest things in my life right now is trust and allowing God to lead while I do not worry. God woke me at 2 am yesterday to pray for you and Texas, and others. Isn’t it precious how God touches each of our hearts with His compassion. (at 2 am I don’t think it is my compassion). May the power of the Holy Spirit fill you as you speak a Message from our gracious Father. Thank you for your willingness to serve Him.

Peace and Wisdom on how to cope/handle being wrongly accused and attacked by other church women using gossip, rumors, and false allegations that have made me some kind of scapegoat for them. Trying to show them, peacefully, that I am not what/who they think but rather I am a victim of callous misunderstandings? and out right lies. I know in my heart I am not who/what they think. The Lord ask us to turn the other cheek and that the battle is his….yet, not only have I suffered but also my family. I have been married faithfully and happily for over 25 years and this persecution against one of their own church members is beyond cruel. I know that the Lord loves me and loves them, too…..we are all His children and He died for each one of us.

Beth, I had tickets to go to the simulcast tomorrow but my sister and brother in law (at the same time) got sick and I had to fly to NY to take care of them. I left the tickets with my daughter Carli and asked her to please still go. I hope she does. She is so precious and is going thru her own “stuff” which I would never share without her permission but was wondering if you could give her a “shout out” during the simulcast? If you can’t I understand but if you her name is Carli (Ferrari) and she’s from Knoxville,TN. I would love for you to tell her in front of everyone how much I love her and wish I could be at the simulcast with her and how precious she is to me and how proud I am of her and of all she is doing to better her life. Thanks, Have a great simulcast. I wish I could be there.

My one big thing is that I need a fresh infusion of the Holy Spirit and my joy needs to be restored! I went through a house fire in 1997 that destroyed my home and then my husband passed away suddenly in 2001 — it has been 10+ years and though God blessed us with a new house back in 1998 (that I was able to hold on to and still live in today) and then an awesome Godly husband in 2005, I have been under a yoke of heaviness and sadness that just never seems to lift! I have so many blessings but I am unable to enjoy them . . . .

    Hey Beth, Travis, and LPM:
I live in Andover, KS and will be attending the simulcast at Hope Community Church here in Andover. On my heart right now is God’s call on my life and the gifts He has encouraged in me to become what He sees me as. I am always amazed that God could use me to be glorified. As He can use each and every one who chooses to be saved! I feel led to become a Hospital Chaplian and have started that process this fall. Big changes, very exciting, and extremely intimidating all at the same time. May God be glorified in spite of me! Looking forward to worship and some serious time in the Lord tomorrow! Thanks for all you do, may you all be richly blessed for the blessing you are to others!

The biggest thing is now being a single mom to my daughters 11 & 7. My husband left last November due to an eight year affair he was having. He allowed his mistress to take me to court for stalking, I have children, I don’t have time to stalk, the Judge rendered in my favor, not before being humiliated by this person. She is well known in the courts, as a psychopath, who has texted me about my girls. He has spent our savings, our retirement, and every dime from my business that is now closed. After 20 years of history with him, I’ve never seen such Evil and such a “COLDNESS” from another person, ever. To be honest, Its real hard right now, its really hard. I hate it, that its turned out like this, its so sad. I’m down, but I’m not out.
I’m so thankful I get to at this conference, van went into the shop today, but I borrowed a friend’s van & I’m going. God Bless You & Your Team.

My biggest thing is that I am going to be a Mommy after 5 years of infertility and 5 miscarriages. We have a very beautiful little girl waiting for us in China. Two years ago I was a mess with a heart full of grief and a nasty case of bitterness. Then God lead me to the Easter Bible study and a road of hope and healing. Then He allowed me to see past my own grief to the brokeness of the orphans. I am so glad he broke my heart to show me the hurt in this world. And I get to be a Mommy. I parked in the “expecting mother” parking spot at CVS the other day and had a good laugh! God is so good.
