Beth, You always have a way to make me laugh when it’s been a crazy week! Thanks for the encouraging Word from Hebrews. <3 Tiff
P.S. I think I shall get me some glasses like that. ๐
I love you too and YOU make me laugh! Thanks for the scripture from Hebrews today.
Sarah
Too funny! Loved the glasses. My granddaughter, Solei, was watching with me and was so excited to learn that it is National Donut Day. We have to run right out and get her some donuts! Have a great weekend.

Amen, and thank you, Beth. It was so good to hear from you and see you! (Is there a story behind the glasses? Couldn’t stop chuckling.)
Love you, Karene
Beth, You are having way too much fun! AND so am I because of you: while on vacation with my husband I took a picture of our desserts because you had shown us that; this week I took a picture of a black toad in our yard going toward the clematis, you have dogs, we have toads; and the day your man was fileting fish, my man brought me beautiful red roses, I don’t know why I just enjoyed them. Today was our women’s monthly ‘Prayer Coffee’ – we meet and take home a list of prayer requests for our church – wonderful sweet women – today I told them about me finding a new word in the Word – part of our armor is to be a prayer warrior. I’m having fun too. May God bless you more for encouraging us. Love you, see you in Columbus, OH.
Ms. Beth,
I know you say never to say you laugh out loud unless you literally laugh out loud! So I am going to tell you that I LITERALLY LAUGHED OUT LOUD!
You are just the sweetest thing!
Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday! I have to work this evening and your little message was the perfect pick-me-up ๐ Great glasses…and even greater word from the Lord!
I hope you have a lovely weekend ๐
…and may I just say ugh to the multiple smileys. HA
You are a bunch of fun! Thanks for making me smile and sharing the Word!
Ok, so that just totally cracked me up! I’m still giggling! Thanks for being so much fun! Have a blessed weekend, my friend (that’s what my 7 year old son calls you!)
Seriously, you are TOO cute! ๐ Make sure you post a pic sportin those awesome overalls! ๐ AND maybe, just maybe a video of you using that whoopie cushion! Maybe? ๐
Beth, I’m CRAZY about you! You made my day! Love you!
Thanks for the fun video, Beth! Loved hearing from you and thanks for the encouragement from Hebrews! I can’t wait until the Siesta Celebration…I had such an amazing time at the last celebration – and I am looking forward to the next one with great excitement!
Love you!
Kim
Hi Beth –
just wanted to tell you how much I love and appreciate you – isn’t that weird to have so much love for someone I haven’t met. Thank you for being just the cutest woman ever and especially for being someone that God has used to help flame a love in me for Him and His word.
with love,
shelley
Thanks, Beth!
I needed a little loving-on today.
WHY were you wearing those glasses — please explain?!!!
Just had to reply to you as I was reading through the responses because I’m also Karen E. And your hair style is similar to mine. Too strange! So great that we’re both also Siestas! God bless!
SO COOL! I was just running in from working OUTSIDE for a minute (not ! in 115 degree heat though) and thought to check Siestaville and see what was going on… And WHAT do you KNOW she was thinking the same thing? You’re great, Siestamama. We love you 2! And love hearing from you… Isn’t that GREAT?!? Life is so fun here in Siestaville. But those pink coverall kneepads – dontcha think they will all turn just brown? What are your plans on that? Keep us posted…
๐ Bye!
Have I told you lately – u r a NUT! And I love ya!
You looked like a chipette with those glasses on! Those BIG eyes and darling bangs!

Have a great weekened and week B to the Moore!
Thanks! That was so cute. I needed that.
Beth, we all need a pair of those gorgeous glasses!
Thank you for all the encouraging words. I love you and pray for you.
We’re nuts about you, too, Beth! In fact, we’re all just a bunch of nutty gals — with you and your silly glasses at the helm of it all ๐
Oh Miss Beth,
You just made me laugh out loud! Love those glasses! Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello and thanks SO MUCH for sharing that word with us. I needed to be reminded that it is GOD who is equipping me, not me trying to equip myself to ‘be good’ or something. oh His grace is so overwhelming! Have a wonderful weekend! ๐
love,
jennie
Thank you, Beth.
We love you too! ๐
Love you too, Mrs. Magoo!!
๐
Beth Moore you crack me up!! I am sitting here at my computer laughing my head off!!! I just love your new look, those classes are incredible LOL LOL LOL
I’m nuts about you too. I just loved this, your sense of humor is the greatest!! Thank you so much for saying ‘hi’
That should read glasses not classes ๐
I needed that tonight!! Thanks so much ๐
I love you! ๐
Love, love, LOVE the salsa music in the beginning! Kinda weird at first to hear it, I thought my iTunes had come on at first!
Lovin’ the Lord more and more each day.
I am so glad I stumbled across your blog a year ago, Beth. I am hoping to read your So Long Insecurity book soon, need to finish reading 3 other books first!
Looking Good, Beth! Are Christian allowed to do the “chicken dance,” thought that might go with the sun-glasses. About that donut…you have my mouth watering, but I’ll need a cup of starbucks coffee to go along with it. Thanks for bring a little laughter into our lives.
We appreciate you so much!
(My friend, Christy told me Sunday at church, “I have tickets to go see Beth Moore in Texas.” …if I had known ahead of time I would be going too. I told her I was going to hid in her purse and she was going to sneak me in, I don’t mind standing either while I raise my hands in praise at the same time. lol)
To follow up on your beautiful Bible verse:
Mend our broken hearts, Lord
Hold us in your arms
You are our Shelter and our Deliver
Heal the hurts for which we are shaken
Have mercy upon us,
For we pour our hearts out to You,
We remember Your lovingkindness
We see Your great works
We know Your power
You are our Salvation.
We trust in you, Lord
We can do nothing for
Our efforts are frizolous without You
We wander off like lost children and
cannot find our way,
We look in the wrong direction and
seek after the wrong things,
But, You always keep loving us
You never leave us, but You keep bringing us back to the fold
Sometimes we are like lost sheep.
Our words are empty,
Our actions like a pierced-bow into the flowing water,
Preserve us into Your loving arms again,
Encourage us to seek Your Holy Word
Let us sing praises
Bring us to our knees in prayer
We shall worship You, O Lord
Behold the King of Kings, Lord of Lords
The Mighty One, and Sustainer of Life.
You, O Lord are Compassionate One,
the Merciful One, the Forgiving One
We turn to You for help,
We seek after Your ways,
Take away our pride,
Take away our selfishness,
Help us to walk in Your ways and not follow after man.
Lead our paths in the ways that are right and pleasing to You.
Rise us up and let us trust in You for all things
We praise You, Lord. We love you! ~joyce
I needed to laugh today….I’m reading “Get Out of that Pit”…guess why? ๐ Love you much!!!!
You are a HOOT!!! I love it! ๐ Thanks for dropping in and saying hi to the Siestas. Oh, how we love you!
Prayers and blessings,
Rebecca
p.s. Wish I were going to Deeper Still with you! Praying God’s best over everyone there!
First I laughed at the glasses. (Didn’t those give you a headache?!) Then I teared up at the verse. We are in the middle of a complicated international adoption, and I needed that word! Btw, it’s 115 here in Arkansas too.
Love from one of your Pudens,
Sarah
Dearest Beth, Thank you, being part of siestaville is just the most fun and encouragement in the Lord. Love the glasses LOL!!! sincerely Phyllis
You are a hoot Beth Moore… If you were not a Bible study teacher I am sure you could be a comedian ๐
A couple of years ago I sent you a “Bibby” blingy shirt…I love seeing what Siestaville sends you for gifts…we have some creative women out there..
Love ya
LOVED….LOVED…..LOVED….this visit with you Beth!
I have nothing much to say other than I’m really glad you took off your glasses because my eyes were starting to water! ๐ Love you too… ๐
Hi Beth,
When you pulled out the overalls I thought sure it was going to be the whoopee cushion! Gotta love those glasses.
Thanks for the laugh and for just stopping by to say hi.
We are all so blessed by you! Love ya!
Dear sweet Beth,
That was a very nice seista break today when I came in from my war on weeds! I garden and the weed war is long, nasty and hard work!!!So is fighting off those darling little pests called cotton tail rabbits!!I know they are rejoicing somewhere in the bushes when they see me there planting all kinds of delicacies for thier little palates!I love that you just chat with us like this but, what was with the glasses? I may have missed the first part so will relisten. At first I was wondering if you had eye surgery! The sun is shining on the prairies and I am looking forward to spending time with my riding horse, playing outside with my schnauzer and corgi, pulling weeds and just sun worshipping. The flood fights around us are going good and my farmer sons and hubby are going to plant even though it is so late and still so wet in hopes of a harvest later they are not giving up hope. I wished my only sister, who stole my inheritence, a happy birthday afew days ago. I am listening every day to your spots weekly on One Place I am hearing lessons from the Inheritance and it is really speaking to me a hundred fold. I have just learned of this and I can go back in the archives so there is so much great stuff out there. I just regret I did not learn of you years ago but then I am grateful God led me to your ministry now. Good luck with those slightly unnecessary gifts!!!We are organic farmers so I could send you organic wheat!!!Love ya, In Jesus and in the Heartland, Betty M
Beth, you are crazy! and a wonder! Thanks for the pickmeup! Your crazy glasses made my day and the verse warmed my heart! Love you!
HONEY!
Between the intro/outro music, those glasses, and Kimberly’s zooming in and out, I am smiling from ear to ear!
Y’all are SO very precious ~ what a great way to start the weekend!
Sending love to all the LPM staff!
Whoopee!! ๐
You are too much mamma!! Loved the little “hello” and the glasses were a hoot. Thanks for always thinking about us here at Siestaville. I haven’t got on to post my verses but am still at them, thank you Jesus. It has been so awesome to know more of the Word and make it more alive in my heart. Thanks for all you do. Love you!!
Thank you MamaBeth, it was good to hear from you. I’ve had a difficult day. Depression came back and kicked my rear end. I’ve been paralyzed for hours, even the smallest decision is excruciatingly impossible. Paralyzed.
Do you actually see everything that people send? I want to send you something for your birthday but idk what b/c you get a lot of stuff and I’m sure can’t keep it all & I’m guessing you get a ton of Starbucks gift cards.
I wonder if this crushing wave of depression is some spiritual warfare because I’d been very encouraged lately and very much looking forward to L’ville next week. I just can’t function right now and when I finally stop crying I’m just numb. I’m going to go close up the house and curl up with my Bible.
Michele,
I just “tweeted” you, but in case you come here first, shoot me an email at [email protected]. I love you, I’m praying for you, and I’d love to encourage you.
Dearest Beth,
Thank you so much for all of the fun, laughter, seriousness of thought and your guidance in searching the Word of God. You have been such a dear part of my life for the past 10 years. God has blessed me with your thoughts and wisdom. Thank you for this darling video.. Just wish I was in Houston to see you in person as you teach and lead so many to God’s grace…Have a great weekend….
Those glasses BRING OUT your eyes!!! Stunning! We need a pair. Do tell all, girlfriend. Where can I get some.
I was in a Christian bookstore after work, today, and saw a purple and white plastic mask and cape for a character (superhero) named “Biblegirl” … do y’all have her in Texas. I thought about you … just sayin’!
The Word along with your words fits perfectly to the message we have been getting in Priscilla Shirer’s book “One in a Million”.
So good to SEE you.
Love you!
What a fun video to lift our spirits tonight! And I love hearing you read scriptures, Beth! I’m so glad I knew you way back when! You are special to me! โฅ
Thank you for that sweet word. I need a good word any time, but especially need it this weekend as my family is going through some “stuff.” Much love and have a great weekend. Always blessed to be a part of Siestaville!
Beth, thank you for making me feel like when you’re speaking on that video you’re speaking right to me. Thank you for your continued encouragement to all of us and for making us each feel special. ๐
The enemy has been working overtime with me this week. I am claiming victory over shame and guilt. But I spent much of the day crying and sobbing over a situation that Satan had warped into something that it wasn’t. I was actually getting online to check the verse in Genesis where it says that what Satan intended for harm God worked for good (Genesis 50:20). And He certainly did that today…and added an extra treat of some laughter too ๐ Thank you so much Beth for making me laugh and for making me feel like we are old friends just visiting. Rejoicing in God’s promises! Love you!
Beth…..I love you beyond words!!!! Thank you so much for the time and love you give to us…
Beth,
You are a HOOT! I enjoyed the thought that you just dropped by to say Hi! You refresh all of us too.
Have a good weekend.
