OK, after looking at the budget, flying to TX for a book signing doesn't seem to be fitting in *bawl*!!!

I LOVED what Redeeming Love taught me about God's Love. Being a huge Hosea (and obviously Gomer) fan it was a book that was very healing for me. But I really loved the Mark of the Lion series as well. I was so struck by the similarities in our cultures. Hadassah would make an interesting study in insecurities don't you think! I loved the security she learned to have in God, whoo!!

I've only read one F.R.'s title and it was excellent but I don't remember the name! It was based around the story of Gomer from the O.T. Gomer, what a name! Glad my parents didn't choose that handle for me. I promise to start on some more of her books since all of you are so head over heels. They must be great!

What about San Antonio??? Are you both coming here soon??? Please? ๐Ÿ™‚

If we didn't just get back from a road trip (with our 3 young children), I would drive to Houston! But I'm sure 3 kids (ages 19 months to 6 years) melting down in the book-signing line would be memorable, right??? ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, but I am flying to Tucson next week for the Living Proof Live event! Can't wait!!!!!

Well…..it looks like I've got some reading to do. I've never read much Christian fiction (too busy studying). But as an old English major I've been craving some fiction and thanks to Amanda and Siestas – I'm headed to Lifeway tomorrow for some Francine. Love y'all!!

Redeeming Love by far. Marital unfaithfulness and the way God can use something so devestating for his glory.

Redeeming Love is life changing. I LOVED the Mark of the Lion series, but Redeeming Love changed the way I view my God who pursues me with amazing love in spite of myself.
