And in case anyone needs a little cheer in their day, here are some of Annabeth’s recent hairdos.
This was yesterdays’ post-nap bed head.
And here’s my boy. We were enjoying some leftover birthday cake with milk to wash it down, hence the mustache.
Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! We’ll be spending ours at church. Does anyone else go to church on Wednesday nights? We go to fellowship supper and then Curtis teaches a Bible study class. What do you do?
We have a supper and then Awana. My husband helps with this and my kids are in it, I lead a womens Bible study in our home during this time — a highlight of my week!!
Love, love, love Wednesday church! As a mother with two boys 18 and 21 I head up there in the midst of younger jr. high and hi school kids eating and getting ready for their worship. Then head off to a "girls only" bible study.Just finished Priscilla Shriver "Discerning the Voice of God"….amazing, awesome…life changing!I'm in the bible belt so Wednesday night church is still a big deal here – Praise the Lord!
Your kids are really too stinkin' cute! Don't blink!

Wednesday nights are choir rehearsal for us. Really enjoy it!!
I love Wednesdays! Last night…at church, praise dinner with a friend then some worship and off to one of the classes that is offered- this time I'm in Hebrews-Running the Race Together. As I walked out- I was surprised to see everything covered in snow- thought of all the Houston siestas! Hope your weather is getting warmer!

We have AWANA on Wed. night. We have alot of unchurch children come in on the vans on Wed. night. Most of them are so excited. It breaks my heart sometimes to hear what some of them are going through at home. I'm glad that they are given a chance to get away from it all. Some of the children are so open about their home lives. That's when I realize that they think that everyone lives like this. I pray that God uses these times away to open their hearts to Him and His Word.
On Wednesday nights I get to work with our Senior Adult Choir, play opening hymns for Bible Study and make music with preschoolers!
What cute kids! Bet there's never a dull moment at your home!
Thank you for the gift certificate!
I love to read what you all do with your church's and having dinner together as believer's.
Blessings to all of you and pray my husband and I can find a church with that much love.

Wednesday nights = choir at Prestonwood. LOVE it forever!!
Church! We have worship time in the auditorium followed by several different choices for bible classes. Fellow siesta and I shared praise dinner beforehand. I am in an awesome class on the book of James. I was laughing when we were released from classes and it had turned into an absolute blizzard outside…I thought of you ladies in Houston having to miss bible study! The snow was so thick I had to turn OFF my car headlights to be able to see on my drive home…the lights were just reflecting off all the snowflakes! Although a little frightening for driving, it was so pretty and magical :). I love snow. And Wednesday night church.

Our little church here in West Texas is just recovering from a major split, so we have not been able to start up Wednesday nights yet. Instead, I am joined w/a group of ladies from a different church and we are going through "Daniel" on Wednesdays at 4:30. (We all work outside the home, so this is the best time for us.) Afterward, we have our husbands meet us at the local cafe for supper. Great study, great fellowship!

I go to a women's bible study here on the mountain π It's by someone named "Beth Moore" and it's called Esther.
We're a mobile church right now so it's very difficult to have monthly let alone weekly Wednesday night services.
However! Last night we had a communion service ON-LINE together and everyone was chatting and it was awesome! I'm so proud of our team! God, You Reign.

We have a fellowship supper and then some of us read from the book of Luke with international students helping them to learn English. Very rewarding. My student is from mainline China.
Look at those eyes….oh my!
Well for one I homeschool, so we play practice from 12-4 for the two older kids, then dance class for the 3yr old princess from 5:30-6:30p and that gives us just enough time to get to church for Youth, Royal Rangers and Rainbows.

Church for us too. My daughter attends Missionettes and I get to attend one of the adult classes. Nice to get in mid-week worship!
We usually go to church for Bible Study on Wednesday nights. I attend a womens study and my husband attends a mens study. The kids get to play. Nice way to charge your spiritual batteries during the week.
Right now I'm attending your Mother's Bible Study "Breaking Free" (updated edition) and being blessed beyond measure at my church.
So glad that I've been able to attend Curtis's class on Wednesday nights! He's great to listen to and I always learn something new…a fresh perspective, some light shed on an area of my life that was previously in the shade, etc….and not with legalism but with grace.

we go to church, and I teach a ladies bible study group. Right now we are digging deep into Hebrews. Our group is called Titus2 which means we have a lot to aspire to.
My husband and I both help out in our high school youth group on Wed. night from 6:30-8:00. Our church also has what the youth call "big church" which is a time of prayer and a mid-week sermonette! There is also G.A.'s, R.A.'s, and middle school youth going on at the same time. The Lord is a blast!

My 2 roots of insecurity are an unstable childhood (Dad disappeared and Mom had to work), and my perceived inability to talk smoothly. I know I can write well, so I try to serve that way. Well, there's the fear of rejection, too… And pride… And I'm so hyper-sensitive… Poster child, here.
On Wednesday nights at our church at 6:30 the preschool choir, junior choir and youth choir meet and then at 7:15 they all go to their respective grade appropriate youth classes while the adult choir practices. We get done around 8:15/8:30. We LOVE IT!!!!
Yes! Every Wednesday my husband teaches RA's and I teach Children's Choir!! Our theme is "Let's Rock". They are little
2nd graders and a hand full!
Amanda,
Thank you so much for posting pics of your sweet kiddos! They are so precious!! My "babies" are all grown(23,21,20) and I so miss that age! I can't wait for grandbabies one day!

I have just recently started mentoring the sweetest young lady from my church on Wednesday nights. We meet for dinner (Panera or we cook π and share and pray. I do not always feel 'worthy', but am always blessed by God's presence and work in both of us.
Honey, I look forward to my Wednesday nights all week!! We are doing your revised Breaking Free study, and it is awesome!! π
Many blessings,
Suzanne π
Oh, yeah. We are there EVERY Wednesday night. Funny you should ask, b/c this was a rare week that we didn't go. Hubby and one child sick, the other child injured. We do dinner and Girls in Action.
My husband and I have helped with the youth at our church for over seven years…..every single Wednesday night.
I'm a preacher's kid so I've been going Sun. morning, Sun. night & Wed. nights since I was a week old. π
Cute babies… okay Jackson… I know you are not a baby… but…
you are Very cute!
Just wanted to thank you for the pop quiz…even though I had done my quiet time.. I had to go back and find my bible verse… which has caused me to go and write down my verse each day and carry it around with me… it's a love letter that I had been taking for granted.. so thanks for the pop quiz.. it really helped me out!

We have dinner then break out for choir rehearsals, kids teams, youth groups and adult bible studies – all going on at the same time!
Just wondering. Is there a place for Siesta Prayer requests?
Aerfirmie, not specifically for the blog, but we do have a prayer page on our web site:

Eucharist at 5 pm followed by dinner and Bible study — right now we are in our Lenten study. Great studies and fellowship. I don't always make it, but I am always glad when I do.
Our church has church dinner on Wednesday nights for about 250 people usually, with the best cooks!! Then we have "Generations of Grace" Bible study with classes for all ages – memory verses that we learn together as a church. This is our second year of this program and we love it. I have twin 10 year old daughter and I help in their classroom and take my friend's 3 kiddos (5,7,10) with us each week – she is very recently widowed (November 09) and this gives her a couple of hours to herself in the week and I love her kiddos like my own! Special night of the week for our family!
I meet my mother in law for dinner, then we head to church for bible study. We are currently doing "inheritance". Next week is the last session! WOW it's great.
Love the family pictures.
We go to church supper and then I am facilitating Beth's Esther study currently. Love it!!!
I go to family meal and then worship ministries practice.
We also go to supper at church on Wednesday nights and I am a "Lifeguard" of a small group in our youth. We have a main session with our youth pastor and then break out into our small groups. Our youth room is called "The Pier"
Absolutely! AWANA club and/or prayer meeting each Wednesday. No AWANA though in the summer.
Greetings in the name of Jesus to you. I am inclined to believe being touched into the heart of people like you. am window being a mister of God most willing to join and work with you here Kenya. Happy to hear from you in God/s power.
