Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! We’ll be spending ours at church. Does anyone else go to church on Wednesday nights? We go to fellowship supper and then Curtis teaches a Bible study class. What do you do?

Wednesday's used to be a BIG church day for me (as a kid) but alas not so much now. I do a Thursday evening bible study at a local church. Our church is out in the prairie so we do not do much during the week. I do miss that fellowship time though.

CUTE KIDS!! Love seeing pictures of them all growing up too fast! (did that sentence make sense?!) Anywhoo, love seeing them change and grow and become little persons. Thanks for sharing!

We moved to Rhode Island this past summer from Atlanta. In Atlanta we went to a huge church. When we moved up here my husband found this brand new, TINY church. I promptly told him we would not be going back there because it was too small. Lo and behold, we go every week and LOVE the energy, mission, and vision of our new church. On Wednesday nights, a smaller group (than the 30 or so on Sunday) gather and we literally pray for every member of the church by name, and all those that visit. Wednesday night church….I'm just gonna be honest and say what I've been thinking for a while now but haven't said outloud –
We used to do the whole Wednesday night church thing. But since converting to the Catholic church a number of years ago we don't. I miss that. There is much that I love about our Catholic faith but there is much that I also love and miss from my Baptist background. It's hard sometimes.

I take my 6 year old boy to Kids for Christ (like AWANAS, but less competitive), and I sit in the church library and read/study a current book of need/interest. I am working on Cloud and Trent's Boundaries in Marraige right now. I look forward to the time of study and God always teaches me a lot! πŸ™‚
Those kids are adorable! Thanks for being so faithful to share pics! πŸ™‚

Wednesday Night is youth night at our church. My husband drops off our youngest – the last one living at home – and tries not to get a speeding ticket to get back home. He knows I have lit the fire and drawn the king size bath accented by candle light. Even after 30 years of marriage, we LOVE Wednesday nights.

Our church does what we call Journey Groups which is like small or cell groups. There are over 100 of them and they meet different nights during the week and do Bible study and life together. Of course there is usually food since a lot of folks come from work.
it's a great way to be surrounded by "family".

I go to church for dinner every Wed. night. I usually go upstairs and hang out with my youth Sunday School kids for about 30 minutes. Then, at 6:35, I go to adult choir rehearsal. I love going on Wednesday nights. It is such a good time to spend with my church family.

Church, though we never make it to the fellowship meal. And half the time there is something going on that I can't get to class, though I always get my mother there to teach hers.

I can't believe I admitted that on the LPM blog. I think I won't sign that!
