Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! We’ll be spending ours at church. Does anyone else go to church on Wednesday nights? We go to fellowship supper and then Curtis teaches a Bible study class. What do you do?

We have small groups at church on Wednesday nights and my sister and I lead a knitting/crocheting group. We read a different book every semester and discuss it while we knit. This time we're reading "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer. We have a great time and build relationship with one another.

Yes, we go to Church! I arrive 30 min. early to pray with a committee over an upcoming women's conference to be hosted at our Church. At 6:00, our Pastor leads Bible Study–currently it's the book of Daniel. My husband attends the study while I help with GAs. Our daughter is in GAs (Girls in Action–a mission focus group for girls 1st-6th grades) and our son is in RAs (Royal Ambassadors) same as girls group, only for boys. I think the fellowship supper sounds awesome!

Amanda – Your kids have got the most beautiful eyes…I'm sure you have heard that before, but they are just gorgeous.

My small group of ladies meet on Wed nights. We meet for 2hrs from 6pm to 8pm, the first hr is dinner. I mean dinner…usually a hot main course with salad and then dessert. I've suggested we limit the dinner hr to a shorter time period and the ladies will not hear of it…they want their grub!!! Currently studying Lamplighters Proverbs 1-9 by John A. Stewart.

This is the first year in a long time that we (as adults) haven't had Wednesday night responsibilities at church. So, we drop the 4 big kids off at church (not the church we attend on Sundays, actually, but one just down the block from our house where lots of their friends attends the great Wednesday night programming) and take Anna and either go to the Y and workout together, go to the library or run a few errands as a couple (well, a couple and a toddler . . . but when you usually have 5, having just 1 along feels quite a bit like a date!)
    blessings on your evening!

For this season of my life, i tend to stay in on Wednesday nights to study – it is my 24 hour block of time to study… as I am in seminary. Sometimes, 1/4 wednesday nights, i will go to my little church and eat dinner w/ them and pray . it is just about all I can fit in on my week…. It's good for right now.

thank you for the pictures. they were so adorable. I go to choir practice. Choir is such a blessing for me. I think I would go insane without it.

Your kids are too cute! Those eyes! We don't go to church on Wednesday anymore. Since we moved, we have been going to the Chapel on the Air Force Base we live on. They don't have it on Wednesdays. But, tonight my hubby comes home after being gone for work for a few weeks. Me and my daughter are going to send him on a scavenger hunt starting in the garage when he gets here to the kitchen where we will be standing holding the "welcome back" cupcake cake we just baked him πŸ™‚

    Enjoy church.

We always have Mid-Week Lenten services – one at 1:30, the other at 7:00 PM with a period of fellowship and refreshments after the evening worship. This year's series is on a disc, and is entitled "When the Game is Over, It All Goes Back in the box". Perhaps you've heard of John Ortberg who does the commentary on the DVD. All these Wednesdays build up to Good Friday and the Resurection on Easter! Praise God!

The milk mustache is the best.

    And the little ponytail? Adorable.

My Wednesday nights vary. Tonight I'll be spending it with the 6th grade girls small group here at church. They never cease to amaze or entertain me!

One evening when I'm not tied up, I am hoping to make it down there to Curtis' class. I love hearing him teach!

I teach a kindergarten class on Wednesday nights at church. Unfortunately, we can't make it for supper and eat afterwards. I love my little Mission Friends and can't wait to see their smiling (I Hope) faces this evening.

I am just beginning the Esther study. I made this video to go along with the week 2 homework and showed it today.
It's a spoof on Esther's first year during the beautification and purification. She's apparently from the Jersey Shore. If you watch it, I hope that you enjoy it!
