And in case anyone needs a little cheer in their day, here are some of Annabeth’s recent hairdos.
This was yesterdays’ post-nap bed head.
And here’s my boy. We were enjoying some leftover birthday cake with milk to wash it down, hence the mustache.
Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! We’ll be spending ours at church. Does anyone else go to church on Wednesday nights? We go to fellowship supper and then Curtis teaches a Bible study class. What do you do?
yaaay Wed. night church. Involved in a "Self-Confrontation" study of God's word. Ouch. but freeing!!!
Great pics Amanda! My hair looks like that too in the morning.:) Many things take place at church on Wed nights, but I go to Worship choir rehearsal.
Susan in OKC
I teach a Bible Study for young moms whose children are in Awana. We just finished Parenting on Purpose tonight and will start a Bible Study on hope next week. Love the hair dos and the mustache.
Nope no church on Wednesday nights for me….my old church used to do bible studies on Wednesday nights but I usually attended on Monday or Tuesdays because Wednesday's seemed to always be my college class nights…now that I am finished with classes my Wednesdays are free! Interestingly, my new church also does not do anything on Wednesday nights. Our women's bible study is Monday nights.
Love Annabeth's hairdos….so cute! And Jackson's milk moustache, adorable :)Happy Birthday big boy!
Wednesday nights are a fellowship dinner and NO COOKING. Then I teach/facilitate a Beth Moore class for ladies. We are starting "Hearts Set On Pilgrimage" Next week. We just finished Priscilla Shirer "Discerning the Voice of God". Marvelous.

We go to a neighborhood Mexican resturant for dinner. Then off to church. We just finished Priscillla Shirer's He Speaks to Me, & started The Inheritance tonight.
I enjoy seeing pictures of the children. Too cute!

Yes, we go on Wednesdays. (Except for tonight, I've got a croupy kid) We also have a fellowship supper before hand, called Wednesday Nite Bite, and then bible class after it. Right now the women are actually in the middle of the Esther study! I'm loving it!
Our family goes to church on Wednesday nights … My husband & I both teach AWANA classes. We love those kiddos and are thankful for the opportunity to reach out to kids in the neighborhood with the love of Jesus!
We take our great niece and nephew to AWANA and we (my husband and I) are involved in discipling new believers.
Church for us. Awanas & youth group for my girls. Bible Study and Choir for us. Long night for the whole family.
Right now my husband and I have a "short" date at the local books-a-million
i co-teach our teen class called InnerMission – since it's an intermission in our busy week and a time to reflect on our inner and spiritual lives. love it!
Wednesday Night Dinner and then I teach the College and Career Bible study! There is a group of ladies doing Breaking Free — (I'm doing it on Tuesday mornings), a group of young adults doing Experiencing God as Couples, a group in "regular" prayer meeting/Bible study, many children's classes, Middle School and youth!
Awana!!! for the kids and an awesome hour of just prayer for the adults! Love my Wednesdays!
We make it to Wednesdays whenever we can. We like to eat and then attend the prayer meeting with our Pastor.
Those are quite literally the two most gorgeous children I have ever seen! You are so blessed.
I am watching American Idol. LOVE IT! We don't have church tonight.
My husband works tech for our children's ministry, my kids go to TeamKid, and I go to choir practice.
We don't have church on Wednesday nights. Do you have a regular service?
We always eat at Chick-fil-A and then go to church where I teach the 1st graders.
These are absolutely precious pictures! This used to be small group night and before that worship team practice night, but am currently on hiatus going to school on Wednesday nights.
Wed night church for us, too… We have supper before and then I help teach a 1st and 2nd grade G.A. class. We have so much fun!
We go to church on Wednesday nights for children's choir and are starting Anointed, Transformed and Redeemed next week. Can't wait!
I keep the nursery during church and then attend choir practice afterward.
Thanks for sharing pictures of the little ones! They are so sweet!
On Wednesday nights, my friend Terese comes over and we have a Bible Study-currently we are doing a study in Daniel from Kay Arthur and we are combining it with a book discussion of-guess what?!
'So Long Insecurity'! We are having a blast. I thank God for my good friend and sister, Terese.
Could I borrow some of Jackson's eyelashes? I promise I'll return them at the end of the night…
We were at church tonight. We have dinner there, although I don't sit downstairs, I take mine up to Ladies Bible Study. We just started Here and Now…There and Then. Oh my goodness is it ever awesome! Really good tonight…Tonight was the session about the letter to Ephesus. Is that spelled right? Anyway, really good! My baby goes to the nursery and my 6 year old goes to a wonderful class. I helped teach Wednesday nights for forever, so I just have to say that if you do that with kiddoes, Thanks! I know how hard it is to get up for that during the week w/ work and so forth. Your time and effort are so worth it in the kids you are teaching.
I'm loving my time in Bible Study now. We finished Priscilla's One in a Million before this one. Really good stuff too, but really…tonight was awesome. I have to figure out what I'm hanging on to and let it go, so I can get back to my best love. Good stuff!!!
I really do love Wednesday nights…sometimes it's hectic getting there, but such a needed thing during the week.
Sorry for the long answer!
Love
Cynthia in OK
We have a ladies Bible study usually with around 10 present. We have one more week left in Walking By Faith by Jennifer Rothschild. Then we will be starting Esther!!! I'm so looking forward to it.
yep. Go to church for Wed. nite Bible study. π hubby preaches and I help in the toddler nursery… though i really miss hearing the Wed. nite Bible study.
I go to Wednesday night Bible Study and Prayer Meeting.
I'll never forget hearing a Pastor say one time, "Going to Wednesday night service is like stoping at a gas station in the middle of the week to re-fill your tank". So true!
I get to spend my Wednesday nights with about 50 crazy Jr Highers! I think sometimes I have more fun than they do π
I am actually doing the Beth Moore Bible Study, "Breaking Free." On Wednesday nights at my church. Love it, by the way!
This semester, I'm leading "The Patriarchs" bible study on Wednesday nights.
Thanks for sharing the pictures. Your children are adorable !!
Those pictures are adorable.
My husband teaches AWANAs on Wed night and all my children go to church with him. I usually go, but I'm currently attending a grief group at another church. I will be glad when we will all be under "one roof" on Wed night after my group finishes=).
No church on Wednesday night for me,(Men's ministry meets bi-monthly) mid-week service is on Thursday. But… I did watch Wednesdays with Beth and then our Ladies Ministry did week 5 of Daniel this morning!
Just saw that the Minister's Wives Event in Irving, CA. is sold out! That's good for you, bad for me. Maybe next year, Lord willing!
I go to our Fellowship Meal, followed by Prayer meeting and bible study lead by our Pastor. I very special day of the week!Love the pictures. I have a question. We just did Beth's Loving Well, Retreat in a box that is taken from one of her Living Proof Live events and it was wonderful. Because of the economy we decided to stay at our church and do a Women's Conference instead of going away. Everyone loved it. We need to have more of her Simulcast available on DVD format so that we can do this again. I think it would be very successful and a blessing to many churches.
I go to Bible Study and choir practice. My son also has Youth Group during this time. It's kind of sad that a lot of churches don't have Sunday night and Wednesday night study anymore.
My kids go to Awanas and I go to Bible study. Right now…Breaking Free. And I'm loving it! My hubby doesn't go with us – they have a men's Bible study but he's just not into that. I wish he was, but I'm not gonna nag. I used to LOVE supper on Wednesday nights at church during highschool. But our church we go to now doesn't do it. π
We used to go to Wednesday church. But since our boy started Kindergarten in August, he has had an earlier bedtime. He is in bed most every night at 8 or before and we wouldn't get home from church till 8:20 or later.
So our solution is to do a special family devotion together or lesson. We pick a theme for the month and use that for each week's lesson. Right now we are going through the Fruit of the Spirit. We sing a song and have a Bible lesson. Right now we are making a book of the fruit. Our son looks forward to it. We've kept up and done this most Wednesday nights and have moved it to Thursday a couple times when we needed to.
Women's Bible study at church… AWANA for the children / youth and for the men…Men's Fraternity.
The women are doing Stepping Up.
I go to church on Sundays at 6pm to a service that is geared towards young people about 18-25. I love it! The worship music is awesome, aaand… I don't have to wake up early in the morning. π
Our three teens help lead the youth praise band and our youngest is in kids' choir on Wednesday nights. My husband and I either attend worship, help in other areas of the church or occassionally sneak away for a quick bite to eat and some catchin' up time together.
Great pictures of Jackson and Annabeth, Amanda. Our oldest son turned 14 today! I SOOOO remember his sweet, little voice when he was 4…now it's so deep and manly…he sounds just like his dad!
Have a wonderful week!
I too am a Wednesday night church attender:) Doing "Breaking Free" right now as part of a women's Bible study group. My friend often picks up Dunkin Donuts coffee for us (decaf, of course!)on her way to church, so that is a nice treat. Now if I just had a couple of cookies to go along with my coffee…..
We do have church on Wed. but I must tell you all about tonight!! We had a Purity Service. Tonight we had 118 Students commit to being pure before marriage. The ceremony took place in the sanctuary which was decorated like a wedding! I happen to have my 14yr old girl participate in it!! Each student received a ring, and was given it by their parents or guardian. The great part is that not only parents but several in our congregation came to support the students in their commitment. We all pledged to purity in our own lives along with the youth!! As our youth pastor said "It is not about the "no" it is about the "yes" to purity and having the best life God intended for us!!" Don't you love that?!?!
Adorable pics! I go to church for dinner and then to choir practice. It's one of my favorite times of the week!:)
The fam and I are in AWANAS at our church. The kiddos are in it and the hubby and I are both leaders. Great hair pics, btw!
Every other Wed. night I have started volunteering to help in the nursery. I have the luxury of having time with the Lord without little ones and so here is an opportunity to give back! The kids are cute and I meet young moms who may need some encouragement.
Darling Photos, your family has great "eyes"- I attend a Wednesday afternoon TAEHS study at my church-which is a Lectio Divina type bible study- Beth's teachings have been very beneficial to this type of study- We also have a brief Healing Prayer and Eucharist service at my Episcopal Church- usually very small in number- very different from the Baptist and Church of Christ Wed. services that I knew in my earlier life. Lots of love and blessings-
such beautiful angels!!
I go to church for Bible study. We are doing one of your studies, Jesus The One And Only. This is my first time doing one of your studies Beth. I am learning a lot. We also have snacks while we are watching your video. I never really thought of Luke 10:16 as a "transfer of rejection." "He says to those who belong to Him and seek to do His will: "Don't take rejection personally. Let me take it for you." Very powerful! Praise the Lord! Oh yeah, also, the "self-stuff" very rich. Thank you so much for sharing all that God has revealed to you to help us along in our journey. May God continue to bless you richly.
I teach K thru 2nd graders via the Awana program at our church on Wednesday evenings. They are such a joy! Sometimes I come home with sore cheeks from smiling and laughing so much!
