And in case anyone needs a little cheer in their day, here are some of Annabeth’s recent hairdos.

This was yesterdays’ post-nap bed head.

And here’s my boy. We were enjoying some leftover birthday cake with milk to wash it down, hence the mustache.

Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday! We’ll be spending ours at church. Does anyone else go to church on Wednesday nights? We go to fellowship supper and then Curtis teaches a Bible study class. What do you do?

We used to go to Wednesday church. But since our boy started Kindergarten in August, he has had an earlier bedtime. He is in bed most every night at 8 or before and we wouldn't get home from church till 8:20 or later.
So our solution is to do a special family devotion together or lesson. We pick a theme for the month and use that for each week's lesson. Right now we are going through the Fruit of the Spirit. We sing a song and have a Bible lesson. Right now we are making a book of the fruit. Our son looks forward to it. We've kept up and done this most Wednesday nights and have moved it to Thursday a couple times when we needed to.

We do have church on Wed. but I must tell you all about tonight!! We had a Purity Service. Tonight we had 118 Students commit to being pure before marriage. The ceremony took place in the sanctuary which was decorated like a wedding! I happen to have my 14yr old girl participate in it!! Each student received a ring, and was given it by their parents or guardian. The great part is that not only parents but several in our congregation came to support the students in their commitment. We all pledged to purity in our own lives along with the youth!! As our youth pastor said "It is not about the "no" it is about the "yes" to purity and having the best life God intended for us!!" Don't you love that?!?!

I go to church for Bible study. We are doing one of your studies, Jesus The One And Only. This is my first time doing one of your studies Beth. I am learning a lot. We also have snacks while we are watching your video. I never really thought of Luke 10:16 as a "transfer of rejection." "He says to those who belong to Him and seek to do His will: "Don't take rejection personally. Let me take it for you." Very powerful! Praise the Lord! Oh yeah, also, the "self-stuff" very rich. Thank you so much for sharing all that God has revealed to you to help us along in our journey. May God continue to bless you richly.

Our three teens help lead the youth praise band and our youngest is in kids' choir on Wednesday nights. My husband and I either attend worship, help in other areas of the church or occassionally sneak away for a quick bite to eat and some catchin' up time together.

Great pictures of Jackson and Annabeth, Amanda. Our oldest son turned 14 today! I SOOOO remember his sweet, little voice when he was 4…now it's so deep and manly…he sounds just like his dad!

    Have a wonderful week!

I too am a Wednesday night church attender:) Doing "Breaking Free" right now as part of a women's Bible study group. My friend often picks up Dunkin Donuts coffee for us (decaf, of course!)on her way to church, so that is a nice treat. Now if I just had a couple of cookies to go along with my coffee…..

Every other Wed. night I have started volunteering to help in the nursery. I have the luxury of having time with the Lord without little ones and so here is an opportunity to give back! The kids are cute and I meet young moms who may need some encouragement.

Darling Photos, your family has great "eyes"- I attend a Wednesday afternoon TAEHS study at my church-which is a Lectio Divina type bible study- Beth's teachings have been very beneficial to this type of study- We also have a brief Healing Prayer and Eucharist service at my Episcopal Church- usually very small in number- very different from the Baptist and Church of Christ Wed. services that I knew in my earlier life. Lots of love and blessings-

I teach K thru 2nd graders via the Awana program at our church on Wednesday evenings. They are such a joy! Sometimes I come home with sore cheeks from smiling and laughing so much!
